More Bad News for BP as Arsenic Levels Rise in Seawater Around the Gulf of Mexico



Beleaguered energy giant BP was hit with further bad news this morning as it emerged dangerous arsenic levels have been found in seawater around the Gulf of Mexico.
British scientists warned that the oil spill is increasing the level of arsenic in the ocean, and could further add to the devastating impact on the already sensitive environment.'

  1. Just how anyone in the sciences or government, currently dealing with the huge environmental disaster occurring in the Gulf of Mexico, can intimate all is well with the air we breathe, the food caught in those waters and eaten and the rain falling from the sky, is beyond my comprehension.

  2. I suppose, this is the time to stock up on fish and put it in your deep freezer if you have one.

    I really honestly don't know how we are going to overcome this disaster in the Gulf.

    It's a tragedy.
