The Occult Roots of The Wizard of Oz


With its memorable story and its cast of colorful characters, the Wizard of Oz became quickly an American classic. More than a hundred years after the release of this book, kids everywhere are still enchanted by Oz’s world of wonder. Very however recognize that, under its deceptive simplicity, the story of the Wizard of Oz conceals deep esoteric truths inspired by Theosophy. We’ll look at the Wizard of Oz’s occult meaning and its author’s background.

  1. Very interesting it does conceal some hidden truths deceptively downunder too...Ha.

    lt only became clear some months ago while watching this movie on DVD how 6 of the characters in the land called OZ,
    l can either identify with or actually have come into contact with 'symbolically' here on the pavements of a town l dub 'Kansastown' in a land thats nicknamed OZ.
    A certain Professor l've known since 1976 played a role in the background during the experience l was to undergo in the joint l call the 'House of Attitudes'.

    Some of the lines spoken in the movie are uncanny also, it truely bizarre in my mind
    and l'm quite sane too...Ha.
    At the end of the story S.Harps wakes up in
    'Kansastown', yeah still friggin' waiting!!
    in this version...Ha.
