Preparing for Civil Unrest in America

At this particular juncture, there is no economic recovery program in sight. The Washington-Wall Street consensus prevails. There are no policies, no alternatives formulated from within the political and economic system. .

What is the way out? How will the US government face an impending social catastrophe?
The solution is to curb social unrest. The chosen avenue, inherited from the outgoing Bush administration is the reinforcement of the Homeland Security apparatus and the militarization of civilian State institutions.

The outgoing administration has laid the groundwork. Various pieces of "anti-terrorist" legislation (including the Patriot Acts) and presidential directives have been put in place since 2001, largely using the pretext of the "Global War on Terrorism."

Military Readies Reservists for Threats to 'Domestic Front'

Reserve units across Canada are being trained in securing perimeters in case of an emergency. The Canadian military has embarked on a wide-ranging plan to turn its reserve soldiers into focused units trained and equipped to respond to a nightmarish array of domestic threats, including terrorist "dirty bomb" attacks, biological agent containment, Arctic catastrophes and natural disasters.
The creation of seven units within each region of the country -- including unusual all-terrain vehicle (ATV) squadrons and perimeter security teams to cordon areas of potential devastation -- prepares reserve soldiers for operations on the "domestic front" while freeing regular force soldiers to concentrate on foreign battlefields.
"There is a recognition, certainly within the military and we have heard the government say, that domestic security is the number one priority.

'Community Conscription' being Advocated In Britain

Two out of three Britons back the idea of compulsory community service for young people, a poll has found.

A civic programme would find useful work for millions who would otherwise face mass unemployment in a deepening recession, many believe.

The survey also uncovered widespread fears that the energies and talents of jobless teenagers and twenty-somethings need to be harnessed to avoid the danger of rioting and unrest.

Bad News From America’s Top Spy

We have a remarkable ability to create our own monsters. A few decades of meddling in the Middle East with our Israeli doppelgänger and we get Hezbollah, Hamas, al-Qaida, the Iraqi resistance movement and a resurgent Taliban.
Now we trash the world economy and destroy the ecosystem and sit back to watch our handiwork. Hints of our brave new world seeped out Thursday when Washington’s new director of national intelligence, retired Adm. Dennis Blair, testified before the Senate Intelligence Committee.
He warned that the deepening economic crisis posed perhaps our gravest threat to stability and national security. It could trigger, he said, a return to the “violent extremism” of the 1920s and 1930s.

The Reality Of FEMA Camps And The Martial Law Apparatus

There is no doubt that the government is preparing a nationwide system of detention facilities under the guise of emergency management that could be used to house large quantities of Americans during a time of civil strife. Many think that it is a conspiracy theory, but it is not. It is a fact that the federal government has many facilities right now that can be used to house large numbers of political dissidents if the need arises.

Protectionism - Globalisations Dark Side

AS POLITICIANS know only too well, even the best chosen words can turn out to be hostages to fortune. Six months ago, President Nicolas Sarkozy boasted that when there is a strike in France these days no-one notices because it is simply not such a big deal.

Two years ago, Gordon Brown stated that British jobs should be for British workers. Surveying the industrial unrest which has swept through both countries both leaders must now be wishing that they had kept a firmer bridle on their tongues. Instead of playing to the gallery - as they intended when they basked in their self-confident rhetoric - their comments have come back to bite them.

New Legislation Authorizes FEMA Camps In US

A new bill introduced in Congress authorizes the Department of Homeland Security to set up a network of FEMA camp facilities to be used to house U.S. citizens in the event of a national emergency.

The National Emergency Centers Act or HR 645 mandates the establishment of “national emergency centers” to be located on military installations for the purpose of to providing “temporary housing, medical, and humanitarian assistance to individuals and families dislocated due to an emergency or major disaster,” according to the bill.

The legislation also states that the camps will be used to “provide centralized locations to improve the coordination of preparedness, response, and recovery efforts of government, private, and not-for-profit entities and faith-based organizations”.

Ominously, the bill also states that the camps can be used to “meet other appropriate needs, as determined by the Secretary of Homeland Security,” an open ended mandate which many fear could mean the forced detention of American citizens in the event of widespread rioting after a national emergency or total economic collapse.

Societal Apocalypse

It requires a concerted effort to comprehend the enormity of what cabal capitalists are currently perpetrating: outrages so monstrous--yet hidden and somewhat gradual--that most people aren't able to discern them.

In this essay we'll investigate how the cabal is using its economic terrorist attacks as a means of destroying American society utterly and on its ashes attempting to create a new political-economic world order, quickening America's and the world's descent into a new Holocaust. We'll also explore how we can survive this Cataclysm and overcome the demonic forces perpetrating it.

Canada, U.S. Agree to Use Each Other's Troops In Civil Emergencies

Canada and the U.S. have signed an agreement that paves the way for the militaries from either nation to send troops across each other's borders during an emergency, but some are questioning why the Harper government has kept silent on the deal.

Neither the Canadian government nor the Canadian Forces announced the new agreement, which was signed Feb. 14 in Texas.

The U.S. military's Northern Command, however, publicized the agreement with a statement outlining how its top officer, Gen. Gene Renuart, and Canadian Lt.-Gen. Marc Dumais, head of Canada Command, signed the plan, which allows the military from one nation to support the armed forces of the other nation during a civil emergency.

20,000 More Troops To be Deployed For US "Domestic Security"

'The Washington Post today reports on plans to station 20,000 more U.S. troops inside America for purposes of “domestic security” from September 2011, an expansion of Northcom’s militarization of the country in preparation for potential civil unrest following a total economic collapse or a mass terror attack.

“The U.S. military expects to have 20,000 uniformed troops inside the United States by 2011 trained to help state and local officials respond to a nuclear terrorist attack or other domestic catastrophe, according to Pentagon officials.” “Domestic emergency deployment may be “just the first example of a series of expansions in presidential and military authority,” or even an increase in domestic surveillance, said Anna Christensen of the ACLU’s National Security Project. And Cato Vice President Gene Healy warned of “a creeping militarization” of homeland security.”

The War At Home

When the government has changed from an asset to a liability, the power elite will simply cast it off like an old suit and look for a new host to latch onto. That means Uncle Sam will be left to deal with an extremely ticked population. They are prepared to do so with our own Armed Forces.
