Netanyahu: Jerusalem Holy Sites Will Remain Israeli Forever
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed Thursday that all of Jerusalem would always remain under Israeli sovereignty, in comments likely to spark consternation among Palestinians who hope to make the city the capital of a future state.
"Jerusalem is the eternal capital of the Jewish people, a city reunified so as never again to be divided," Netanyahu said at a ceremony to mark Jerusalem Day in the city's Mercaz Harav yeshiva. Israel Destroying Gaza's Farmlands
On the morning of 4 May 2009, Israeli troops set fire to Palestinian crops along Gaza's eastern border with Israel. The Palestinian Centre for Human Rights (PCHR) reported that 200,000 square meters of crops were destroyed, including wheat and barley ready for harvest, as well as vegetables, olive and pomegranate trees.
Local farmers report that the blaze carried over a four-kilometer stretch on the Palestinian side of the eastern border land. Ibrahim Hassan Safadi, 49, from one of the farming families whose crops were destroyed by the blaze, said that the fires were smoldering until early evening, despite efforts by the fire brigades to extinguish them.
Safadi says he was present when Israeli soldiers fired small bombs into his field, which soon after caught ablaze. He explained that "The Israeli soldiers fired from their jeeps, causing a fire to break out on the land. They burned the wheat, burned the pomegranate trees ... The fire spread across the valley. We called the fire brigades. They came to the area and put out the fire. But in some places the fire started again." According to Safadi, he lost 30,000 square meters to the blaze, including 300 pomegranate trees, 150 olive trees, and wheat.

Holocaust High Priest has Blood on His Hands
Despite the unpopularity of the Iraq War, the sixth anniversary of the unilateral initiation of that conflict by President Bush came and went without any reference in the Zionist media to the role played by Elie Wiesel, our Holocaust High Priest, in helping to launch that conflict.
“The Holocaust:” Our State Religion
The “Holocaust” is now the secular faith of America. It comes complete with publicly funded indoctrination classes about its problematical “lessons” in our nation’s schools, a taxpayer-funded “Commission on the Holocaust” in every state, non-stop media and Hollywood reminders about events that are supposedly related to it, and a taxpayer-funded holocaust museum/propaganda center in Washington, along with similar satellite “museums” throughout the country. The religion of “the Holocaust” singles out Pope Pius XII as a willing accomplice of Hitler during “the Holocaust,” even though such an assertion is demonstrably false. In other words, the state religion, instead of uniting people, cleverly uses Pius XII as a symbol to isolate one group in American society, Catholics, for derision. No other group must endure such an indignity. Nonetheless, tax monies taken from Catholics are used to finance state-approved holocaust brainwashing classes, and to pay for holocaust museum construction and maintenance.
Elie Wiesel: the “Pope” of Our Secular Faith
As mentioned above, Wiesel is the undisputed High Priest of our secular faith. In this capacity, he is also the principal voice of Holocaust Fundamentalism in America. Who are the Holocaust Fundamentalists? They are the political extremists who use Jewish suffering in previous generations to provide, among other things, cover for Israel’s abominable crimes against the native population of Palestine, and to support America’s reckless and self-destructive pro-Israel foreign policy.
Wiesel’s Visit to the White House
In the run-up to the invasion of Iraq, Wiesel, in his priestly capacity, made a lightning visit to the White House on February 27, 2003. The Holocaust Fundamentalists were pushing for a needless, immoral and illegal war. Cheney was on board, but Bush seemed to be wavering.
Our Zionist-tilted media, which should have reported on Wiesel’s visit in detail, suppressed coverage. This was business as usual for the media, and this particular lie of omission resulted, as is often the case, in more dead Americans.
Fortunately, however, Bob Woodward did mention Wiesel’s appearance at the White House in his 2004 book, Plan of Attack. Ironically, Woodward was writing at a point in time when the invasion was supposedly going well. Thus, his intent in mentioning Wiesel’s dramatic performance at the White House was not to criticize the man, but rather to praise him while also offering an honest portrayal of the man’s immense power. In doing so, Woodward made it clear that this “war of choice” was as much about Israel as it was about oil.
Woodward stressed that Bush had been wavering about his decision to unleash the dogs of war until he received Wiesel’s blessing. Wiesel had told him that Iraq was a “terrorist state and that the moral imperative was for intervention.” Israel’s security was supposedly at stake. He asked: “In the name of morality, how can we not intervene?” (320)
Woodward concludes: “In the days after, Bush routinely repeated Wiesel’s comments.” He leaves it to us to fill in the winks and nods that must have gone with that statement, for what Bush was saying in effect was that by launching a proxy war for Israel he was averting another “Holocaust.” Colin Powell, apparently referring to our High Priest’s influence on Bush, later stated sardonically that the President had relied on “divine guidance” in deciding to go to war, as if the mendacious Wiesel were some kind of a holy man!
Cardinal Laghi, with a Letter from the Pope, Visits the White House
At about the same time as Wiesel was giving Bush his blessing for the invasion, Pope John Paul II sent Cardinal Pio Laghi, who had formerly been the Vatican representative in Washington, to the White House. His goal? Argue against this disastrous war plan. Since Laghi had enjoyed cordial relations with the Bush family over the years, he was a trusted friend. He brought with him a letter from the Pope, and both the contents of that letter and his own verbal exhortations argued that the coming war would be unjustified on both moral and legal grounds.
The difference between the Catholic position, as voiced by Laghi, and the one espoused by the Holocaust Fundamentalists, as voiced by Wiesel, could not have been more radically different. Bush, of course, aware of who has power in this country and who does not, ignored the advice of John Paul II and his emissary, preferring to listen to Wiesel and the Holocaust Fundamentalists. Since the latter’s official blessing gave Bush the political cover he needed, tens of thousands of American men and women – and countless Iraqis – have been killed and maimed in a needless war.
Their blood is on Elie Wiesel’s hands.
And the “mainstream” media still haven’t noticed.

As Israel Rages, US Plans for Iran War Re-emerge
As Washington gets updates on Israeli plans to strike Iran, US President Barack Obama orders the Pentagon to rejuvenate contingency plans for the use of military in Iran.Despite the prospects of diplomatic engagement with Tehran over its nuclear program, Defense Secretary and Pentagon chief Robert Gates said Friday that the White House has not ruled out the possibility of a military strike if diplomacy was to fail.
"Presidents always ask their military to have a range of contingency plans available to them," Gates told NBC television. "And all I would say is that, as a result of our dialogue with the president, we've refreshed our plans and all options are on the table."
In a turnabout from the policies of the Bush administration, President Obama says he seeks to diplomatically engage Iran over its disputed nuclear program.
Iran, which favors diplomacy to resolve the nuclear differences with the West, says the program is directed at the civilian applications of the technology.
The US and Israel, however, accuse the country of seeking military objectives in its pursuit.
The defense secretary's remarks come shortly after a visit by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to Washington.

AFRICOM’s $6 Billion Fiasco in Djibouti
The USA African Command (AFRICOM) is building their new African megabase in the tiny Horn of African country of Djibouti. The first phase is costing $2 billion, according to reports, and eventually another $4 billion will be spent. This latest expansion of USA imperial might, this time on African soil, is turning into a fiasco for the Pentagon and US State Department.To understand why one must review the recent history in the region. Djibouti is and has been little more than a province of Ethiopia. It was a French colony and continues to host a significant French military base. Since 9-11, the USA military has been feverishly trying to find a site for a major military presence in a strategic place in Africa. Unfortunately for the Pentagon, no African country with a suitable site will allow the USA to set up shop there.
So enter Djibouti. With a population of about 500,000, and one of the poorest countries on the planet, Djibouti sits at the entrance to the Red Sea, through which passes much of the world’s shipping, including a sizable portion of the oil used in Europe and Asia. The USA made the Djiboutian president an offer he couldn’t refuse and now the concrete is being poured and the new runways and docks are growing out of the sand and desert of the North African coastline of the Indian Ocean.

UK: Camera Grid to Log Number Plates
A national network of cameras and computers automatically logging car number plates will be in place within months, the BBC has learned.
Thousands of Automatic Number Plate Recognition cameras are already operating on Britain's roads.
Police forces across England, Wales and Scotland will soon be able to share the information on one central computer.
Officers say it is a useful tool in fighting crime, but critics say the network is secretive and unregulated.

How MI5 Blackmails British Muslims

The men claim they were given a choice of working for the Security Service or face detention and harassment in the UK and overseas.
They have made official complaints to the police, to the body which oversees the work of the Security Service and to their local MP Frank Dobson. Now they have decided to speak publicly about their experiences in the hope that publicity will stop similar tactics being used in the future.

In an astonishing outburst Mr Steen, who spent £90,000 on his second home, including big sums for lopping trees in its grounds, said that his critics were jealous because he lived in a large house. He blamed the Freedom of Information Act for his plight and asked what right the public had to interfere with his private life.
“I’ve done nothing criminal, that’s the most awful thing, and do you know what it’s about? Jealousy,” he told the BBC. “I’ve got a very, very large house. Some people say it looks like Balmoral. It’s a merchant’s house of the 19th century. It’s not particularly attractive, it just does me nicely.”

Geithner Rejects Limits On Bailed out Bankers Pay
Timothy Geithner, US treasury secretary, said on Monday he opposes caps on executive pay in companies receiving bailouts from the federal government under the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP).Geithner, speaking at a live broadcast interview hosted by Newsweek, made a number of notable remarks, including the claim that the economy has “clearly stabilized” despite the daily growth of unemployment and other indices of social distress. However, his comments on executive compensation stood out most of all.
Geithner, who said he received a “generous salary appropriate for a public servant,” was asked if “it would be a reasonable proposal that companies receiving TARP money should [have their executive pay] capped at what the secretary of the treasury makes?"
“No, I don't think so.” Geithner replied. “I don't think our government should set caps on compensation.”
Well aware of the popular hostility towards the banking executives, Geithner attempted to qualify his statement, adding, “What I think we need to do is set in place some broad constraints on the incentives compensation systems created.”
“We can bring about broader reforms... that will make it less likely that people will get paid to take large amounts of short-term risk at the expense of their firms and at the expense of the system as a whole.”
The only such “reform” mentioned by Geithner was his proposal that “companies submit to shareholders their broader compensation packages.” Such a proposal is ridiculous. Shareholder votes are, of course themselves monopolized by multimillionaires and billionaires, who are perfectly happy to let their colleagues rake in tens of millions of dollars in compensation every year, knowing full well that they will receive the same treatment.

FOOD police will be patrolling kindergarten and childcare centres to eliminate unhealthy lunchbox food under strict new guidelines to be adopted by federal health officials.

British Motorcyclist Electronically Tagged For Dropping Sweets
A motorcyclist has told how he was electronically tagged for four months and given a 36-hour community order – for dropping mint imperials while riding.Thomas Payne, 19, must be at home from 8pm till 6am under the terms of his ankle tag after police spotted the trail of sweets left by his Yamaha DT175.
A police charge notice said he had ‘intentionally and without authority or reasonable cause, caused sweets to be on a road, namely Lancaster Circus, in such circumstances that it would have been obvious to a reasonable person that to do so would be dangerous’ contrary to the Road Traffic Act.
Payne insists: “They were just falling out of my pocket. Because of the time they followed me for they said I should have known.”
Payne was stopped in Birmingham on March 16. He pleaded guilty and was sentenced at Birmingham Magistrates Court on March 24. He was ordered to pay £50 costs.
He said: “For a 19-year-old being housebound every night is hell.”
He must also spend three hours every Saturday taking part in group activities including woodwork classes until his community order is completed. “I count myself lucky I’m still allowed to eat sweets,” he said.
West Midlands Police confirmed: “A man aged 19 was arrested on the March 16 in Lancaster Circus, Birmingham, on suspicion of endangering road users.
"He was charged on March 17 and appeared at Birmingham Magistrates Court on March 24.”

KBR Was Paid $83 Million in Bonuses for Work That Electrocuted US Soldiers
The Department of Defense paid former Halliburton subsidiary KBR more than $80 million in bonuses for contracts to install electrical wiring in Iraq in 2007-2008. The award payment was for the very work that resulted in the electrocution deaths of US soldiers, according to Department of Defense documents revealed today in a Senate hearing. More than $30 million in bonuses were paid months after the death of Sgt. Ryan Maseth, a highly decorated, 24-year-old Green Beret, whose January 2008 electrocution death has been classified by DoD investigators as a “negligent homicide.” Maseth’s death had originally been labeled an “accident.” All of the bonuses were paid to KBR after DoD investigators had officially expressed concerns about the quality of KBR’s electrical work.

The long-term psychological impact of the recent financial crisis will mean people will continue to rely on tangible notes and coins, according to the study which was carried out for ATM operator Bank Machine.
At the same time the resistance to change from an ageing population, concerns about a surveillance society, retailer resistance and Britons' attachment to Sterling will all ensure cash continues to be widely used.
The report, carried out with James Woudhuysen, professor of forecasting and innovation at De Montfort University, Leicester, said a cashless society in which contactless payments were made by touching a card against a reader would also reduce the level of people's daily human interaction.
It added that the removal of notes and coins from our lives would have a knock-on effect on many activities, ranging from buying things at car boot sales to community fundraising efforts such as local fêtes, as it would not be commercially viable to install contactless payment systems for these events.
A lack of cash would also hit church and charity collections, office whip-rounds for birthdays and leaving presents, and even children's pocket money.

The New York Times reported Tuesday that Afghan President Hamid Karzai has agreed to give the former US ambassador to the UN, Zalmay Khalilzad, the position of chief executive officer of Afghanistan.
According to senior US and Afghan officials who were speaking on condition of anonymity, the position would allow Khalilzad to serve as some form of "a prime minister, except not prime minister because he wouldn't be responsible to a parliamentary system."
The appointment, which comes amid frosty relations between Karzai and the White House, has raised worldwide concern.
"The idea of having an American as a major senior official of Afghanistan is a very risky one both for the Afghan government and the person in question," noted Teresita C. Schaffer, a former State Department official who is currently a senior South Asia expert at the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington.
"Whoever is going to run Afghanistan will have to have both feet on the ground there, and I know Zal has intimate knowledge of the country and was involved to a degree that was virtually unheard of for an ambassador," she added.
Khalilzad, an Afghan-born US citizen who played an influential role under the Bush administration, had first decided to run against Karzai in the upcoming presidential elections in Afghanistan, but he eventually dropped his bid and opted for a high-ranking position in the Kabul government instead.
Over the past years, Khalilzad has been no stranger to controversy. He rankled State Department officials when he arranged to meet Asif Ali Zardari for talks on Pakistan's presidential elections, just when Washington was trying to prove that it did not meddle in Pakistan.
He drew an angry response for attending a forum with Iran's foreign minister without getting permission from the White House first.
Although the US officialdom insists that it had nothing to do with Khalilzadeh's prime ministerial bid, it is no secret that enlisting Khalilzad in the Afghan government would give Washington considerable leverage to advance its political agenda in Afghanistan and the region.
I predicted 12 months ago that Khalilzad would be lined up to take over from Karzai, well it looks as if he and the rest of the neocons are going to get the next best thing!!
Senators Press Obama to Toe Israel's Line
As President Barack Obama is said to be asking Israel to accept some kind of Palestinian state, US senators are urging him not to deviate from Tel Aviv in any negotiations.In a letter to Obama, 76 of the 100 senators said that the US "must take into account the risks it will face in any peace agreement."
The letter came a day after Obama met with the Israeli prime minister in Washington where Benjamin Netanyahu tried to divert the US focus on the stalled Middle East 'peace process' and shift it to the issue of Iran.
Netanyahu dismissed the US president's 'concerns' over Israeli settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories.

Echoes Of Germany
I see echoes of Germany in the 1920/30s in our country today. The powerful multi-national corporations and banks hold sway, the public are dissatisfied with their Parliament, which has been run badly by the ineffective three in one main parties, who handed over most of it’s legislative power to the EU.The situation is ripe for someone to gain complete power and control, using the Civil Contingencies Act 2004, and the Fixated Threat Assessment Centre, in conjunction with the terrorist legislation, to sweep away our democratic bodies, take power away from the people, and tyrannise the country using the surveillance apparatus already in operation.
We have brutal police units not afraid to harm to public, and another foreign military police unit (Ugendfor) waiting in Vincenza, Italy to ‘help’ our police in cases of civil unrest.
The public who have been robbed and taxed to the hilt by their own government, local councils, bank credit crunch and privatised utilities, have now been whipped to boiling point, by media disclosure of corrupt politicians seemingly immune from prosecution, and do not need much of a push to punish a scapegoat chosen by someone and publicised.
The public are losing jobs to foreign workers, unemployment is rife, and the never-ending stream of foreign nationals coming to Britain are putting pressure on public services, disadvantaging many.
Given that it is entirely possible that this situation has been orchestrated by evil people, who consider themselves a cut above the sheeples, and taking many years to come to fruition.
How do we stop the situation turning into another holocaust?
I consider the BNP to be a mere distraction, allowed to fluorish to focus minds away from the real movers.
British people are quite informed about the origins of the EU, Bilderberg, Council on Foreign Relations, Committee of 300, Institute of International Affairs, Chatham House etc, and they are not impressed by these secretive manipulative bodies, because many of them have their roots in Corporate Nazism.
For years the powerful pharmaceutical companies (children of I G Farben) again gaining power, have been busy poisoning our food, medicines, vaccines, and water. (Sodium Benzoate, Aspartame, Fluoride, Monosodium Glutamate, and other Food additives), while squeezing out natural products under Codex Alimentarius.
Chemicals used in manufactured products, on our food, and on the land have been causing damage to human beings and their health.
Many illnesses today can be traced to these things, and our governments, and the health service are gradually withdrawing help and treatment for them, hiding behind quangos and distancing themselves from the decisions made, in true Marxist stake holding tradition.
The World Bank and IMF have been gradually gaining their stranglehold on the world, in the same way the Rothschild’s gained power over royalty in past times, by loaning them money, to gain power over them. Just as the German founded European Central Bank, and European Investment Bank have done, funded by the taxpayers of Europe who they have been bleeding dry. They do this by attaching conditionalities to the loans, and performing virtual coups d’etat on the countries or organisations they loan to. Their global Free Market Economic Policy (Golden Straitjacket) has done it’s job, by concentrating the wealth at the top, and removing it from ordinary people, just as it was designed to do, handing great wealth power to elites, and impoverishing the majority.
America is not blameless in all this, as the escaped Nazis who fled Europe after WWII, were given sanctuary and jobs, helped by Rockefeller and large multinational interests. Many being employed by the government on science projects. They changed their names to protect their origins. Many others escaped to Argentina, and most were helped by the Vatican rat runs. George W Bush’s government was not the only Nazi led government in America over the years, in part explaining America’s aggressive militaristic nature.
Bush put through America’s enabling act - The Patriot Act, and also the Military Commissions Act, bypassing the protections of the American Constitution, and Britain and American people are now facing a tough time, as their rulers close down their societies ready for the Corporate Fascist Regime which will surely follow.
Fascist Regimes do not suddenly occur, they build up to suppression while maintaining a semblance of normality on the surface, while they place their chess pieces to strike all at once.
I believe we are very close to the tipping point in Britain at the present time.

This bill now has nearly 170 cosponsors, with support from both Republicans and Democrats. On April 16, the Obama administration released four memos that were used to authorize torture in interrogations during the Bush administration. When President Obama released the memos, he said, "It is our intention to assure those who carried out their duties relying in good faith upon legal advice from the Department of Justice that they will not be subject to prosecution."
Yet 13 key people in the Bush administration cannot claim they relied on the memos from the DOJ's Office of Legal Counsel. Some of the 13 manipulated the federal bureaucracy and the legal process to "preauthorize" torture in the days after 9/11. Others helped implement torture, and still others helped write the memos that provided the Bush administration with a legal fig leaf after torture had already begun.

1300 Girls Harmed by HPV Vaccines in UK; Bizarre Side Effects Like Paralysis and Epilepsy
More than 1,300 girls in the United Kingdom have experienced negative reactions to the government-mandated Cervarix vaccine for the human papillomavirus (HPV), according to adverse events reports collected from doctors by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA).
"When they introduced this new vaccine, we had major concerns about its safety," said Jackie Fletcher of Jabs, a support group for those negatively affected by vaccines. "The current statistics detailing adverse reactions -- including cases of epilepsy and convulsions -- bears out that we were right to be concerned."
Cervarix, manufactured by GlaxoSmithKline, inoculates patients against strains 16 and 18 of HPV, which are believed to be responsible for 70 percent of cervical cancer cases. The British government began a program to vaccinate all secondary school girls in September 2008, and 700,000 have received the injections so far. The government's plan is to have all girls under the age of 18 vaccinated by 2011.

His warning came amid signs that the row over Westminster expenses could translate into rising support for fringe parties in June’s elections.

Last Thursday at a town hall meeting in Rio Rancho New Mexico President Barack Obama was asked why, when "so many people go bankrupt using their credit cards to pay for healthcare. Why have they taken single-payer off the plate (audience applause), and why is Senator Baucus on the Finance Committee discussing health care when he has received so much money from the pharmaceutical companies? Arabs Slam Bill to Criminalize 'Nakba'
Arab activists and politicians are slamming proposed legislation that would criminalize commemorating the establishment of the State of Israel as a day of mourning.
The bill, which has been submitted by MK Alex Miller (Israel Beiteinu), would punish citizens with jail terms of up to three years for commemorating what Palestinians and Arabs consider their nakba or catastrophe. The bill, which is still in a preliminary stage, is expected to be discussed by the cabinet in the coming weeks, Miller said.
