Chip and Pill: The Hi-tech Tablet That Will Text You When it's Time to Take Another Dose

A 'smart' pill that texts patients' mobile phones if they forget to take their medication is being tested in the UK.

Around 40 volunteers are being recruited by NHS doctors to take standard versions of their heart pill fitted with a microchip.

The chips in the pills send signals to a patch attached to the patient's shoulder when swallowed.

Should Federal Clerks and Archivists Have Guns and Badges?

To attest to the ever more authoritarian nature of our federal government, I give you the stormtroopers of the National Archives who, for some unfathomable reason, have guns, badges and the power to “raid homes.”

The L.A. Times published a story recently detailing the poor state of security of our National Archives holdings. The piece penned by Faye Fiore is one that everyone should read because it details the utter incompetence of our federal government even at so small a level as safeguarding our nation’s historical records and archives. (And we want these nincompoops to take over our healthcare?)'

Security Tackles and Chokes Deaf Customer for Failure to Respond

Two deaf shoppers at XXI in Los Angeles, CA were approached by security and asked for their receipts. One was tackled and choked for an extended length of time while the other pleaded with security to stop, trying to explain that they are deaf. Police responded and arrested the alleged shoplifter for robbery and assault. By the looks of this video, it is hard to imagine how the deaf man laying on the ground turning purple from lack of oxygen assaulted anyone.

Iran Warns Against Israeli Invasion of Lebanon

Iran warns that if Israel were to invade Lebanon, it would be counter-attacked by several countries in the region. Iran's Fars News Agency reported that Ramin Mehman-Parast, an Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman, issued the warning yesterday, saying that while it's unlike Israel will invade Lebanon, the "Zionist regime would be slapped hard in the face by the regional states if it dares to attack Lebanon again."

"What the Zionist regime [Israel] should understand well… is that an aggression against any country in the region or against any Muslim nation in the region will cause the strong reaction of all the regional countries," said Mehman-Parast, when asked about how Iran would react were Israel to attack Lebanon. "Given the regional countries' preparedness and vigilance, they won't allow the Zionist regime and its supporters to make a move in this regard".'

Hundreds of Thousands of DEAD FISH on NEW JERSEY SHORE AUG 12th 2010

Experts Call for David Kelly Inquest

A group of prominent legal and medical experts today called for a full inquest into the death of the government scientist David Kelly in 2003.

An inquest was suspended by Lord Falconer, then lord chancellor, before the Hutton inquiry into the circumstances of the scientist's death. It was not resumed after Hutton's report in 2004 concluded that Kelly killed himself by cutting an artery in his wrist.

Nine experts including Michael Powers, a QC and former coroner, and Julian Blon, a professor of intensive care medicine, said in a letter to the Times that the official cause of death – haemorrhage from the severed artery – was "extremely unlikely".'

Showcase Afghan Army Mission Turns Into Embarrassment

An ambitious military operation that Afghan officials had expected to be a sign of their growing military capacity instead turned into an embarrassment, with Taliban fighters battering an Afghan battalion in a remote eastern area until NATO sent in French and American rescue teams.

The fighting has continued so intensely for the past week that the Red Cross has been unable to reach the battlefield to remove the dead and wounded.'

Senate Bill S510 Makes it illegal to Grow, Share, Trade or Sell Homegrown Food

S 510, the Food Safety Modernization Act of 2010, may be the most dangerous bill in the history of the US. It is to our food what the bailout was to our economy, only we can live without money.

“If accepted [S 510] would preclude the public’s right to grow, own, trade, transport, share, feed and eat each and every food that nature makes. It will become the most offensive authority against the cultivation, trade and consumption of food and agricultural products of one’s choice. It will be unconstitutional and contrary to natural law or, if you like, the will of God.” ~Dr. Shiv Chopra, Canada Health whistleblower

It is similar to what India faced with imposition of the salt tax during British rule, only S 510 extends control over all food in the US, violating the fundamental human right to food.

Monsanto says it has no interest in the bill and would not benefit from it, but Monsanto’s Michael Taylor who gave us rBGH and unregulated genetically modified (GM) organisms, appears to have designed it and is waiting as an appointed Food Czar to the FDA (a position unapproved by Congress) to administer the agency it would create — without judicial review — if it passes. S 510 would give Monsanto unlimited power over all US seed, food supplements, food and farming.'

Doctor Urges Fast Food Restaurants to Hand Out Pharma Drugs Like Ketchup Packets

It sounds like an April Fool's joke, but it isn't: A doctor from Imperial College London whose study was published in the American Journal of Cardiology has proclaimed that people who eat burgers and milkshakes at fast food restaurants should be given free statin drugs (like ketchup packets) to counteract the cholesterol effects of eating burgers.

"Fast food outlets could provide statin drugs free of charge," says Dr. Darrel Francis, lead author of study, who goes on to complain that statin drugs shouldn't be prescription drugs at all. People should be able to get them as easily as asking for a packet of ketchup: "It makes sense to make risk-reducing supplements available just as easily as the unhealthy condiments that are provided free of charge," Francis says, calling statins a "supplement" instead of a drug. Yeah, as if it were a nutrient or something.'

BP's Insidious Coverup and Propaganda Campaign: Out of Sight, Out of Mind

Since BP announced that CEO Tony Hayward would receive a multi-million dollar golden parachute and be replaced by Bob Dudley, we have witnessed an incredibly broad, and powerful, propaganda campaign. A campaign that peaked this week with the US government, clearly acting in BP’s best interests, itself announcing, via outlets willing to allow themselves to be used to transfer the propaganda, like the New York Times, this message: “The government is expected to announce on Wednesday that three-quarters of the oil from the Deepwater Horizon leak has already evaporated, dispersed, been captured or otherwise eliminated — and that much of the rest is so diluted that it does not seem to pose much additional risk of harm.”

The Times was accommodating enough to lead the story with a nice photo of a fishing boat motoring across clean water with several birds in the foreground.

This message was disseminated far and wide, via other mainstream media outlets like the AP and Reuters, effectively announcing to the masses that despite the Gulf of Mexico suffering the largest marine oil disaster in US history, most of the oil was simply “gone.”

Thus, it’s only what is on the surface that counts. If you can’t see it, there is not a problem.'

'Routine' Massacre of Civilians in Iraq: Former GIs Describe US Policy of Firing on Civilians

Three former U.S. soldiers involved in the infamous “Collateral Murder” helicopter gunship attack on Baghdad civilians in July 2007, say that attack was nothing out of the ordinary. The massacre---that killed more than a dozen Iraqis, two of them employed by Reuters---ignited a wave of international revulsion against the U.S. military in Iraq when a video of the massacre was released by WikiLeaks last April.

“What the world did not see is the months of training that led up to the incident, in which soldiers were taught to respond to threats with a barrage of fire---a “wall of steel,” in Army parlance---even if it put civilians at risk,” report Sarah Lazare and Ryan Harvey in the August 16th issue of The Nation magazine.'

Anti-Nuclear Campaigner Turns 'Pro'

Britain's Energy Secretary and anti-nuclear campaigner Chris Huhne has vowed to build new nuclear power stations across the country in a move described by British voters as 'an astonishing U-turn'.

The minister who belongs to the Liberal Democrats camp, the junior partner in the coalition government, said that potential sites for building new nuclear plants have been identified and they should come on stream by 2018.

When in opposition, Secretary Huhne was one of the most high-profile anti-nuclear campaigners and for the same reason his reason his remarks shocked many in Westminster.

Three years ago, he wrote: “Nuclear is a tried, tested and failed technology. New nuclear would be economically foolhardy, environmentally irresponsible and pose long-term security questions that are impossible to address.

“If we opt for a new generation of nuclear reactors, future generations may rue the day. We will be encumbering them with high costs and enormous and unknowable liabilities. We will miss a key opportunity to pioneer a green future".'

Germany Releases 'Mossad Agent'

A German court has released Uri Brodsky, an Israeli citizen suspected of being involved in the assassination of a senior Hamas leader in Dubai, on bail.

Brodsky, an alleged Mossad agent, is accused of helping fake a German passport that was used by one of the members of a hit squad involved in the killing of Mahmoud al-Mabhouh in a Dubai hotel in January.

German prosecutors said on Friday that there was no need to keep Brodsky in detention and that he was free to travel while judicial proceedings against him continue in Germany. This would mean Brodsky is free to return to Israel, as his maximum penalty would be a fine covered by the bail payment.'

EU Tax and the Ultimate Surrender of Britain's Sovereignty

For decades the EU has been dreaming of the ultimate power grab over all our lives — and a story in yesterday’s Daily Mail gave a very strong hint that Brussels is now planning to pull it off.

Under the headline ‘EU bids to impose new tax on Britain’, the story explained that over the next few months, the EU budget commissioner Janusz Lewandowski will be lobbying hard round the capitals of Europe for the EU to be given the power to levy its own taxes — on such things as energy, airline flights and financial transactions.

It might seem surprising that this Polish Eurocrat believes the present economic downturn is an ideal time for the EU to impose such taxes across Europe, to fund its ever-rising budget and its ever-expanding empire.'

HAARP?: 'Blocked' Jetstream to Blame for Freak Weather in Russia and Pakistan, Say Scientists

BP Is Hiding Dead Animals to Avoid Fine of $50,000 Per Dead Animal (and the Bad Publicity)

The numbers of birds, fish, turtles, and mammals killed by the use of Corexit will never be known as the evidence strongly suggests that BP worked with the Coast Guard, the Department of Homeland Security, the FAA, private security contractors, and local law enforcement, all of which cooperated to conceal the operations disposing of the animals from the media and the public.

The majority of the disposal operations were carried out under cover of darkness. The areas along the beaches and coastal Islands where the dead animals were collected were closed off by the U.S. Coast Guard. On shore, private contractors and local law enforcement officials kept off limits the areas where the remains of the dead animals were dumped, mainly at the Magnolia Springs landfill by Waste Management where armed guards controlled access. The nearby weigh station where the Waste Management trucks passed through with their cargoes was also restricted by at least one sheriff's deputies in a patrol car, 24/7.'

How They do it and The Solution to their Evil Intent.

There are two reasons why Israel dominates American domestic and foreign policy. They control the mass media that gives the intentionally dumbed down American public their news and their world view. They control the money supply by controlling the central banks that issue currency via the mediums that actually print it according to their instructions. The same is true of Canada, the U.K. and Australia and all the satellites where their influence prevails. To a varying degree this also applies to the European Union and their common market. In a real politicks sense, this provides a united front against non-cooperative economies and the placement of dangerous weapons on far reaching borders. This is especially true in Eastern Europe where IMF and other injurious, vampire interest, money lending consortiums, coerce the governments to follow a demanded policy of subservience to the general mindset of enforced paranoia at the expense of the people’s and cultures of all affected nations.'

Towards a World War III Scenario? The Role of Israel in Triggering an Attack on Iran

The stockpiling and deployment of advanced weapons systems directed against Iran started in the immediate wake of the 2003 bombing and invasion of Iraq. From the outset, these war plans were led by the US, in liaison with NATO and Israel.

Following the 2003 invasion of Iraq, the Bush administration identified Iran and Syria as the next stage of “the road map to war”. US military sources intimated that an aerial attack on Iran could involve a large scale deployment comparable to the US "shock and awe" bombing raids on Iraq in March 2003:

"American air strikes on Iran would vastly exceed the scope of the 1981 Israeli attack on the Osiraq nuclear center in Iraq, and would more resemble the opening days of the 2003 air campaign against Iraq.'

The Hidden Tragedy of the CIA's Experiments on Children

Mary is only five years old. She sits on a small, straight-backed chair, moving her legs back and forth, humming the same four notes over and over and over. Her head, framed in a tangled mass of golden curls, moves up and down with each note. For the first three years of her life, Mary was thought to be a mostly normal child. Then, after she began behaving oddly, she had been handed off to a foster family. Her father and mother didn't want her any longer. She had become too strange for her father, whose alcoholism clouded any awareness of his young daughter. Mary's mother had never wanted her anyway and was happy to have her placed in another home. When the LSD Mary has been given begins to have its effects, she stops moving her head and legs and sits staring at the wall. She doesn't move at all. After about ten minutes, she looks at the nearby physician observing her, and says, "God isn't coming back today. He's too busy. He won't be back here for weeks".'

US Planning a Coup d'Etat in Venezuela? Expanded US Military Presence in Colombia.

There's no way of knowing whether Chavez is really in danger or not, but don't be surprised if he is. After all, the US claims it has the right to kill anyone it sees as a threat to its national security, and Chavez ranks high on its list of threats. In any event, the warnings coincide with other unsettling developments. At a recent meeting of the Organization of American States (OAS), Colombian officials charged Chavez with harboring guerrillas on Venezuelan territory. (The allegations could be used to justify a preemptive attack) Chavez reacted angrily to the accusations and broke off diplomatic relations with Colombia. But the row did not end there. Obama's nominee as US ambassador to Venezuela, Larry Palmer, decided to throw a little gas on the fire by backing-up Colombia's claims. Now the two countries are at loggerheads which seems to be what the Obama administration had in mind from the very beginning. US policy towards Venezuela has changed at all under Obama. The Garda press office told Goldhawk that they could not answer any queries, ie. why the gardai were not considered adequate to carry out security duties on Irish territory and if they had any concerns about Mossad and/or Israeli security agents flashing guns at a football match in Dublin.

This is because the Department of Justice had overruled the Gardai and insisted that Israeli agents be allowed to carry arms at a football match as a substitute for the Gardai, equipped as they are with all manner of armed, specialist units. Anti-Terror Hotline Advert Banned

A police advert encouraging the public to report suspected terrorists has been banned for potentially causing "serious offence" to law-abiding citizens, a watchdog has said.

The radio advert for the Anti-Terrorist Hotline listed "suspicious" behaviour worth reporting to the police as: "The man at the end of the street doesn't talk to his neighbours much, because he likes to keep himself to himself. He pays with cash because he doesn't have a bank card, and he keeps his curtains closed because his house is on a bus route."

It continued: "This may mean nothing, but together it could all add up to you having suspicions. We all have a role to play in combating terrorism. If you see anything suspicious call the confidential Anti-Terrorist Hotline. If you suspect it, report it."

The campaign by the Association of Chief Police Officers (Acpo) drew 18 complaints, including 10 from listeners who said it was offensive for encouraging people to report law-abiding citizens who acted in the ways described.

Others said it could encourage people to harass or victimise their neighbours and made an undue appeal to fear.'

Former Obama Campaigner Caught Provocatuering As ‘Racist’ Tea Party Member

A man purporting to be a Rand Paul supporter was caught on film brandishing a racist sign at a rally in Kentucky this past weekend, then later spotted marching with supporters of Paul’s political opponent.

In a another blatant case of provocateuring, the man, who introduced himself as “Tyler” was spotted wearing a tin foil hat and flip flops around his neck with the word “CAP & TRADE” written on them.

While carrying an official Rand Paul campaign hand fan, he also held an anti-immigration sign that read “They take our jobs! Corrupt our children! STEAL the American Dream!” '

Hurrah for Hugo Chavez

Chavez's policies have reduced ignorance, poverty, and injustice. The list goes on and on. Venezuelans are more engaged in the political process than anytime in the nation's history. That scares Washington. US elites don't want well-informed, empowered people participating in the political process. They believe that task should be left to the venal politicians chosen by corporate bosses and top-hat banksters. That's why Chavez has to go. He's given people hope for a better life.'

Mexico Looks to Legalisation as Drug War Murders Hit 28,000

Mexico's president, Felipe Calderón, has joined calls for a debate on the legalisation of drugs as new figures show thousands of Mexicans every year being slaughtered in cartel wars.

"It is a fundamental debate," the president said, belying his traditional reluctance to accept any questioning of the military-focused offensive against the country's drug cartels that he launched in late 2006. "You have to analyse carefully the pros and cons and key arguments on both sides." The president said he personally opposes the idea of legalisation.

Calderón's new openness comes amid tremendous pressure to justify a strategy that has been accompanied by the spiralling of horrific violence around the country as the cartels fight each other and the government crack down. Official figures released this week put the number of drug war related murders at 28,000.'

Polish investigative journalist Rafal Gawronski.has disappeared after being arrested outside the residence of the newly elected president Bronislaw Komorowski in Warsaw last week.

A police spokesperson said that Gawronski signed a document stating that he „does not want anyone to know where he is”, and was released, but he has not been seen since.

Gawronski investigated the Smolensk plane crash and recorded interviews with witnesses who said that there were no bodies to be seen at the site of the crash, throwing doubt on the official version.

An amateur video that has since been confirmed to be authentic appears to show the surviving crew of four being shot by armed men at the site of the crashed plane.'

Did Google Block 'Barry Soetoro' Search Term?

Screenshots obtained by a Prison Planet reader suggest that Google may have moved to de-list “Barry Soetoro” as a popular search term shortly after it rose to the top of the Google Trends charts after yesterday’s effort by radio talk show host Alex Jones to focus attention on Barack Obama’s real name.

The search term reached number one on Google Trends soon after Alex Jones began discussing the issue on his show yesterday and Prison Planet.com released an article on the same topic. However, within the space of about an hour, the term quickly slipped down the list of hot search terms and by the end of the day was gone completely.'

US to Emasculate Saudi F-15s for Israel

Acknowledging Israeli concerns, the United States is reportedly to reduce the combat capabilities of the warplanes it is to sell Saudi Arabia.

Israeli officials had voiced unease with the proportions of the arms deal which sees the sale of about 84 F-15 aircraft to the Kingdom, prominent American paper The Wall Street Journal reported on Monday.

Security sources in Israel had warned that equipped with the fighters, the Saudis "might turn against us," the Israeli daily, Ha'aretz had said.

Accordingly and in line with Washington's age-old policy of adjusting its actions with Tel Aviv, the planes are to lose some of their combat-readiness, including advanced long-range weapons systems. They are as well to be fitted with comparably poorer onboard targeting systems.'

Bounty Hunters to Cut Benefit Fraud by £1 Billion

Finance experts will identify welfare cheats by trawling through their records, household bills and credit card applications.

The agencies will get a “bounty” payment for each fraudster they identify under government plans to cut the £5.2billion annual fraud bill.

By having access to the Government’s database of incapacity and housing benefit claimants, the companies believe they can shave at least £1billion from the welfare bill, earning as much as £50million.'

'Afghanistan to Expel US Security Firms'

Afghan President Hamid Karzai is set to call on Washington and its allies to shut down their private security companies in the violence-stricken country.

President Karzai will announce the details of his demand late Saturday during a press conference in Kabul, a Press TV correspondent reported.

Informed sources in the presidential office said the Afghan leader was set to impose a ban on Western-backed security firms and announce his new policy on the fight against corruption.

President Karzai had earlier accused foreign security contractors in the country of operating as militias, saying that these firms are only worsening the security situation in Afghanistan.'

Cops Smash Window, Drag Disabled Man Out of Car for Not Wearing Seatbelt

A police officer jumped on the bonnet of retired businessman Robert Whatley's car and kicked the windscreen while another hit the window with his baton 15 times until it smashed.

They then dragged the 70-year-old, who has a heart condition and recently recovered from a stroke, from his £60,000 Range Rover

Mr Whatley, who lives in Usk, Monmouthshire, said: 'I couldn't believe what was happening.

'The police went completely over the top -- you would have thought I had robbed a bank. I was terrified when they started smashing in the window and trying
to kick in the windscreen.

'It's something you might expect in America but not in the quiet of the British countryside.'

The officers have been suspended while the Independent Police Complaints Commission carries out an investigation.

Couple Painting Fence Fined £80 for Criminal Damage After 'Flecks' Ended Up on Neighbours' Side

A couple who painted their side of a garden fence have been fined £80 for 'criminal damage'.

They were fined after a neighbour complained to the police that it was actually her fence, and flecks of green paint had splashed onto her side - which was brown.

Officers visited Kay Balsdon, 47, and her 29-year-old partner Chris Bates - and they were threatened with prosecution if they refused to accept the on-the-spot fine.'

The Rothschilds and the 'Crown'

The "City of London" was created after the invasion of William of Orange, who acted on behalf of the disbanded Knights Templar. This is why the Templar Shield is at the center of the city's crest. The descendants of the Templars organized Freemasonry with the Rosicrucians and, later, the Illuminati at the head. These are the real rulers of the English Empire and the City of London is their capital.

"The Bank of England and its monstrous ancient temple of a building is the template for all big central banks that wish to perpetuate the global scam. Located in the private City of London the counterfeiting operation opened its doors in 1694 as an easy way for the Government to create finance. It was only later that the Rothschilds infiltrated the institution. The initial idea came from Scottish money changer William Paterson who some researchers claim was an initiate in to the Order of the Orange, a Merovingian Bloodline secret society developed by Dutch (Templar) Freemason, William of Orange".'

Operation Opera II - Israeli Attack on Iran

The worse kept secret is the joint plans of Israel and their American stooges for a sneak attack on Iran. Succumbing to the militaristic legacy of imperial Japan, the joint chiefs of staff are ready to facilitate or even lead a stealth charge against purported WMD targets. So what is their rationale? Since the deadly weapon facilities could not be found in Iraq, maybe they will be found in Iran? If Iran was ready to develop nuclear weapons, how is that any different from Israel already deploying 200 plus warheads? Especially since the Zionist belligerent is poised to strike Iran in a repeat of their “Operation Opera” against the Iraqi Osirak reactor in 1981.

In the most delusional and warped minds of hardened Christian Zionist supporters of the ultimate terrorist state, Israel can do no wrong. How could such an act of undeclared war benefit the American nation? The neocon hijacking of an American First foreign policy is the demented legacy of the Bush presidencies. The Obama administration is no different. The War Party mindset remains the dominate force that defends the Zionist rogue regime that is bent upon an apocalyptic holocaust of their own making.'

TV is a Psycho-Social Weapon

I think most right thinking people are agreed that physical effects aside, the content of the majority of TV programming today (I emphasise the word programming, a process that involves a passive receptor of information) is designed to instil a social worldview and value system that is self-centric and is in fact the opposite of what a healthy and enduring society requires. Individualism at any cost rules the day and it is more and more evident that empathy for one’s fellow citizen and a sense of personal responsibility are rapidly vanishing along with the morality that all healthy civilisations have known to be necessary for survival.'
