California Gripped by Radiation Fears

RFID Chip: Foundation of the Electronic Jail

A step toward chipping man too, seems finally made; Advert Buddi is a new GPS tracking system that can be used, for example, to monitor your old mother and to intervene quickly in emergencies. Under the slogan “Protect your loved ones with Buddi.” The ‘buddy’ in this case is a device that in a purse can indicate grandma’s position. Something like a mobile phone nowadays can also reveal where you are (or were).

It also warns Grandma’s loved ones when grandmothers go out of their “security zones”. And to top it all off, it gives a signal as the carrier of the buddy has fallen, probably by a sensor that triggers at a certain speed (to earth in this case). Sounds great, but we know what the next step is, subcutaneous injection of a chip. Because grandma is a little forgetful and sometimes forgets her purse. “Let’s just inject a chip in grandma’s front leg!.” We can already predict the next victims: children, prisoners … and ourselves.'

EU Parliament Security Firm Also Provides Services to Israeli Settlements

The security company that services the European Parliament also provides security to Israeli checkpoints and settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories, it can be revealed.

Anglo-Danish outfit G4S, the world's largest security firm, has for days now been at the centre of a storm of criticism from politicians in Denmark, including the interior minister, after the company's activities in the Middle East became widely known.

The firm has provided equipment for Israel in the West Bank and Gaza, including scanning machines at the Bethelehem and Qalandiya checkpoints, and also delivered a security system to settlement police near the colony of Ma'ale Adumim.'

Hypocritical EU Unlikely to Call on Bahrain Regime to Step Down

An escalation in the government crack-down on pro-democracy protesters in Bahrain and the incursion of 1000 Saudi troops on the island, has spooked European capitals, which had not expected the tiny but geostrategically important state to be destabilised in the wake of the ongoing regional uprisings.

The EU is treating the explosive situation gingerly, with officials saying privately that the bloc is not about to call for the leader, King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, to step down as they did in Egypt and have done in Libya.'

Paris to Complete Giant Pyramid Building in 2016

The Mayor of Paris Bertrand Delanoë and the group Unibail announced the construction of Triangle – a 492 feet pyramidal building to be located in the South of Paris.

Interesting fact, the mayor of Paris Bertrand Delanoë was (and might still be) a member of the Masonic order of the Grand Orient de France. He therefore surely understands the symbolism of such a building.'

Afghan Civilian Killer Obama Warns Gaddafi Not To Harm Civilians

U.S. President Barack Obama is warning Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi that his forces must stop attacking innocent civilians or face military action.

'Radiation is Good for You,' Says Ann Coulter as She Weighs in on Japan's Nuclear Crisis

Conservative maverick Ann Coulter has poured scorn on growing fears over the fallout from Japan’s nuclear crisis by claiming that ‘radiation is good for you.’

With her bizarre outburst, Coulter became the latest celebrity to cause a stir over controversial remarks on the disaster in Japan.

The right wing commentator was attempting to quell concern that a radiation plume was due to hit America’s West Coast today after travelling 5,000 miles across the Pacific Ocean from the damaged reactor at Fukishima.

There is a growing body of evidence that radiation in excess of what the government says are the minimum amounts we should be exposed to are actually good for you and reduce cases of cancer,’ she told Fox News TV host Bill O’Reilly.'

The F-35: A Weapon That Costs More Than Australia

The F-35 is designed to be the core tactical fighter aircraft for the U.S. military, with three versions for the Air Force, Navy, and the Marine Corps. Each plane clocks in at around $90 million.

In a decade's time, the United States plans to have 15 times as many modern fighters as China, and 20 times as many as Russia. So, how many F-35s do we need?

Washington intends to buy 2,443, at a price tag of $382 billion.

Add in the $650 billion that the Government Accountability Office estimates is needed to operate and maintain the aircraft, and the total cost reaches a staggering $1 trillion.

In other words, we're spending more on this plane than Australia's entire GDP ($924 billion).'

Israeli Security Firm in Charge at Japanese Nuke Facilities Prior to Disaster

To all those who scoffed at my questioning whether or not the present nuclear meltdown taking place at Japan’s nuke facility might have been part of an Israeli intel operation aimed at demonstrating the power of Israel’s stuxnet computer virus, Haaretz is now reporting that it was the Israeli security firm Magna that was providing security for the plant prior to the incident.'

Illinois Seeks to Seize Prisoner's Wages

Kensley Hawkins is a deadbeat, according to the state of Illinois.

He owes $455,203.14 to cover the costs of his stay at the Stateville Correctional Center in Joliet. Hawkins has been in prison since Nov. 19, 1982. His jailer is also his debt collector.

Hawkins is fighting in court to stop the state from seizing about $11,000 in his bank account to partially satisfy the debt. The 60-year-old earned the money by working while he's been behind bars, making about $75 a month.'

House Rejects Quick Drawdown from Afghanistan

The House overwhelmingly rejected a resolution calling for the withdrawal of U.S. forces from Afghanistan by year’s end as Republicans and Democrats joined together in embracing President Obama’s long-term war strategy.

The vote was 321-93 with one member voting present, a show of bipartisanship on national security and a referendum on the president’s policy after last year’s troop buildup.

“We need to stand with our commander in chief. We need to stand with our troops and complete this task,” Republican Rep. Chris Gibson of New York, a freshman who did four Army combat tours in Iraq, said during the forceful debate.'

France Arrests pro-Palestinians for Anti-Israel Campaign

Mainstream Media Halts Accurate Reporting on Japan's Worsening Nuclear Catastrophe; Disinfo Campaign Now Underway

Almost as if on cue, the mainstream media today halted nearly all accurate reporting of the worsening situation in Japan, writing off the whole thing as a "non issue." This all happened in a seeming coordinate effort following President Obama's speech on Wednesday that urged Americans to NOT prepare for anything. The American people, Obama insisted, should simply watch television to "stay informed."

Shortly after, mainstream television news returned to its regularly-scheduled sports and entertainment programming, barely touching on the reality of the worsening situation at the Fukushima nuclear power plant in Japan.'

Japan Earthquake: The Exodus of Tokyo

Among those scrambling to leave Tokyo were foreign bankers, some of whom fled by private jet. Operators were inundated with requests for luxury escape flights to Hong Kong, Singapore and Seoul. "I got a request yesterday to fly 14 people from Tokyo to Hong Kong," said Jackie Wu, who runs Hong Kong Jet. "They did not care about price." The cost was more than $160,000.

Asked who was fleeing, one European investment banker said: "Who isn't? Everyone is trying to get out. Wouldn't you?"'

US Confirms Miltary Evacuation from Japan

Massive UFO Event in Russia: Crashed Flying Saucer?

A UFO event of Roswell proportions has taken place in Russia and is being ignored by Western media. On March 1 in the Irkutsk region of Siberia, a huge object, glowing pink and blue according to some accounts, was seen by thousands of locals as it hurtled towards Earth. An enormous explosion was then heard over a wide area. Curious and frightened residents inundated various police and rescue departments with phone calls. The military soon confirmed that it had not been doing any exercises in the area and therefore cannot be responsible for any reports of UFOs.

One villager, Mr Sergei Ivanov, described what he saw: "It did not look like an aircraft, more like a UFO or some other unexplained object".

Soon a large array of officials inundated the area: Army chiefs, Air Defense personnel, Ministry of Defense officials, heads of police, Emergency Ministry staff, geophysicists, avionics experts and members of the secret service.

These officials made their way towards site of the alleged crash, declared the event classified and announced to the media that the specific area of impact would not be revealed.'

California Nuclear Plants Have No Earthquake Plans

In California the Diablo Canyon nuclear plant has continually been cited as earthquake prone, yet no emergency plan exists in the case of a quake. The plant, built over a quarter century ago, sits less than a mile from a fault line along the coast. Not only does the plant merely not have a plan in place, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission fought against requiring such a plan.

Additionally, the subject has even been heard in US courts. In the 1980’s the U.S. Court of Appeals in Washington, DC ruled 5-4 that there was no legal or public safety reason require plants formulate earthquake disaster plans.'

Georgia: Ready for Peaceful Revolution

Nino Burjanadze, former parliamentary speaker and leader of opposition Democratic Movement-United Georgia party, told an indoor rally of People's Assembly on March 15, that a peaceful revolution was needed and the Assembly was ready for that.

“We need a large number of people for one reason – to force these authorities to go peacefully, without blood. Yes, this country today, unfortunately, needs a revolution and if no other way is left, we are ready for it [revolution], of course, through peaceful means,” Burjanadze said.

“We are not going to raise our hands even against those compatriots, who committed crime, but if someone dares to raise a hand against us, they will receive a fierce response,” she said and called on police and army to “serve the country and people and not the authorities".'

Dylan Ratigan: Rescue Choppers Or Corporate Jets? The Biggest Fraud Of All

And in all the footage of people being saved, I haven't seen one mega-bank rescue anyone. I saw help from a lot of volunteers, firemen, rescue workers, doctors, nurses, etc. But not one bank. And that was true during snowstorms in North Dakota, the floods in New Orleans, and the earthquake in Haiti. Oddly, though the banks are sucking up enormous amounts of our budgetary resources, they don't own rescue helicopters, they don't track earthquakes, they don't study tsunamis, and they don't deal with radiation poisoning.

According to Simon Johnson, roughly 40% of the increase in privately held government debt over the past few years is due to the financial crisis caused by these mega-banks. Yet, the Federal budget debate is centered on slashing spending on things that we actually need, things that, when a crisis happens, saves our lives.'

U.S. Debt Jumped $72 Billion Same Day U.S. House Voted to Cut Spending $6 Billion

The national debt jumped by $72 billion on Tuesday even as the Republican-led U.S. House of Representatives passed a continuing resolution to fund the government for just three weeks that will cut $6 billion from government spending.

If Congress were to cut $6 billion every three weeks for the next 36 weeks, it would manage to save between now and late November as much money as the Treasury added to the nation’s net debt during just the business hours of Tuesday, March 15.'

'US Move on Bahrain to Secure Israel'

US Defense Secretary Robert Gates (R) is greeted by Bahrain's Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad al-Khalifa as he arrives for a meeting at Al-Zahar Palace in Manama Saturday, March 12, 2011.

The US has asked Saudi Arabia to intervene in Bahrain as such a move would benefit Israel and other unpopular regimes in the Middle East, says a former US Senate contender.

“I think... there was an agreement between [US Defense Secretary Robert] Gates and the Saudi regime that they would carry this out either at the behest of the United States or the bare minimum with a green light from the United States to proceed,” Mark Dankof told Press TV on Thursday.

Dankof said that the American foreign policy in the Middle East was ultimately about three things, namely "supporting Israel at all costs; supporting international central banking interests at all costs... and then of course, the natural gas and oil consortiums".'

Pro-Union Protesters Demonstrate In DC

Obama Tells Americans: Do NOT Prepare for Radioactive Fallout, Just Listen to Your Government

In a truly incredible example of the complete disregard for the health and safety of the American people, President Obama today told Americans that they should NOT prepare for radiation from the possible meltdown of the Fukushima nuclear power plant in Japan. His exact quote: "The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and public health experts do not recommend people in the U.S. take precautionary measures beyond staying informed."

In other words, Americans should do nothing other than listen to their government. Don't buy potassium iodide pills (even though the U.S. Surgeon General has already urged people to do so), don't fuel up your automobiles in case you need to evacuate California, don't store some extra food and water... basically, don't worry! There's no problem! Obama says so!'

MOX Plutonium Fuel Used in Fukushima's Unit 3 Reactor Two Million Times More Deadly Than Enriched Uranium

Largely absent from most mainstream media reports on the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster is the fact that a highly-dangerous "mixed-oxide" (MOX) fuel in present in six percent of the fuel rods at the plant's Unit 3 reactor. Why is MOX a big deal? According to the Nuclear Information Resource Center (NIRS), this plutonium-uranium fuel mixture is far more dangerous than typical enriched uranium -- a single milligram (mg) of MOX is as deadly as 2,000,000 mg of normal enriched uranium.

On March 14, Unit 3 of the Fukushima reactor exploded, sending a huge smoke plume into the air. This particular reactor, of course, contains the rods fueled with MOX.'

The Peacenik's Payback: Obama Slaughters Pakistani Civilians to Revenge CIA Embarrassment

Another day, another two dozen human beings blown to bits in a marketplace by the Nobel Peace Prize Laureate. What was the occasion for this new bonanza of carnage? It was a release of pent-up fury at Pakistan for embarrassing the Potomac Poobah by actually arresting one of his hired guns for shooting people in the back in the street in broad daylight.

For weeks, Washington wiggled around in twisted knickers as the Pakistanis put CIA goon-squader Raymond Davis through the horrible, evil process of ... er ... Western jurisprudence, which Pakistan inherited from colonial times. They arrested Davis, charged him with a crime, allowed him to procure defense counsel and then instigated a series of open court proceedings leading to a trial. This was simply unbearable, insupportable, to the Universal Defenders of Human Rights and the Rule of Law who hold such benevolent sway in the American capital.'

'US Opposes Democracy in Arab World'

The US does not desire any form of democracy in the Arab world and only favors a kind of democracy that it can control, says Chairman of the Committee against Torture in Bahrain.

“For all their talk about democracy, they (the US) support the cold, torturing, oppressive regimes around this world,” Rodney Shakespeare told Press TV on Wednesday.

Shakespeare also described Wednesday's attacks by Bahraini riot police and Saudi forces on pro-democracy demonstrators in Bahrain as a “deliberate, organized, large-scale massacre of unarmed people".'

UNSC Orders No-Fly Zone Over Libya

The United Nations Security Council has passed a resolution ordering a no-fly zone over Libya, while suspending the country from the Human Rights Council.

UN Slams Bahrain's Attack on Hospitals

The United Nations rights chief has denounced the Bahraini government's commandeering of the country's hospitals amid the killing and injuring of protesters by security forces.

"There are reports of arbitrary arrests, killings, beatings of protesters and of medical personnel, and of the takeover of hospitals and medical centers by various security forces,” said the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay on Thursday, AFP reported.

She added, "Governments are obliged to protect the rights to life and health of the people, but we are hearing very credible reports indicating that they are in fact obstructing access to such rights."

"This is shocking and illegal conduct," she emphasized.'

Tories 'Want Muslims Out of London', Says Shadow Minister

A Labour shadow minister was last night facing calls for her dismissal after she was recorded saying that the Government "don't want Muslims living in central London". In an extraordinary attack, Karen Buck – Shadow Work and Pensions Minister – also said that ministers were "deeply hostile" to poor people having children. Last night the Conservative Party Chairman Baroness Warsi said the remarks were "deeply offensive" and called on Ed Miliband to remove her from Labour's frontbench.

Ms Buck's comments were made at a public meeting in Islington. Sharing a platform with local MPs, Ms Buck suggested that planned cuts to housing benefit were politically motivated to force poor, ethnic minority and Muslim families out of the centre of London.'

Obama Plays While Japan Begs for Help

History tells us that Nero fiddled while Rome burned, but Barack Obama is providing the famous emperor with some serious competition when it comes to going AWOL while America and the world face crises the likes of which haven’t been experienced in decades.

Even as the situation at the stricken Fukushima nuclear plant continues to worsen by the hour, and as radiation surges across the Pacific towards the U.S. west coast while Americans panic buy supplies of potassium iodide, President Obama seems remarkably sanguine about the whole affair.

While protests and civil wars rage in Libya and Bahrain, Obama is keeping himself busy by videotaping his NCAA tournament picks, hitting the golf course for the 61st time in his presidency, and partying with lawmakers during a Chicago Bulls vs. Charlotte Bobcats game.'

But lawyers bringing claims say they open up social work to proper scrutiny and can put right past injustices.'

Egypt's ElBaradei: Con-man in Chief?

Mohamed ElBaradei has recently announced he will be running for president in a move that should surprise no one. For nearly a year the corporate owned media has been building up ElBaradei, portraying him as the great hope for Egypt. Foreign Affairs magazine, in March 2010, literally printed an article titled, "Is ElBaradei Egypt's Hero?"

With Mubarak now out of office the corporate owned media circus has left town, but the globalist take-over in Egypt is just warming up. US International Crisis Group trustee Mohamed ElBaradei has spent over a year prying his way into Egyptian politics, landing in Cairo not at the beginning of the recent unrest, but all the way back in February 2010. He was met by the US State Department trained and supported April 6 Youth Movement and Google executive Wael Ghonim. Over the next year they campaigned together for the November 2010 elections, built up the "National Front for Change," and prepared for the protests the globalists had been designing since at least 2008.'

Top US Officials: Japan Nuclear Reactor #4 Completely Breached, In Full Meltdown, Releasing Lethal Radiation – US Expands Evacuation Area To 50 Miles

Top US officials have testified before congress today that situation in Japan has a reached a catastrophe of proportions on par with Chernobyl. Both the Secretary of Energy Steven Chu and Gregory B. Jaczko, the chairman of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission gave dire testimony before the The House Energy and Commerce committee.

At this point both the primary and secondary containment vessels at the Fukushima nuclear reactor #4 are breached. To make matters worse radiation readings taken by the US indicate that the cooling pond is empty indicating which means the fuel rods are in a state of complete meltdown with no cooling to counteract the meltdown in progress.'

Fukushima: Mark 1 Nuclear Reactor Design Caused GE Scientist To Quit In Protest

Thirty-five years ago, Dale G. Bridenbaugh and two of his colleagues at General Electric resigned from their jobs after becoming increasingly convinced that the nuclear reactor design they were reviewing -- the Mark 1 -- was so flawed it could lead to a devastating accident.

Questions persisted for decades about the ability of the Mark 1 to handle the immense pressures that would result if the reactor lost cooling power, and today that design is being put to the ultimate test in Japan. Five of the six reactors at the Fukushima Daiichi plant, which has been wracked since Friday's earthquake with explosions and radiation leaks, are Mark 1s.'

Class Warfare, the Final Chapter

Finally, it is our right and our duty to replace the corrupted government with one that works for the public welfare, ensuring that the wealthy elite never again endanger all life on this planet or destroy our collective humanity. We are "endowed by our Creator with certain unalienable rights ... among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness." We must recognize our government has become destructive of those ends and reform it. The Declaration of Independence goes on to say, "mankind are more disposed to suffer while evils are sufferable than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuse and usurpations ... reduce them under absolute despotism... " we must then accomplish wholesale change. Have you suffered enough, or do you want more?'

US Backed Yemen Forces Kill Five Schoolgirls

Yemeni security forces have shot and killed five schoolgirls in the country's southwest as protesters continue their bid to oust President Ali Abdullah Saleh.

The incident occurred on Wednesday in Taiz, 200 km (125 miles) south of capital Sana'a. Several female students were also injured when Saleh loyalists pelted them with stones to prevent them from joining anti-government rallies, a Press TV correspondent reported.

Earlier in the day, Yemeni forces killed an anti-government protester and injured 200 others in the Red Sea city of al-Hudaydah where pro-government forces resorted to live and rubber bullets, tear gas, clubs and daggers to disperse protests, medics said.'

Pakistanis Condemn CIA Agent Release

Pakistani people have staged street protests to voice their outrage at the release of a CIA contractor charged with killing two men in Lahore.

Anti-US demonstrations broke out on Wednesday in the capital, Islamabad, and similar protests were held in the major cities of Karachi, Lahore and Peshawar.

In Lahore, baton-wielding police forces tried to disperse the demonstrators who had gathered in front of the US consulate, injuring several protesters.

Orwellian Double Speak as EU Dictatorship Criticises Bulgaria for Non-Compliance With GMO Safety Legislation Despite a Complete Ban on GMO Cultivation!

How could they be any safer than that?

The fact is that this is simply a threat through the corrupt legislative forum disguised as the European Court of Justice to force Bulgaria to grow these dangerous substitutes for real food by means of economic terrorism on behalf of corporations such as Monsanto who have the EU in their back pockets with no shortage of financial slush funds to bribe politicians and legislators in a country well versed in corruption.'

Japan's Nightmare Gets Even WORSE: All THREE Damaged Nuclear Reactors Now in 'Meltdown' at Tsunami-Hit Power Station

The Japanese nuclear reactor hit by the tsunami went into 'meltdown' today, as officials admitted that fuel rods appear to be melting inside three damaged reactors.

There is a risk that molten nuclear fuel can melt through the reactor's safety barriers and cause a serious radiation leak.

There have already been explosions inside two over-heating reactors at the Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear plant, and the fuel rods inside a third were partially exposed as engineers desperately fight to keep them cool after the tsunami knocked out systems.'

The officers are then alleged to have discussed how to arrest the man and are believed to have concocted a story in which they claimed the man had threatened to cause criminal damage to a nearby building.

However one of the officers was wearing sound recording equipment which recorded the chase and arrest of the man and the subsequent conversation between the officers.'

The Idiocy and Hubris of Engineers: Will GE Get Whacked for the Catastrophic Failure of its Nuke Plants in Fukushima?

GE, the company that boasts that it "brings good things to life," was the designer of the nuclear plants that are blowing up like hot popcorn kernels at the Fukushima Dai-ichi generating plant north of Tokyo that was hit by the double-whammy of an 8.9 earthquake and a huge tsunami.

The company may escape tens or hundreds of billions of dollars in liability from this continuing disaster, which could still result in a catastrophic total meltdown of one or more of the reactors (as of this writing three of the reactors are reported to have suffered partial meltdowns, and all could potentially become more serious total meltdowns with a rupture of the reactor container), thanks to Japanese law, which makes the operator--in this case Tokyo Electric Power Co. (TEPCO) liable. But if it were found that it was design flaws by GE that caused the problem, presumably TEPCO or the Japanese government could pursue GE for damages.'
