The Home Office is looking for "beacon areas" to further trial the cards from autumn this year. The tech is already on trial at two airports - despite the protests from Balpa - and foreign residents have been guinea-pigging the cards since late last year.
Wacky Jacqui, with the help of the BBC, claimed in November that "people can't wait for ID cards". Talking about general availability of cards in 2012 she said: "I regularly have people coming up to me and saying they don't want to wait that long."
Our Jacqui visited pupils at a school in Wythenshawe, and: "Together they discussed how identity cards will help young people strike out on their own by opening their first bank account, renting their first flat, or perhaps travelling to Europe for the first time." The lovely Home Secretary and the shell-suited scrotes of southern Manchester - a heartwarming image for a Friday morning.
She said the scales were falling from people's eyes as they saw the "real benefits for citizens... That is why we have brought forward our plans and this year will begin offering identity cards on a voluntary basis, giving British nationals the chance to access the benefits of identity cards as soon as possible."
Testifying before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee on Wednesday with yet another one of his infamous slide shows, Gore observed that the carbon dioxide (CO2) in Venus’ atmosphere supercharges the second-planet-from-the-sun’s greenhouse effect, resulting in surface temperatures of about 870 degrees Fahrenheit. Gore added that it’s not Venus’ proximity to the Sun that makes the planet much warmer than the Earth, because Mercury, which is even closer to the Sun, is cooler than Venus. Based on this rationale, then, Gore warned that we need to stop emitting CO2 into our own atmosphere.
credible and accessible information at the ready to contend with legal actions brought by Palestinian residents, human rights organizations and leftist movements challenging the legality of construction in the settlements and the use of private lands to establish or expand them.
The article adds, "the painstakingly amassed data was labeled political dynamite."
Well the dynamite has exploded.
According to the president of GM Brazil-Mercosur, Jaime Ardila, the funding will come from the package of financial aid that the manufacturer will receive from the U.S. government and will be used to "complete the renovation of the line of products up to 2012."
And now they wan even more of your taxpaye dollars , probably to invest in Israel or china!
When will you WAKE UP!
He added that the shells fired by tanks, artillery, gunboats, and infantry were not included in those fired by the air force. After a whole week of continuous air bombardments Israel sent in its elite foot soldiers; 30,000 of them, and called in 10,000 of its reservists. Armed with the latest weapons of mass murder, covered with an umbrella of free reigning air force, and accompanied with raining shells of heavy artilleries, they drove their tanks into the civilian towns murdering civilians and destroying every structure in their path.
The Israeli spokesman, Nachman Abramovic demonized Palestinian children stating "They may look young to you, but these people are terrorists at heart. Don’t look at their deceptively innocent faces, try to think of the demons inside each of them … I am absolutely certain these people would grow to be evil terrorists if we allowed them to grow… would you allow them to grow to kill your children or finish them off right now? … honost and moral people ought to differentiate between true humans and human animals. We do kill human animals and we do so unapologetically. Besides who in the West is in a position to lecture us on killing human animals. After all, whose hands are clean?"
Human animal mentioned by Abramovic refers to the Judaic religious belief that Jews are Gods chosen people; the elite and the pure-blooded, while all others (non-Jews, Goyims, gentiles) are animal souls incarnated into human bodies to serve the Jews. Killing a human animal is just a sport like hunting deer or birds.
Another Israeli spokeswoman, Tzipora Menache, stated that she was not worried about negative ramifications the Israeli onslaught on Gaza might have on the way the Obama administration would view Israel. She said "You know very well, and the stupid Americans know equally well, that we control their government, irrespective of who sits in the White House. You see, I know it and you know it that no American president can be in a position to challenge us even if we do the unthinkable. What can they (Americans) do to us? We control congress, we control the media, we control show biz, and we control everything in America. In America you can criticize God, but you can’t criticize Israel"
In all my years as General Secretary of War on Want, as Chairman of the International Broadcasting Trust, as Patron of the One World Broadcasting Trust, and as a member of the previous Educational Advisory Committee of the Independent Broadcasting Authority, I never came across such a huge political misjudgement as that made by Mark Thompson, the Director General of the BBC. He must resign or the damage to the Corporation will be cumulative and global.
Boycott all BBC goods and Services, Refuse to pay your TV Licence or better still just throw away your television and remove yourself from the Zionist controlled Mass Media crap that is on there!
Israel reportedly has plans to relocate thousands of Kurdish Jews from Israel, including expatriates from Kurdish Iran, to the Iraqi cities of Mosul and Nineveh under the guise of religious pilgrimages to ancient Jewish religious shrines. According to Kurdish sources, the Israelis are secretly working with the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) to carry out the integration of Kurdish and other Jews into areas of Iraq under control of the KRG.
Kurdish, Iraqi Sunni Muslims, and Turkmen have noted that Kurdish Israelis began to buy land in Iraqi Kurdistan, after the U.S. invasion in 2003, that is considered historical Jewish “property.”
The Israelis are particularly interested in the shrine of the Jewish prophet Nahum in al Qush, the prophet Jonah in Mosul, and the tomb of the prophet Daniel in Kirkuk. Israelis are also trying to claim Jewish “properties” outside of the Kurdish region, including the shrine of Ezekiel in the village of al-Kifl in Babel Province near Najaf and the tomb of Ezra in al-Uzayr in Misan Province, near Basra, both in southern Iraq’s Shi’a-dominated territory.
Israeli expansionists consider these shrines and tombs as much a part of “Greater Israel” as Jerusalem and the West Bank, which they call “Judea and Samaria.”
Kurdish and Iraqi sources report that Israel’s Mossad is working hand-in-hand with Israeli companies and “tourists” to stake a claim to the Jewish “properties” of Israel in Iraq.
The Mossad has already been heavily involved in training the Kurdish Pesha Merga military forces.
Reportedly assisting the Israelis are foreign mercenaries paid for by U.S. Christian evangelical circles that support the concept of “Christian Zionism.”
“Fire on anything that moves in Zeitoun” – that was the order handed down to Israeli troops in the Givati Shaked battalion, who reduced the eastern Gaza City suburb to little more than rubble in a matter of days.
According to Israeli soldiers who took part in the three-week offensive, the destruction of the area, a known Hamas stronghold, was designed to send a wider message to Gazans. “We pounded Zeitoun into the ground,” an Israeli soldier who was deployed in the area, told The Times.
The directive emphasizes, however, that volunteers be sought first for any expeditionary requirements, before requiring anyone to serve involuntarily or on short notice. Overseas duty tours shall not exceed two years.
Employees in deployable-designated positions will be trained, equipped and prepared to serve overseas in support of humanitarian, reconstruction and, if absolutely necessary, combat-support missions.
And so it begins!
Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesman Eric Chevallier said the move has sparked an outcry in the Elysée, prompting it to summon the Israeli ambassador to Paris to explain why the system was denied access.
Maybe the Iranian President was right when he didn't say that Israel should be wiiped off the face of the earth. They are a canker that needs to be cut out!
Netanyahu, the frontrunner for the parliamentary elections, insisted he would not be tied by any pledge made by outgoing Prime Minister Ehud Olmert to withdraw settlers from the occupied Palestinian territory.
"The krona is dead. We need a new currency. The only serious option is the euro," said a senior Icelandic official.
Classic Problem - Reaction - Solution, Destroy the nations economy and currency, get the country screaming and offer the solution "The Euro" and Eu Membership! Wankers!
Since the Prime Minister made his promise in September 2007, the number of migrants employed has risen sharply while the number of Britons has dropped.
The Government's own statistics show that, in the 12 months after Mr Brown's speech, the number of foreign workers rose by 175,000 as the number of British in work fell by 46,000.
We should all take a leaf out of Iceland's Book and oust the government legally and peacefully
The reply contains the argument put forth by RadicalPress.com owner and publisher Arthur Topham that this is a case of an intentional attack upon one of the last remaining alternative news network in Canada – one willing to stand up to the Zionist-controlled media and the assorted Zionist Jewish lobby groups that hold way too much influence over Canada’s Judiciaries and governments, both federally and provincially.

The action has been brought by a Aitken Brotherston, 61, a businessman from Lyme, Cheshire, who is appealing against a speeding conviction.
Michael Shrimpton, his counsel, told Manchester Crown Court that the case had wide-ranging implications.
It could mean that an estimated £600 million collected in fines and accompanying penalty points were invalid and trigger an avalanche of compensation claims from motorists.
Mr Shrimpton said a change in the 1988 Road Traffic Offenders Act in 1991 had not been properly implemented.
Until then the law that merely required the Home Secretary to approve the technical evaluation of the speed cameras. But since then additional Parliamentary approval has also been required for the devices.
Successive Home Secretaries, starting with Michael Howard in 1992, had failed to do so.
The Conservatives said the plans meant that councillors will be able to vote from home and still claim expenses of around £10,000 each.
The only commitment will be for the councillor to monitor the local chamber by phone or over the internet.
They would be able to vote by clicking a mouse on their home computer or over the phone.
Tory sources said the move could allow councillors to hold down a second job, or watch television, and then vote on important local issues.
The Treasury ran a beauty contest to choose its investment banking advisers last October. The winners, Credit Suisse and Deutsche Bank, have already pocketed more than £60 million in fees between them, according to one expert estimate.
Thomson Reuters, which compiles data on advisory fees, believes that Credit Suisse and Deutsche have earned £60.9 million from advising on the part nationalisation of Royal Bank of Scotland, HBOS and Lloyds TSB, although Credit Suisse is likely to have been paid significantly more because it has the bigger role. Not a bad return for advisers who might otherwise have been twiddling their thumbs.
The taxpayer has also paid Goldman Sachs — which advised the Treasury on the nationalisation of Northern Rock and Bradford & Bingley – tens of millions of pounds in the past year.
The banking criminals that caused this colossal debt are now skimming more off the top from your taxpayer pounds. When will you all wake up t the massive fraud that is going on around you!
It's Like putting a gang of alcoholics in charge of a brewery!
WHOLE STREETS lie in ruins, many thousands of Palestinians are homeless after weeks of Israeli bombing and foreign aid cash is piling up. As a builder in the Gaza Strip, this should be Anwar al-Sahabani’s big moment.
Instead, he sits at home, angry and sad, not just at the wounds he suffered on the first day of bombardment, but with frustration at being denied the basic supplies he needs to start rebuilding.
Israel will not let in cement, steel pipes and other materials it says its Hamas enemies might use to make war.
Today we will look at a micro issue – the disgraceful behaviour of his department over the Courts and Tribunal Enforcement Act, the law which ends 400 years of the tradition that an Englishman's home is his castle and allows bailiffs to march into that home and seize what goods they like in settlement of a fine (think ID card fines; think of the pressure people are going to experience in this recession).
The actual story shows a much different picture. Those who voted on the legal fate of this plant never had the facts, but were dependent on information supplied by those who had a specific agenda to deceive lawmakers. You'll see below that the very first federal vote to prohibit marijuana was based entirely on a documented lie on the floor of the Senate.
220 years after the French revolution, scenes somewhat reminiscent of the almost long forgotten revolts, are again visible on the streets of Paris. They appear to be pre revolutionary in their scope and political impact. The fall out from all this maybe like a horror film come true for those at the top.Unions of all sorts have mobilised in protest of what is perceived as anti social government policy of President Nicolas Sarkozy, or a final assault on what remains of the welfare state, decimated by decades of rampant and reckless ultra liberalism which has since run amok.
This has paralyzed the country by widespread strike action. From rail to air, transport has been virtually halted. Public employees and their union members fearing for the security of their jobs and anticipated state imposed reforms in the public sector have made many in French angst ridden.

Obama, in a recent interview on January 26, 2009, with the Saudi-owned Al-Arabiya TV network, reiterated the US “commitment to Israel as an ally and to its right to defend itself.”
And in her first news conference on January 27, 2009, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton stated that “America supports Israel’s right to self-defense.” Clinton added that “the rocket barrages which are getting closer and closer to populated areas in Israel cannot go unanswered.”
Bringing Israel’s ethnic cleansing policy even more up-to date, on January 26, 2009, Likud leader, Benjamin Netanyahu, promised a Tel Aviv Women’s Network Group that he would expand Israeli settlements in the West Bank if elected premier. Netanyahu said he would allow the settlements to expand to accommodate “natural growth” which he defined as referring to building new housing to accommodate growing families among the settlers.
As usual, Open Europe was keen for someone from the Commission to attend. But definitely not as usual, someone from the Commission actually did turn up: Joe Hennon, spokesman for Margot Wallstrom, the Swede who is commissioner in charge of spending all this propaganda money. Though of course Mrs Wallstrom doesn't call it propaganda. She calls it 'communications strategy.'
Whatever she calls it, you are paying for it.
Before long, those who wish to declare independence from the state system (and cannot afford monstrous private school fees) will face endless interference, monitoring and regulation. How do we know this?
On the 19th January, an obscure person called Delyth Morgan levelled what I regard as an astonishing smear against people who educate their children at home. She suggested that such parents might be abusers, saying (I have taken these words directly from the Education department's own website):
'Making sure children are safe, well and receive a good education is our most serious responsibility.'Parents are able, quite rightly, to choose whether they want to educate children at home, and a very small number do. I’m sure the vast majority do a good job. However, there are concerns that some children are not receiving the education they need.'And in some extreme cases, home education could be used as a cover for abuse. We cannot allow this to happen and are committed to doing all we can to help ensure children are safe, wherever they are educated.'
This review will look at whether the right systems are in place that allow local authorities and other agencies to ensure that any concerns about the safety, welfare or education of home educated children are addressed quickly and effectively. The review will of course talk to home educating families to ensure their views and experiences are heard.'
Have We All Been Conned? Recycling's The New State Religion But Once Again it's Been Exposed as a Sham
Wine bottles - not completely unknown in our house - belong to still another. Then there are plastic bottles and metal cans to contend with, not to mention leaves, cut grass and other garden waste.
It is quite a palaver, I can tell you. I suppose that, if one added up all the minutes one stands above this or that bin puzzling as to whether to throw in this or that item, I must spend between half an hour and an hour a week recycling. And then there is the business of humping the boxes out into the road, and trying to pilot wheelie bins which don't actually wheel at all well over bumps. I am still relatively hale and hearty, but God knows how I would manage if I were not.
If asked to get rid of a carton or bottle, which seldom happens, they peer at it as though they have never seen such an object before. Blessed are they that do not have to recycle. Alas, millions of us have to, and we live in daily fear of being fined or upbraided by officious council representatives for getting our bins in a muddle.
Why do we go on doing it? I suppose we like to be on the right side of the law, even though we suspect in our hearts that the law as it relates to rubbish is pretty dodgy. And I expect that many of us, though somewhat sceptical, still harbour a distant hope that we may somehow be helping the planet by ensuring that too many nasty tins and bottles aren't buried in Britain's green and pleasant land. We may also imagine we are somehow limiting the ill-effects of climate change, and helping unfortunate polar bears in the Arctic.
But are we? Probably not, according to Peter Jones, an expert on waste who advises the Government and the Mayor of London. Mr Jones suggests that 'the global warming impact of putting material through an incinerator five miles down the road is actually less than recycling it 3,000 miles away'. In other words, fewer greenhouse gases are produced if you burn rubbish locally than if you sort it and send it halfway round the world.
The decision was made to refuse the grandparents the right to raise their own blood relatives and instead give them away to two gay men ‘in accordance with who can best meet their needs’, according to the social services jargon.
But how can two strangers – gay or straight – best meet the needs of two children abandoned by a drug-addict mother for whom the only constants in their short, difficult lives have been their loving grandparents?
According to the British Journal of Photography, the Counter-Terrorism Act 2008, which is set to become law on February 16, “allows for the arrest and imprisonment of anyone who takes pictures of officers ‘likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism’.” The punishment for this offense is imprisonment for up to ten years and a fine.
What makes the following accounts so much more insidious, however, is that they all involve children.
Amira’s left arm and thigh were crushed and her internal organs damaged by falling rubble when a shell hit her home in the Tel al Hawa neighbourhood of Gaza City in the final days of Israel’s offensive. The attack killed her father, brother and sister, leaving her an orphan.
But, despite her urgent need for surgery, Amira has been turned away at the border each time, said her aunt, Mona Ghirim. "Each morning we arrived at the crossing and the Egyptian soldiers cursed us and told us to go away."
The ministry, in a press release on Wednesday, said that the Israeli occupation forces took with them more than 200 Palestinians from the Gaza Strip after their withdrawal and subjected them to torture rounds in order to extract any information on resistance elements and places from where the homemade rockets are being fired at Israeli targets.
Now that the spectacle of the Barack Obama coronation as the “American” Empire’s first African-American emperor has run its course, and many, many millions of dollars have been spent on self-adulation by the power elite of this nation, the huddled masses will necessarily be compelled to return to a system of no universal, single-payer health care, increasing joblessness, insatiable corporate / military greed, homelessness, de facto racial disparity & discord, police brutality, a burgeoning U.S. prison population, and endless U.S. wars abroad.
For yet again, this nation will have done what it all too often does: perverted its promise, including the dream of the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., into a hypocritical nightmare of gigantic and historic proportions.
High fructose corn syrup has replaced sugar in many processed foods, including beverages, breads, cereals, breakfast bars, lunch meats, yogurts, soups and condiments. On average, Americans consume about 12 teaspoons per day of high fructose corn syrup. Consumption by teenagers and other high consumers can be up to 80 percent above average levels, according to the Institute of Agriculture and Trade Policy -- the group responsible for the second report.
What health agencies did not want you to know is that there are many other toxic additives still in vaccines, and one of them is aluminum.
Aluminum has not received the widespread media attention that mercury has, therefore many people don’t realize it’s a health risk.
“Aluminum is not perceived, I believe, by the public as a dangerous metal. Therefore, we are in a much more comfortable wicket in terms of defending its presence in vaccines,” said Dr. John Clements, WHO vaccine advisor.
Notice he said that aluminum is “not perceived” by the public as a dangerous metal … he couldn’t say simply that aluminum is safe, because this would be a lie.

Edinburgh Social Services Remove Young Children From Grandparents and Arrange Adoption by Gay Couple
But social workers stepped in after allegedly deciding that the couple, who are aged 59 and 46, were "too old" to look after the children.
They were allegedly stripped of their carer's rights and informed they would be barred from seeing the children altogether unless they agreed to the same-sex adoption.
The distraught grandfather said: "It breaks my heart to think that our grandchildren are being forced to grow up in an environment without a mother-figure.
"We are not prejudiced, but I defy anyone to explain to us how this can be in their best interests.
"The ideal for any child is to have a loving father and a loving mother in their lives."
His wife added: "It's so important for children to fit in, and I feel our grandchildren will be marked out from the start when they draw pictures of their two dads."
The case raises fears about state interference in family arrangements, and concerns about the practice of adoption by same-sex couples.
Social workers at the City of Edinburgh Council have been accused of waging a "two-year campaign" through the courts to strip the grandparents of their legal rights as carers of the children.
The news has angered critics at a time when up to 8,300 private sector jobs are under threat, with many large firms preparing to announce redundancies over the course of the next year.
A spokesman for the TaxPayers' Alliance said: "It defies belief that while the economy falters and tens of thousands of people in the private sector have been losing their jobs, the big bonus culture continues as normal in Whitehall."
It also comes as Lord Jones, the former Trade Minister, said he was "amazed" by how many civil servants he met during his time in government "who frankly deserved the sack", adding that "the job could be done with half as many".
The Tories earlier this month claimed taxpayers were footing a bill of more than £100m for the salaries of nearly 5,000 bureaucrats in "non-jobs".
And this is why Gordon Brown is so keen to shore up the finances of Big Pharma
The National Emergency Centers Act or HR 645 mandates the establishment of “national emergency centers” to be located on military installations for the purpose of to providing “temporary housing, medical, and humanitarian assistance to individuals and families dislocated due to an emergency or major disaster,” according to the bill.
The legislation also states that the camps will be used to “provide centralized locations to improve the coordination of preparedness, response, and recovery efforts of government, private, and not-for-profit entities and faith-based organizations”.
Ominously, the bill also states that the camps can be used to “meet other appropriate needs, as determined by the Secretary of Homeland Security,” an open ended mandate which many fear could mean the forced detention of American citizens in the event of widespread rioting after a national emergency or total economic collapse.
In present time they are engaged in exterminating a population before the eyes of the world. They forced 700,000 of these people off of their land via the cachet that they garnered according to this highly questionable event. Since then, for sixty years they have been diligently exterminating these people and stealing more and more of their land. This is a fact.
Recently they launched a military strike against these people for political gain. The party in power was losing the support of their own people so they needed to do something that would regain them political support for the upcoming election. They succeeded in this event. They also succeeded in destroying what little was left of the other countries manufacturing capacity. They also destroyed their livestock and food supplies. When concerned people around the world wanted to donate to these people, who are homeless and without food, the BBC decided not to run a public service video because the appeal might be considered as anti-Israel. Yes… the BBC refused to run the appeal for this reason. This is because pro-Zionist Mark Thompson is a director at the BBC. Marcus Agius, a senior independent director at the BBC is married to a Rothschild.
Things are very, very bad in Gaza. Here is a listing of some of the Israeli war criminals with their pictures.
During this vicious act of genocide the Israelis used DIME… depleted uranium …and white phosphorus on women and children and anyone else who happened to be nearby. Now they are blocking an appeal for the survivors of the devastation that they caused.
The argument has been given that the attack was to stop rockets being launched into GAZA. Few, if any rockets were launched into GAZA during the ceasefire which was broken by Israel. Its right there on CNN, go watch it. Israel committed these atrocities to influence an election and because they are psychopaths who enjoy causing human suffering. This is how they entertain themselves.
Protesters who have mounted vocal demonstrations in recent weeks against the collapse of the economy squared up to police, spattered parliament with eggs and paint, and at one point surrounded the prime minister's car as he tried to leave his office.
They pelted Geir Haarde's car with eggs and banged on the windows, shouting "resign", in a sign of mounting exasperation at the government's failure to prevent the economy from imploding under a mountain of billions of dollars of debt.
"These men bankrupted Iceland. It's ridiculous that they continue as if nothing happened," the writer Hallgrimur Helgason said. "I want the government to resign and an emergency government to be proclaimed, preferably made up of women. They can't do worse than men."
Mrs Pelosi said that "contraception will reduce costs to the states and to the federal government".
Mrs Pelosi, the mother of five children and grandmother to six, did not spell out exactly how fewer babies would help the economy.
Gordon Brown has summoned senior industry figures, such as Andrew Witty, chief executive of GlaxoSmithKline, and David Brennan, his opposite number at AstraZeneca, to a meeting at No10 to discuss ways of protecting pharmaceuticals and biotechnology companies, their revenues and their jobs, as the economy deteriorates rapidly.
Got to keep the population drugged up and docile haven't you Brown!
Flechettes are 4cm long metal darts that are sharply pointed at the front, with four fins at the rear. Between 5,000 and 8,000 are packed into 120mm shells which are generally fired from tanks. The shells explode in the air and scatter the flechettes in a conical pattern over an area about 300m wide and 100m long.
An anti-personnel weapon designed to penetrate dense vegetation, flechettes should never be used in built-up civilian areas.
The Israeli army has used them in Gaza periodically for several years. In most cases their use has resulted in civilians being killed or injured.
At least 22 people were killed in the car bomb blast and an ensuing firefight on Saturday, witnesses and medics said.
Several homes were hit by artillery fire just minutes after the vehicle blew up, residents of the Hodan neighbourhood said.
"We are civilians - we don't have weapons - yet we are caught in the middle of the fighting from the African troops who allegedly came here for peacekeeping," Adam Abdi said.
"This area was bombed more than six times but there are no military bases here."
Heavy fighting have also been reported near Khan Yunis in southern Gaza after Israeli forces moved into the territory Tuesday afternoon.
Earlier, Defense Minister Ehud Barak had threatened to attack the strip in retaliation to the death of an Israeli soldier who was killed in a bomb blast at the Kissufim crossing near the Israel-Gaza border.
The military forces responded immediately to the incident by killing a Palestinian farmer near the border crossing.

According to some experts, eating meat contributes towards global warming because of the chemicals sprayed on feed crops and the methane emitted by cattle and sheep.
See the list here...
"We have to take the engines off the boats or they will come back.
"The wind will carry them to India or somewhere."
Humanitarian groups have accused Thailand of systematically abusing migrants from the Muslim minority Rohingya.
The allegations of abuse came after accounts emerged of a group of Rohingya being beaten before being towed back out to sea after being intercepted off Indonesia.
Mayor Gerald Tremblay said Monday his public security committee is mulling the request to slap offenders with fines, a suggestion first brought forward by Montreal's police brotherhood.
The union wants Tremblay to make it illegal for members of the public to call cops profanity-laced nicknames, or lob jeers, such as "pig" and "doughnut-eater."
"But that would reduce global growth, deny us the benefits of global trade and confine millions to global poverty.
"Or we could view the threats and challenges we face today as the difficult birth-pangs of a new global order - and our task now as nothing less than making the transition through a new internationalism to the benefits of an expanding global society - not muddling through as pessimists but making the necessary adjustment to a better future and setting the new rules for this new global order."
Torture by US officials has long been illegal, but the president’s executive order entitled “Ensuring Lawful Interrogations” seems to clarify, to some extent, what activities are proscribed. Disappointingly, though, this order contains loopholes big enough to drive a FEMA camp train through them.
Under the new scheme sought by transmission firms, Velvel writes, “large companies would pay more, no doubt a lot more, in order to have their messages, videos, audios, and any other content transmitted rapidly. The rest of us peasants, who could not afford to have our content move fast, would pay less and have it move more slowly.”
“One can be sure that the average guy with something he wants to say will be relegated to lower speed transmissions,” Velvel writes. “Blogdom, and the use of the internet by average people for political purposes, will likely be as good as dead.”
According to Save The Internet.com(STI), “The nation’s largest telephone and cable companies ---including AT&T, Verizon, Comcast and Time Warner---want to be Internet gatekeepers, deciding which Web sites go fast or slow and which won’t load at all.”
Read this article and then tell me that it isn't critical for the public to support sites like this!
According to this Agreement, Israel became a partner of the European Union within the framework of the EU's European Neighbourhood Policy (ENP).
According to the ENP Internet site, the European initiative seeks to develop the EU's relations with other states on the basis of "the mutual commitment to common values (democracy and human rights, rule of law, good governance, market economy principles and sustainable development)."
Although Israel continues to violate all these values and principles on a daily basis and is also the country holding the record of non-compliance of UN resolutions, the EU Council and Commission decided on December 8 to boost the relations between the Union and Israel through the approval of a Protocol to the Agreement.
For the first time, EU foreign ministers spoke of inviting Israel to a bilateral summit and to take part in missions related to its defense policies.
Furthermore, EU ministers decided to put aside a proposed action plan to promote the peace process in the Middle East in 2009, after Israel demanded the EU to do so.
Tarin said Islamabad had discussed the deficit in meeting expenses for fighting Taliban and al-Qaeda in restive tribal areas near the Afghan border with US officials.
So the US blames Pakistan for inaction over Taliban operations in NorthWest Pakistan and uses this to justify sending its killer drones to Attack those areas of Pakistan and at the same times cuts he funding that allows Pakistan to take the action The US is demanding.
Two Faced Bastards!
"There won't be peace in the Middle East without Hamas involvement," the former US President emphasized.

Lord Taylor- Corrupt
The four peers, including two former ministers, face a Parliamentary inquiry into allegations that they pledged to amend laws in return for payments from lobbyists. They were secretly recorded in an undercover newspaper sting apparently pledging to seek changes to proposed laws as paid consultants for a foreign businessman.
Senior MPs said that the actions of the peers would amount to "corruption" if proven and Chris Huhne, the Liberal Democrat Home Affairs spokesman, called for the police to investigate the claims.
The public standards watchdog described the allegations as "serious" and threatened to intervene if necessary.
However, despite a recent review of the system of investigating complaints against peers, the most severe punishment that can be served is to demand a public apology.
At the same time, information gathered by companies including hotel registrations, bank details and telecommunications data could be transferred to the Government as part of the provisions of the Coroner's and Justice Bill, it is claimed.
Privacy International also warns that there will be no protection from such mass transfers of data, which would only require ministerial approval under the new law.
Tens of thousands of businesses are already planning to scale back working hours this year in an effort to stay afloat. But as the country comes to terms with the reality of a recession, it emerged that the Government is looking at compensating employees, through their firms – thereby drawing comparisons with the shutdowns of the 1970s.
Anything to keep the unemployment figures low!
Bet we don't see any three day weeks in our quangos and councils!
Speaking during an interview which was published in Jerusalem Friday, Professor Martin Van Crevel said Israel had the capability of hitting most European capitals with nuclear weapons.
"We possess several hundred atomic warheads and rockets and can launch them at targets in all directions, perhaps even at Rome. Most European capitals are targets of our air force."
Creveld, a professor of military history at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, pointed out that "collective deportation" was Israel's only meaningful strategy towards the Palestinian people.
