Parliament will be asked to consider whether the use of Nazi symbols and terms in reference to Jews, Israel and Zionism is breaking the law on incitement to racial hatred.

A new report by the European Institute for the Study of Contemporary Antisemitism (EISCA) has highlighted the increasing use of what it terms the “Nazi card” in antisemitic discourse and has called for a number of measures to try to combat its spread.

“Playing the Nazi card” has been defined in the report as the use of Nazi-related terms or symbols — for example intertwining the swastika with the Star of David — while negatively referring to Jews, Israel, Zionism or other aspects of what it calls the Jewish experience.

Disgraced Speaker Michael Martin To Be Elevated to the House of Lords

Michael Martin faces elevation to the House of Lords just as the Upper Chamber prepares to overhaul its system of expenses to give peers a less generous deal than before.

The Speaker will move from the eye of one expenses storm to another as the House of Lords is today expected to launch an independent inquiry into the £18m a year claimed by peers for expenses.

This will give Mr Martin’s new Parliamentary home a familiar feel. Speakers are given a peerage on completion of their time in the chair regardless of the circumstances of their departure.

David Miliband was yesterday accused of an 'outrageous deception' after it emerged that his department engineered a threat from the U.S. which helped suppress torture allegations that might embarrass the British government.

The Foreign Office asked the U.S. State Department to write a letter which claimed that Britain's national security would be at risk if details about the alleged torture of a British resident at Guantanamo Bay became public.

The letter played a key role in the High Court's decision to prevent the publication of documents about Binyam Mohamed's alleged ordeal.

Pediatricians Demand Annual Flu Shots for Infants as Vaccine-Pushing Doctors Descend into Extremist Quackery

Vaccinations are modern medicine's most-favored form of quackery. Even while the bulk of the evidence shows vaccines and flu shots ultimately harm more people than they help, they continue to be pushed by doctors, drug companies and state health authorities. Now you can add pediatricians to that list.

The American Academy of Pediatrics, a group of drug-pushing doctors that claim to care for children, is now demanding that parents get their children injected with an annual flu shot vaccine -- even for six-month-old babies! According to the new AAP guidelines, all children from six months to eighteen years old should receive an annual flu shot vaccine injection even though flu shots have been scientifically shown to be effective on only about one percent of those receiving them!

But here's the most disturbing part: The AAP is now aggressively attacking anyone who suggests flu shot vaccines should be spaced apart or skipped altogether in order to reduce the vaccine burden on a child.

Promotion for PC Angela Cornes Who Ignored Victim Banaz Mahmod

A police officer whose blunders were criticised after Britain’s most notorious “honour” killing has escaped punishment after the collapse of disciplinary proceedings against her.

When a bleeding and distressed Banaz Mahmod told PC Angela Cornes that her father had just tried to murder her, the officer dismissed her as a melodramatic drunk. Instead of investigating the young woman’s allegations, she wanted to charge her with criminal damage for breaking a window during her escape.

Three weeks later, Miss Mahmod, 20, was raped, tortured and strangled at her South London home. Her body was put in a suitcase and buried in the garden of a house in Birmingham.

Horrendous Animal Abuse that Puts Your Turkey On The Table

More than 72 million of the nearly 270 million turkeys killed for food every year in the U.S. are slaughtered for holiday meals.
This year, just prior to the flesh-focused Thanksgiving holiday, PETA conducted an undercover investigation lasting more than two months at the factory farms of Aviagen Turkeys, Inc., the self-proclaimed "world's leading poultry breeding company."

While working at a series of Aviagen factory farms in West Virginia, PETA's investigator documented that workers tortured, mutilated, and maliciously killed turkeys. The following are just a few of the documented offenses:

Employees stomped on turkeys' heads, punched turkeys, hit them on the head with a can of spray paint and pliers, and struck turkeys' heads against metal scaffolding.

Men shoved feces and feed into turkeys' mouths and held turkeys' heads under water. Another bragged about jamming a broom stick 2 feet down a turkey's throat.

A supervisor said he saw workers kill 450 turkeys with 2-by-4s.

One man said he saw a coworker fatally inject turkey semen and sulfuric acid into turkeys' heads.

Europe's Secret Plan To Boost GM Crop Production

Gordon Brown and other European leaders are secretly preparing an unprecedented campaign to spread GM crops and foods in Britain and throughout the continent, confidential documents obtained by The Independent on Sunday reveal.

The documents – minutes of a series of private meetings of representatives of 27 governments – disclose plans to "speed up" the introduction of the modified crops and foods and to "deal with" public resistance to them.

Cop Tries Choking Detainee To Get Evidence That Wasn't There

people at StoptheDrugWar.com posted this news report regarding a police officer who arrested man who was believed, by the officer to have marijuana. The cop couldn't find the marijuana so he then assumed the man was swallowing it. To prevent this the officer then began chocking the man, who was restrained in handcuffs and who didn't try to fight or resist in any way.
It is bad news when cops think they have the right to choke restrained individuals period. And any cop who so thinks should be removed from duty permanently. A local judge in Mount Juliet, TN, where the cop assaulted the man, was so dismayed by the unprovoked attack he threw the officer out of his court and told him he would dismiss any case he files. I don't blame the judge. This office is unreliable. I'll go further, this officer is a criminal.
