Mother of Three Arrested for Taking Pictures of Tourist Attraction at Airport

This case is a frightening example of what can happen when a photographer encounters ignorant bullies with badges. According to the complaint filed in Federal Court, Nancy Genovese, a mother of three, was driving home on County Road 31 past Gabreski Airport in Suffolk County. Gabreski Airport displays a decorative helicopter shell by the roadway to the public, which is visible to all who pass by.

Nancy Genovese stopped her car on the side of the road across the street from the airport in an area that is open and accessible to the public, and crossed over the road to the airport entryway that is also open and accessible to the public to take a picture of the helicopter display. While still in her car, she took a picture of the decorative helicopter shell with the intention of posting it on her personal “Support Our Troops” web page.'

Insider Report: US Government Will Confiscate Gold When It Touches $2000

We’ve learned from well known metals analyst and commentator Roger Wiegand, in an email to silver analyst David Morgan which was subsequently published in Morgan’s latest Silver Investor newsletter available only to subscribers, that several of Wiegand’s high level inside sources have reported that the puppeteers behind the US government, in order to facilitate a move into a new world currency are considering, or may have already begun moving forward with, a plan to confiscate gold and silver from the American public.'

Major Scandal Erupts Involving Rep. Jane Harman, Alberto Gonzales and AIPAC

Rep. Jane Harman , the California Democrat with a longtime involvement in intelligence issues, was overheard on an NSA wiretap telling a suspected Israeli agent that she would lobby the Justice Department to reduce espionage-related charges against two officials of the American Israeli Public Affairs Committee, the most powerful pro-Israel organization in Washington.

Harman was recorded saying she would “waddle into” the AIPAC case “if you think it’ll make a difference,” according to two former senior national security officials familiar with the NSA transcript.

In exchange for Harman’s help, the sources said, the suspected Israeli agent pledged to help lobby Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., then-House minority leader, to appoint Harman chair of the Intelligence Committee after the 2006 elections, which the Democrats were heavily favored to win.

Seemingly wary of what she had just agreed to, according to an official who read the NSA transcript, Harman hung up after saying, “This conversation doesn’t exist".'

Abbas and Fayyad Must Resign Too

After two decades of failed political moves, the Palestinian Authority represented by its top leadership are hoping to avoid the inevitable: paying a heavy price for corruption of all kinds, alienating the Palestinian people, and failing to negotiate an end to Israel’s occupation.

Threatened and undermined by the Al Jazeera-Guardian Palestine Papers leak, and dismayed by wrongly siding with Egypt’s ousted dictator Hosni Mubarak, the Palestinian Authority is employing desperate political maneuvers.

Palestinian President Abbas has asked his Chief Negotiator and cabinet in the West Bank to submit their resignation. He has also called for Parliamentarian and Presidential elections in September and deliberately avoided giving a specific date.

Will Abbas and Fayyad succeed in soaking the Palestinian anger by these desperate maneuvers? No. Nothing short of Abbas and Fayyad handing in their own resignations and accepting responsibility for their failures will satisfy the Palestinian streets.'

Pentagon Almighty: Defense Budget Fat, Sick Economy Starving

Social Security is Not an 'Entitlement' Program

A long coveted cut to Social Security and Medicare is going to happen. This will occur for reasons none of the politicians in the District of Criminals will ever speak about publicly. There is far more at stake here than what the District terms an “unfunded liability”.

When you hear those in the District speak about this liability, you need to understand what they are really saying. This is an intra-governmental debt, meaning; a debt accrued within the government. It is a liability to the federal government because it is owed to “you” and they have no way of paying it back without taxing you more heavily. You are the “full faith and credit” of the United States corporation. That means government runs up the bills and we pay it.'

EDL Partners With Far-Right US Jewish Group

The head of the EDL’s Jewish division Roberta Moore has announced a partnership with far-right American group the Jewish Task Force on the EDL Facebook page.

The JTF leader Victor Vancier has also posted a podcast where he said: “We were contacted by the English Defence League last few weeks and we have agreed we want to work together on joint projects. They are a major organisation, with mass media coverage.

“I wanted to be sure they were not the BNP, we would never work Holocaust deniers or Nazis. They wave Israeli flags, they support the Jewish people. They want Jewish members. We are happy to work with them to save England from the millions of Muslim invaders. We want to work as a united front".'

Is it a Bird? Is it a Plane? No, it's the Army's Latest Four Million Dollar Spy Drone Disguised as a Hummingbird, Measuring Just 16 Centimetres

A pocket-sized spy drone disguised as a hummingbird has been unveiled by a major Pentagon contractor measuring just 16 centimetres and weighing less than an AA battery.

The mini spy plane can fly up to 11 miles an hour and took five years to develop at a cost of $4million.

Army chiefs hope to use the drone’s tiny camera to spy on enemy positions in war zones without arousing detection and eventually deploy it into both rural and urban environments.'

Medical 'Experts' Pushing HPV Vaccines Told What Not to Say About Them, Including Their Death Toll

Two British doctors recently wrote a piece in the BBC urging the U.K. National Health Service (NHS) to switch from Merck's Cervarix human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine to GlaxoSmithKline's (GSK) Gardasil HPV vaccine, in its mass vaccination program for young girls. And the two "experts" admit that they only say publicly what helps the vaccine to be well received by the public.

"We, as consultants in sexual health, have been told to say nothing publicly that would damage the current (HPV) vaccine campaign," they state in their piece.

But what is missing from their recommendations is the fact that Dr. O'Mahony has been on the advisory boards of both GSK and Merck, and has received "lecture fees" for his services. This clear conflict of interest may be the precise reason why no mention is made in the BBC piece about the countless thousands of young girls that have become debilitated or died from both Cervarix and Gardasil.'

Egypt OKs Iran Warships Through Suez Canal

Egypt has agreed to let two Iranian naval vessels transit the Suez Canal, a move that comes despite expressions of concern by Israeli officials, the Egyptian-government's MENA news agency reported Friday.

Authorities approved a request from Iranian diplomats who offered assurances that the two ships won't have weapons or nuclear or chemical material, MENA stated.

The move had been widely expected and Iranian officials have insisted the request is in line with international regulations. They say the two vessels are headed to Syria for training.'

Egypt Military Warns Against New Demonstrations

Egypt's military has warned people against staging fresh pro-democracy protests, saying it will not allow constant "illegal" strikes and demonstrations that have wreaked havoc on the economy.

The Egyptian Supreme Council of the Armed Forces, which has temporarily taken over power following the historic ouster of President Hosni Mubarak in the North African country, declared in its statement on Saturday that it will "confront" protests with "legal steps," the Associated Press reported.

The military has taken a hard-nosed approach toward continued mass pro-democracy protests at a time when massive walkouts by the public sector staff in protest against low wages and poor working conditions have raised the specter of new multi-million protests akin to the huge demonstrations that put an end to Mubarak's 30-year reign.'

Another Big Corporation CEO Joins White House

The White House announced on Friday that Paul Otellini will be named to Council on Jobs and Competitiveness. Obama will announce Otellini's appointment on Friday as he travels to Oregon and tour Intel Corp.'s semiconductor manufacturing facility, Los Angeles Times reported.

The Council on Jobs and Competitiveness was created in January to replace the old Economic Recovery Advisory Board. Obama created the latter when he took office in an attempt to stimulate economic recovery and solve America's financial crisis. The body expired on February 6.

The US President has said he wants to lower the corporate tax rate and eliminate tax loopholes to give American businesses more room to grow.'

Anti-Gaddafi Protesters Seize Libyan City

Pro-democracy protesters have reportedly taken control over the eastern Libyan city of al-Baida as anti-Gaddafi regime rallies escalate across the North African country.

Two Libyan exile groups say the takeover came after some local police joined the protesters. Clashes are reportedly under way as government militias have been deployed to the area following the incident to re-take the city.

Libyans have taken to the streets across the country on what they call the "day of anger." The protesters want an end to the long rule of Muammar Gaddafi.'

Britain Gives Up Forests Sell-off Plan

Britain's Environment Secretary Caroline Spelman will announce an end to the controversial consultation on the sale of the 258,000 hectares of public woodlands.

Prime Minister David Cameron has told the MPs that he was not “happy with the government's handling of the issue,” and he would not back the plan anymore.

Instead, a new group of experts is planned to reconsider the bill "with something everyone is happy with", a government source said.

'Army Massacring Bahraini Protesters'

The Bahraini military has opened machinegun fire on protesters who were trying to reach hospital, injuring hundreds, in what appears to be an attempted massacre, medics say.

The Army has prevented ambulances and medics from reaching those wounded amid massive pro-democracy protests in Bahrain, Dr. Ghasam, a resident at Salmaniyeh hospital in Manama, told Press TV on Friday.

He said that the protesters were marching to hospital in silence to visit those wounded in the previous rallies, when they were ambushed by troops waiting near the hospital.'

US-led Airstrike Kills 37 Afghan Civilians

A US-led airstrike have killed at least 37 people and wounded several others in the troubled eastern Afghanistan amid growing discontent over such attacks.

DHS Anti-Child Pornography Operation Accidentally Shuts Down 84,000 Sites

This is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE! The Department of Homeland Security is a rogue government agency that believes it operates above the Constitution. We CANNOT let this continue.

Every single owner of the 84,000 sites that were shut down should file a lawsuit immediately. DHS MUST be help accountable for their actions or our republic will be lost forever.

In an effort to crack down on child pornography, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Department of Justice (DOJ) announced the seizure of 10 domains as a part of a new initiative called “Operation Protect Our Children” but they also shut down 84,000 seemingly innocent sites in the process.'

Health Freedom: Teetering on the Brink

The state of health freedom in present-day Canada could probably best be described by how a dart board feels on league night, as multiple threats converge on what remains of our ability to choose our own medicine.

With the passage of Bill C-36, a door was opened for the Ministry of Health to take direction from foreign authorities, revealed to include other nations, or groups of nations, such as the UN, or trade groups. That open door leads to harmonization with natural health product regulations that will restrict our access and cut more deeply into our freedom to make choices in our own lives. And it is an open announcement that our government does not care one whit about what we think, because it has signed over our sovereignty to trade groups, one after the other, for years.'

No Need For Austerity! Labour Council Chief’s Pay Soars to £168,000 as His Authority Faces Spending Cuts of 19%

A Labour-run council jacked up the salary of its chief executive by 7 per cent yesterday in defiance of calls for pay cuts.

Paul Walker’s inflation-busting rise takes his pay to £168,000.

Last night, the decision was condemned by trade unions as ‘morally indefensible’ and the Tories as unjustifiable.

The increase, in Hartlepool, comes as other Labour-led councils in the North are saying Government cuts mean they have no choice but to reduce services for children, the elderly, leisure and libraries, because they have no bureaucratic waste to slash.'

Witnesses Saw People 'Vaporized' on 9/11

"I interviewed a Red Cross worker in Dallas whose name escapes me at the moment but I have her report in my files. She told me she was sent to NYC by the Red Cross to help survivors of the WTC. She said the thing that most stuck out in her mind after interviewing dozens of people was the number that told her of looking back and seeing people engulfed in some sort of fireball and disintegrating.

Obviously, a collapsing building cannot produce such an effect. But a mini-nuke shaped charge placed in the basement to blow out the central core columns could. A small nuclear device could also explain the pyroplasmic cloud seen above the WTC, the disintegration and warping of heavy steel beams and the pulverization of so much concrete, not to mention the blood cell cancer now suffered by some of the first responders".'

Looking for a Smack-Down on the Road to Damascus

And in America; the fallout from the recent chemical attack on the Gulf of Mexico keeps on keeping on. It is like something out of a comic book, except it’s not funny unless you’re a fan of S. Clay Wilson. How can something like this be allowed to continue? The English Crown and the Rothschilds, committed an act of aggression against a sovereign power, ostensibly a friend, and ‘there’s nothing to see here, keep moving’. Proceed in an orderly fashion to the chain locked exit doors.

Picture to yourself, for a moment, the image of world leaders around the globe trying to push a genii back into a bottle. Do they hang around and try to manage the emerging chaos, given that there is still revenue flowing into their personal accounts, or… do they book while the booking is good? The hinterlands of Paraguay are set to soon resemble the look of the Costa del Sol in any case. They’ve got a real dilemma. Do they follow the lead of their raging greed and skim what cream remains, or do they slip from sight with the coming of night?'

Deadly 'Day of Rage' in Libya

Libyan protesters seeking to oust longtime leader Moammar Gadhafi have defied a crackdown and taken to the streets on what activists have dubbed a “day of rage”.

There are reports that more than a dozen demonstrators have been killed in clashes with pro-government groups.

Opponents of Gaddafi, communicating anonymously online or working in exile, urged people to protest on Thursday to try to emulate popular uprisings which unseated long-serving rulers in neighbouring Tunisia and Egypt.'

World Bank: Food Prices at 'Dangerous Levels'

Global food prices have hit "dangerous levels" that could contribute to political instability, push millions of people into poverty and raise the cost of groceries, according to a new report from the World Bank.

The bank released a report Tuesday that said global food prices have jumped 29 percent in the past year, and are just 3 percent below the all-time peak hit in 2008. Bank President Robert Zoellick said the rising prices have hit people hardest in the developing world because they spend as much as half their income on food.'

Egyptian Workers Step up Strike Offensive

Tens of the thousands of Egyptian workers ignored appeals by military high command and spread their strike actions across the country Wednesday, demanding higher pay, better working conditions, and the purging of corrupt officials linked to ousted dictator Hosni Mubarak.

In Egypt’s largest industrial center, the textile manufacturing capital Mahalla al-Kubra, some 12,000 workers resumed a strike at the Misr Spinning and Weaving factory that had been suspended for three days after the resignation of President Mubarak. In addition to demands for higher wages, the workers want two top managers to resign, a strike organizer said.'

Sociocide: Iraq Is No More

In Iraq, the United States has spent or wasted trillions of dollars over two decades, destroyed trillions of dollars worth of infrastructure, killed millions of people, injured and traumatized many millions more, driven several million people from their homes creating the greatest refugee crisis in the Middle East since the Nakba, encouraged ethnic and religious strife, segregated towns and neighborhoods, empowered religious fanatics, set back women's rights horribly, effectively eliminated gay and lesbian rights, nearly killed off some minority groups, decimated the nation's cultural heritage, and created a generation of people without the experience of peace, without education, without proper nutrition, without tolerance, without proper healthcare, without a functioning government, and without affection for or even indifference to the United States.'

Anthony Graves, who was jailed on wrong convictions, could have received USD 1.4 million in compensation but was found not eligible for it because the words “actual innocence” were not stated in the documents ordering his release.

Fox News Caught In Shocking Dirty Tricks Stunt Against Ron Paul

In a shocking act of mass public deception, Fox News attempted to skew Ron Paul’s 2011 CPAC straw poll win by representing it with footage from the previous year’s CPAC event, at which Mitt Romney supporters had loudly booed the result, another example of the continuing dirty tricks campaign being waged against Paul by the establishment media.'

Facebook & Google are CIA Fronts

There used to be a saying: ''No one makes a name for himself without giving something up''

As a youngster, I was awed by people who ''made it to the top'' by creating and innovating corporations, technologies, or simply establishing themselves through sports, music, entertainment, etc. thus becoming millionaires.

Now as I have grown older, I realize how illusory this paradigm really is. I came to the conclusion that if you want to reach the ''top',' you have to give up your soul.

Take Mark Zuckerberg for example. He is one of the most ''successful entrepreneurs'' in the last decade. Having made a fortune through his Facebook empire, he reaches more than 500 million people worldwide. It seems like a fairytale. A student creates a new interface to connect the people throughout the world. Well, it sounds great doesn't it? It would, if we were true.'

The Cat is Out of the Bag

The story so far: The council have demanded council tax from me, which I have refused to pay for 3 years - on the grounds that there is no lawfully enforceable contract between me (Roger Hayes) and the council. The council is refusing to provide me with a lawful contract because they think they have the right to demand that I pay council tax... which they do not. I am happy to pay my council tax – but only when the Council has agreed to provide me with a lawful contract... this is my right. The benefit of a contract is that it makes the council agree terms and conditions with me and prevents them acting in an arbitrary fashion i.e. it brings power back to the people.

The fact is that the council has no right to demand council tax from me (Roger Hayes) - but they DO have the right to demand it from the legal fiction MR ROGER HAYES... but that isn’t me. If readers are not familiar with the legal fiction – please refer to previous articles or the UK Column web site

On the 11th January 2011 in the county court of Birkenhead, in front of witnesses, the court conceded to the right of Roger Hayes to act as ‘third party representative’ for MR ROGER HAYES. In essence the court agreed that they they were two entirely separate entities. This is an extraordinary development to put it very mildly.'

US, UK Scapegoated an Iraqi Chemical Scientist to Wage War on Iraq

To enable the invasion, the government of former British Premier Tony Blair had also claimed that deposed Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein could mount deadly unconventional attacks on his desired targets within 45 minutes. A memoire by Former US Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld recently hit the shelves, in which he admitted that Baghdad had no WMD program. The British paper also cited Janabi as saying that UK intelligence officials had implied that, in the event of his non-cooperation, his then-pregnant Moroccan-born wife may not be able to travel from Spain to join him in Germany, where he was staying. “He says, you work with us or your wife and child go to Morocco".'

Illegal for Israelis to support BDS?

The Boycott, Divestment and Sanction (BDS) movement endorsed by Palestinian civil society organizations in 2005 has become one of the most controversial issues surrounding the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. In the spirit of the boycott movement against Apartheid South Africa, BDS activists have racked up a number of successful cultural, academic and economic boycotts of Israel over the country’s treatment of Palestinians under occupation in the West Bank and Gaza. This afternoon, the state of Israel took steps towards criminalizing support of BDS by Israeli citizens.

Climate Change Scientists Call for Food Rationing to Reduce Carbon Emissions

Leading scientists have called for World War II-style rationing in First World countries to avert catastrophic global warming, in a series of papers published by the United Kingdom's Royal Society.

"The Second World War and the concept of rationing is something we need to seriously consider if we are to address the scale of the problem we face," said Kevin Anderson, Director of the Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research.

The recommendation came after Anderson concluded that no other method could secure the decrease in carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gas emissions needed to prevent temperatures from rising to dangerous levels.

What Did the US and Britain Know Prior to the July 7 London Bombings?

The release of terrorist Mohammed Junaid Babar, due to “exceptional cooperation” beginning before his arrest, raises the question: How much prior knowledge did the US and British authorities have about the July 7, 2005, terror bombings in London?

Babar was arrested in April 2004 by the FBI and confessed to US prosecutors that he had set up a training camp in northwest Pakistan in 2003. Among those he trained was Mohammad Sidique Khan, one of the four suicide bombers who participated in the London Tube and bus bombings that killed 52 people and injured more than 750. It now appears that Babar was a long-term informant, who is being described in the press as a “super-grass”.'

The Revisionary Ground Work has Been Laid by Blair Apologists

If you had any confusion yesterday about how the Guardian was whoring to rewrite history, maybe the above will clue you in. It's from Michael White's "Curveball's confession: another dent in the Iraq conspiracy theory" (Guardian) in which the shrieking White wants you to know that his beloved Tones is innocenct and so must George W. Bush be.

In this country, there was outrage that the media wouldn't pick up on the Downing Street Memos. And, possibly because there's a lot of whoring on our left in this country, never in that outrage did your 'brave' 'leaders' point out that the Guardian was refusing to report on the Downing Street Memos. They whored for Tony. They ignored the story consistently. The Guardian is New Labour. As is Tony.

It was the Murdoch owned Times of London that broke the story on the Downing Street Memos (which revealed that war was the goal and going to happen long before the public had an inkling). It broke repeated stories on it.'

Egypt Strikes Continue Despite Warnings

Egyptian workers continue their nationwide walkouts in defiance of an order by the country's Supreme Council of the Armed Forces to end the pro-democracy protests.

Employees of the Misr Spinning and Weaving textile factory, which account for the country's largest worker population with 24,000 people, resumed their strike over low salaries and poor working conditions, a Press TV correspondent reported.

The workers have also pressed for the resignation of two top managers of the factory over alleged corruption and ignoring their demands.

FBI Memo Seeks to Confiscate Firearms from People Though Bureaucratic Red Tape and Fees

President Obama is following George Soro's advice ruling by decree if he can not get his way with the new congress. One of the issues is gun control. No anti gun bill will never make it out of committee with a Republican dominated House of Representatives. He can not outright call for ban on the people possessing firearms and tell people to turn in their guns.

The Attorney General Eric Holder issued a Memorandum to the FBI directives to carry out mandates concerning gun control. These directives are designed to make it impossible for the average person to own a firearm because of the red tape and many fees gun owners will have to pay annually. If they can not afford the fee. Judge Finds MERS Has No Right To Transfer Mortgages, Finds Entire MERS Process Illegal

There was a time when news, especially very bad news, moved stocks. The last time that occurred was in the middle of 2009, before most robots had any idea just how massive the chairsatan's schizoid break with reality was. Now, that the appropriate sociopathology is fully priced in, bad news tends to have an even more profound upside impact on stocks than good news, as it guarantees that the Zimbabwe stock market will be upon us far sooner than if the economy were to have to go through another inter-QE episode.
