What Does One TRILLION Dollars Look Like?

All this talk about "stimulus packages" and "bailouts"...

A billion dollars...

A hundred billion dollars...

Eight hundred billion dollars...

One TRILLION dollars...

What does that look like? I mean, these various numbers are tossed around like so many doggie treats, so I thought I'd take Google Sketchup out for a test drive and try to get a sense of what exactly a trillion dollars looks like.

They Have No Shame

In January, while Israel's military was pulverising Gaza for 22 days and nights and incinerating its women and children with phosphor bombs, the Liberal Democrat Party in the UK published an article by its Friends of Israel wing, entitled 'Israel has no option but to defend itself against Hamas and Iran'.

According to this, "Israel is fighting in Gaza to stop the firing of rockets at towns and cities well within Israel’s internationally recognized, pre-1967 borders. These rockets are not home-made fireworks; they are sophisticated weapons, which often kill innocent people. They are fired without precision..."

So sophisticated are the rockets, in fact, that only 1 in 400 actually kills somebody. But rockets never were the issue. There are no rockets coming out of the West Bank. Yet the illegal Israeli occupation there continues and so does the ethnic cleansing, the land theft, the illegal settlements, the colonization, the demolition of Palestinian homes, the throttling of the economy, the abduction and 'administrative detention' of civilians and the massive block on freedom of movement. There is no let-up in the oppression of West Bank Palestinians who DO NOT fire rockets, and no sign of an end to their misery.

EU Membership Costs Each Briton £2,000 a Year

The Taxpayers' Alliance figures for the cost of belonging to the EU are much higher than the narrow budget contributions reported by the Treasury.

The UK pays more than £6 billion a year in direct support for the European Commission and other EU projects.

The TPA says the real cost of EU membership is actually many times that.

The group, which argues for lower Government spending, says that the true price of being an EU member comes in the cost to British businesses in complying with European regulations, the cost of Government bureaucracy to administer those rules, and other consequences of membership like food prices inflated by farm subsidies.

The European Commission has estimated that the cost of the European project is around £188 for every person in the EU.

However, according to a Matthew Elliott, the TPA chief executive, the total cost across the EU is £495 billion or £1,968 for ever man woman and child in Europe,

Mr Elliot makes his claims in a new book, The Great European Rip-Off.

Obama To Step Up Attacks On Pakistan

Officials in contact with the State Department said on Sunday that a new offensive would see a dramatic increase in Predator drone attacks on Taliban targets in defiance of Pakistani objections to cross-border attacks.

President Barack Obama on Sunday admitted that the US military was pushing for talks with the Taliban, but officials consulted on the plans said the military conflict would be raised to new levels of intensity before talks could begin. "There will be talks but the Taliban are going to experience a lot of pain first, on both sides of the border," said one senior Western diplomat.

Motorists Face Private Fines as Details Sold by DVLA

Tens of thousands of motorists have had their details sold by the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency to private parking companies.

As a result they are being pursued for huge fines – often far more than those imposed by local authorities.

One MP told the House of Commons that the DVLA was making details available to "shady operators and crooks" who are exploiting a loophole in the law to fleece motorists.

Radio 5 Live on Common Purpose

Part Two

A typical Biased Broadcasting Corporation event, Brian Gerrish on tape with no right of comment to what was being said. Robin Ramsey the token 'Conspiracy theorist' Expert from the 'safe' lobster magazine who obviously threw in the standard bullshit about conspiracy 'Constructs' and who as a fervent critic of David Icke made sure the 'Lizard' theme was introduced to discredit the whole thing. This together with one of 'Common Purpose's trustees Andrew Cubie and a 'tame' Common purpose graduate and investigative reporting skills of a snail created the perfect template for the attempted debunking the whole issue.

Mixed Opinions of a Judge Accused of Misconduct

If Sharon Keller, the presiding judge of Texas’ highest criminal court, has ever doubted her judgment, she has not shown it.

In 1998, Judge Keller wrote the opinion rejecting a new trial for Roy Criner, a mentally retarded man convicted of rape and murder, even though DNA tests after his trial showed that it was not his semen in the victim.

“We can’t give new trials to everyone who establishes, after conviction, that they might be innocent,” she later told the television news program “Frontline.” “We would have no finality in the criminal justice system, and finality is important.”

From a Sarajevo War Survivor:Experiencing horrible things that can happen in a war - death of parents andfriends, hunger and malnutrition, endless freezing cold, fear, sniper attacks.
1. Stockpiling helps. but you never no how long trouble will last, so locate near renewable food sources.
2. Living near a well with a manual pump is like being in Eden.
3. After awhile, even gold can lose its luster. But there is no luxury in war quite like toilet paper. Its surplus value is greater than gold's.
4. If you had to go without one utility, lose electricity - it's the easiest to do without (unless you're in a very nice climate with no need for heat.)
5. Canned foods are awesome, especially if their contents are tasty without heating. One of the best things to stockpile is canned gravy - it makes a lot of the dry unappetizing things you find to eat in war somewhat edible. Only needs enough heat to "warm", not to cook. It's cheap too, especially if you buy it in bulk.
6. Bring some books - escapist ones like romance or mysteries become more valuable as the war continues. Sure, it's great to have a lot of survival guides, but you'll figure most of that out on your own anyway - trust me, you'll have a lot of time on your hands.
7. The feeling that you're human can fade pretty fast. I can't tell you how many people I knew who would have traded a much needed meal for just a little bit of toothpaste, rouge, soap or cologne. Not much point in fighting if you have to lose your humanity. These things are morale-builders like nothing else.
8. Slow burning candles and matches, matches, matches

Smart Grid: Government Spying Targets Rural America

Smart Grid is part of a global initiative to manage information, all information. This is not some dire fictional prediction; it exists right now, right here in the United States, and thanks to President Obama, the Secretary of the Treasury can lend the Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), a division of the Department of Energy, $3.25 billion to implement Smart Grid

Ostensibly, Smart Grid is about energy efficiency and climate change. This intelligent power grid gathers information about individual energy use via sensors embedded in the transmission lines and in homes and businesses. The government, via WAPA, will know what temperature you keep your home or business at. If you keep your domicile warmer or cooler than the temperature approved by the federal government, you pay more.

To some, this is an acceptable arrangement, until they discover what else Smart Grid can do.

Obama’s Biggest Radical

When Barack Obama nominated John P. Holdren as his Science Adviser last December 20, the president-elect stated “promoting science isn’t just about providing resources” but “ensuring that facts and evidence are never twisted or obscured by politics or ideology.” In nominating John Holdren, his words could scarcely have taken a more Orwellian ring.

Some critics have noted Holdren’s penchant for making apocalyptic predictions that never come to pass, and categorizing all criticism of his alarmist views as not only wrong but dangerous.

What none has yet noted is that Holdren is a globalist who has endorsed “surrender of sovereignty” to “a comprehensive Planetary Regime” that would control all the world’s resources, direct global redistribution of wealth, oversee the “de-development” of the West, control a World Army and taxation regime, and enforce world population limits.

He has castigated the United States as “the meanest of wealthy countries,” written a justification of compulsory abortion for American women, advocated drastically lowering the U.S. standard of living, and left the door open to trying global warming “deniers” for crimes against humanity.

Such is Barack Obama’s idea of a clear-headed adviser on matters of scientific policy.

Climate 'Denial' is Now a Mental Disorder

How odd that, last Monday, none of our media global warming groupies should have bothered to report what was billed to be "the largest ever demonstration for civil disobedience over climate change". There was talk of hundreds of thousands of protestors converging on Washington to hear Jim Hansen, the scientist who talks of coal-fired power stations as "factories of death", call yet again for all coal plants to be closed. Perhaps the lack of coverage was due to the fact that, before Hansen arrived to address a forlorn group of several hundred hippies, Washington was blanketed in nearly a foot of snow.

Jesse Jackson Jr. Seeks To Insert Communism In The U.S. Constitution

Jesse Jackson Jr. has proposed several Constitutional amendments which state that we have the right to full employment, a clean environment, high quality health care, high quality education and safe housing.

These amendments are just meant to make all the brainwashed sheep out there feel good because the government cannot guarantee full employment, a clean environment, high quality health care, high quality education and safe housing for all.

These proposed amendments sound like something that would be written by Karl Marx or a politician in the old Soviet Union.

These are some of the dumbest proposed Constitutional amendments ever in the history of this country, and Jackson should be removed from office just based on the stupidity of these proposals.

Government doesn’t grant rights, and certainly nobody has a right to any of these things that Jackson is proposing. People are given inalienable rights to be free when they are born and they cannot be granted or given by any politician or government institution.

In the midst of an economic crisis that’s getting scarier by the day, it’s time to ask whether the nation can really afford some 1,000 military bases overseas. HR 875 The Food Police, Criminalizing Organic Farming and the Backyard Gardener

I have no doubt that this legislation was heavily influenced by lobbyists from huge food producers. This legislation is so broad based that technically someone with a little backyard garden could get fined and have their property siezed. It will effect anyone who produces food even if they do not sell but only consume it. It will literally put all independent farmers and food producers out of business due to the huge amounts of money it will take to conform to factory farming methods.

If people choose to farm without industry standards such as chemical pesticides and fertilizers they will be subject to a vareity of harassment from this completely new agency that has never before existed. That's right, a whole new government agency is being created just to police food, for our own protection of course.

Trillions Have Disappeared Into The Ether

Recently, a public radio host sponsored an economics professor from MIT. Since he was the former chief economist for the World Bank, you know that he was an Illuminist mouthpiece, a disinformation specialist for the powers of darkness. He was asked where all the money went that has been lost by the tens of trillions in various asset classes such as real estate and the stock market. He was asked if it just disappeared into the ether, and he said basically that this is in fact what happened, like there were no winners, but only losers as the values of assets plummeted. He does not want you to know about where all the money really went.

But we'll be more than glad to tell you where it all went, and that is into the private bank accounts of the executives and employees of Illuminist banks, investment banks and brokerage houses around the world from profits generated by flimflam investment sales, commissions, fees, spreads and government bailout money, all of which was paid out in the form of salaries, bonuses and dividends.

The money represented by these trillions in losses that supposedly disappeared into the ether were also paid to insider shareholders like Angelo Mozillo, who bailed out of their stocks leaving the remaining sucker-dupe shareholders holding the bag, to the shareholders of large financial companies and business corporations that took the form of corporate outlays for dividends and stock buy-backs that should never have been paid because their toxic waste holdings rendered their companies bankrupt, as well as to the sovereign wealth funds of foreign dollar surplus reserve nations who are in alignment with the Illuminati and whose potential "losses" on fraudulent derivatives, which they overpaid for by the trillions (when they are finally marked-to-market), have been backed by the US taxpayers, who are now having all these losses shoved up their collective derrieres.

Can You Survive Economic Crisis?

To some, the term "survivalist" conjures images of camouflage-clad men stockpiling freeze-dried food in a mountain cabin, but in the current economic crisis, the people quietly preparing to survive catastrophe may just be your next-door neighbors.

In his column in last month's Financial Times, business and technology expert Ade McCormack writes, "The world is in crisis and with it the world of business. Many of us have two plans. Plan A involves President Barack Obama performing some economic magic. Plan B involves a revolver, a vegetable patch and a subscription to Survivalist Monthly."

And while McCormack was writing with a hint of jest, dissent over the president's trillion-dollar spending approach to the economy has left many average, everyday Americans considering something looking suspiciously like plan B.

Obama Is Addicted to the Teleprompter

Barack Obama may soon be known as the Teleprompter President as his dependence on his teleprompters get more notice every day. He goes nowhere without them and is not usually seen speaking without their help.

It has become obvious that he cannot go beyond the scripted words without a good deal of stuttering, causing a fresh wave of criticism of the president who cannot speak off the cuff.

Israeli Warplanes Await S-300 Sale to Iran

As Iran's quest to obtain the sophisticated Russian-made anti-aircraft missile system S-300 continues to spark controversy, a new "Presidential Task Force" report on Iran by the Washington Institute for Near East Policy warns about the consequences of Iran acquiring the weapon. The report says the potential transfer of the S-300 systems to Iran "gives rise to the grave risk that Israel could feel compelled to act before the cost of doing so is too high." The bi-partisan authors of the document, titled, "Preventing a Cascade of Instability," propose that the US "should promptly provide Israel with the capabilities -- modern aircraft -- to continue to threaten high-value Iranian targets" once Russia starts the S-300 delivery.
