The United States Army has contracted an Israeli defense industry giant to perform the maintenance work and upgrading of parts for its Apache and Black Hawk helicopters.
The five-year deal was signed with Israel's TAT Technologies with which the US military has had decades of close dealings, UPI reported on Monday.
The Army has placed a USD 4.3 million purchase order with the company and the contract's value may reach USD 20 million over its course.'
