Police State USA: College Students Charged With Felony Crimes for Throwing Snowballs

Felony snowball throwing charges have been leveled against two Virginia college students for allegedly pelting a city plow and an undercover police car during Saturday's blizzard. Charles Gill and Ryan Knight, both 21, were nabbed by cops in Harrisonburg, where they attend James Madison University.

If convicted of the felonious snowball tossing, the men each face between one and five years in prison, and a maximum $2,500 fine.'

In Its Mania For Jailing People, Britain Has Declared Trivial Offences Crimes

I have a foolproof scheme for cutting crime in Britain. It would slash court overcrowding, rescue legal aid, empty prisons and calm public fears. It would save billions of pounds, and all without endangering a hair on a single Briton's head. The scheme involves removing thousands of recently "invented" offences from the statute book.

This will not happen, because if there is one thing a macho politician loves, it is declaring any social problem or public disobedience a crime, and hiring more police to confront it. Constantly extending criminality enables prime ministers and home secretaries to walk tall down Main Street, pistols twirling in their fingers, and with no care for who gets hurt.'

Mother Arrested For Failing To Take Child to the Dentist

A US mother has been arrested on a charge of child neglect after authorities say she did not seek dental care for her child who showed advanced tooth decay.

Police say Tamika White, 19, from Palmetto, South Carolina, did not obtain dental care for her daughter who suffers from a severe condition of infant tooth decay, reports www.bradenton.com.

White's mother became concerned when she saw her granddaughter's teeth and after the infant complained of tooth pain. The child's age was not released.

Police reports say White took her daughter to a dentist at the Lawton Chiles Children & Family Health Care Center and the dentist referred her to a specialist due to the child's advanced tooth decay.

White told police she did not take her child to the specialist because the dentist did not take Medicaid.

White was arrested Wednesday on a child neglect warrant after police said she failed to return to the dentist for care or look for another specialist who accepts Medicaid, the police report said. White was being held in the Manatee County jail without bond.

MPs Fear BNP May Take Control Of Police

The Government is facing a Labour rebellion over plans that could lead to British National Party members holding positions of power over policing.
As police forces scour the leaked BNP membership list to weed out serving officers, the Home Office will publish proposals next week for elections to police authorities in which the far-right party is confident of winning seats.

Note Sir Jeremy Beechams (leader of the Labour councillors stasi) saying

"Sir Jeremy Beecham, the leader of Labour’s 5,000 local councillors, told The Times that the prospect of extremists influencing policing was chilling. He said: “People will run on ‘fear of crime’ tickets – the process is open to populism. The BNP is one concern but there will be other single-issue groups running on platforms that exaggerate crime and fear. These elections would inevitably attract lower turnouts and less attention, making the electoral test much easier for the BNP and their ilk.”

And just 'who is their ilk ' Mr. Beecham you mean anyone elected by the public who is not a member of the corrupt 2 party system??

when he uses the term 'the process is open to populism' that really gives his motives away!

The Big Switch-off: A Fifth Of Councils Axe Road Lights To Cut Bills

One in five councils is switching off street lights at night, leaving hundreds of thousands of residents with blacked-out roads.
Nine out of 49 county councils in England and Wales have made the move, a Daily Mail investigation has found.
Dozens more are expected to follow to save money. But residents in areas affected by the Government-backed initiative say they have been left at risk from serious road accidents, crime and vandalism.

Downturn in Economy 'Will Fuel Surge in Crime'

The UK's economic downturn will result in more crime and illegal immigration, along with a rise in extremism, according to a leaked Government document.
The Home Office is due to deliver the stark assessment to Prime Minister Gordon Brown amid fears that Britain is heading for recession.
The briefing, which sets out the potential for an increase in violent offences due to the credit crunch and soaring food prices, also suggests terrorism could be fanned.
It also indicates there will be "increased public hostility to migrants" as competition for jobs stiffens and people question the financial assistance they receive.
The letter states: "There is a risk of a downturn increasing the appeal of far-right extremism and racism, which presents a threat as there is evidence that grievances based on experiencing racism are one of the factors that can lead to people becoming terrorists."
Ok, here we go.
Watch out now for an orchestrated series of attacks on immigrants, knife crime increases, terrorist cells discovered.
This will then allow the government to justify what is coming!
And they have the audacity to tell us what they are preparing, knowing that the sheeple won't see it for what it is.

Couple Who Phoned Police After Burglary were Sent Text Message Asking THEM to Investigate The Crime

A couple who dialled 999 to report a burglary were stunned when police replied an hour later with a text message asking them to investigate the raid.
Lloyd and Suzanne Bishop phoned the police at 5am after spotting a burglar smash a padlock at a neighbouring shed and escape over a fence.
But instead of dispatching officers to investigate, police sent a text at 6am asking them to establish what had been stolen.
It read: 'Lloyd. Following on from your call earlier on to the police, please can you contact us if you are able to establish what has been stolen and where from?
'At this time we're struggling to get the police to attend general calls for service, many thanks.'
