Voting in Britain for War. Take Your Pick

All three party leaders are warmongers. Nick Clegg, the Liberal Democrats leader and darling of former Blair lovers, says that as prime minister he will “participate” in another invasion of a “failed state” provided there is “the right equipment, the right resources”. His one condition is the standard genuflection towards a military now scandalised by a colonial cruelty of which the Baha Mousa case is but one of many.

For Clegg, as for Gordon Brown and David Cameron, the horrific weapons used by British forces, such as clusters, depleted uranium and the Hellfire missile, which sucks the air out of its victims’ lungs, do not exist. The limbs of children in trees do not exist. This year alone Britain will spend £4 billion on the war in Afghanistan, and that is what Brown and Cameron almost certainly intend to cut from the National Health Service.'

British Bill to Protect Israelis From Prosecution

The British government will introduce legislation early in the new year to stop Israeli ministers and officials facing arrest for war crimes every time they visit the UK.

The move is intended to calm Israeli fury after Tzipi Livni, the opposition party leader and foreign minister at the time of the Gaza invasion a year ago, was forced to abandon a trip to London this month because pro-Palestinian activists obtained a warrant for her arrest.

Gordon Brown, the British prime minister, and the foreign secretary, David Miliband, have been deeply embarrassed by the incident, saying the threat of legal action against Israeli officials is hampering their efforts to bring peace to the Middle East.'

Government Backs Down on Veto of Banker Bonuses

A fresh row over City bonuses is set to engulf ministers after it emerged last night that 200 executives at Lloyds, the partly state-owned bank, are set to receive one-off payments worth up to 80 per cent of their annual salaries.

They will receive the money for integrating Lloyds with HBOS, which has led to more than 11,000 job losses at the combined bank since January.

It comes amid signs that the Government will not stop Royal Bank of Scotland, which is 70 per cent owned by the State, from paying massive bonuses to 20,000 investment bankers.

The Treasury had indicated earlier this week that it would veto a £1.5 billion payout to executives, a 50 per cent rise on last year.

But Gordon Brown and Lord Mandelson stepped back from confrontation after the RBS board threatened to resign.'

Gordon Brown Plans Troops Surge in Afghanistan

Thousands more troops could be sent to Afghanistan within months under an emergency review of the UK mission being carried out by the Ministry of Defence.

The news of a possible troop surge comes after eight British soldiers were killed within 24 hours, leading to fresh calls from senior military and political figures for urgent reinforcements - and an end to Treasury constraints on spending on the Afghan war.

Brown Forced to Open Iraq Inquiry to Public Scrutiny

Gordon Brown climbed down yesterday in the face of a growing revolt over his announcement that the inquiry into the Iraq war would be held in private.

Only three days after saying the investigation would be held behind closed doors, the Prime Minister disclosed that some hearings could take place in public after all. His retreat was revealed exclusively in The Independent yesterday.

Acting Fabian

Since January, the world’s eyes have focused on the United States’ new president, Barack Obama.

This is understandable. Obama’s charisma and electioneering slogan of "change" ignited imaginations in America and around the globe. And now "change" is happening; instead of Big Government it’s Even Bigger Government, and instead of unmanageable debt levels its incomprehensible debt levels. In world affairs President Obama has taken a decidedly international-friendly approach. Even so, Barack is the new man on the block, and his public endorsement of global governance – while real and documentable[2] – is relatively mild compared to his fellow traveler across the Big Pond. So far…

If anyone has been a trumpeter for global change, it’s England’s Prime Minister Gordon Brown. Since taking office in 2007, Mr. Brown has incessantly called for a new internationalism. Listening to his speeches, it appears that the Prime Minister is more interested in supporting an empowered United Nations and European super-state, rather than advancing an independent, free, and prosperous Britain.

Outcry Over Government's Decision to Hold Iraq War Inquiry in Secret

Gordon Brown faced accusations of a fix and an “Establishment stitch-up” yesterday after ruling that the long-awaited Iraq war inquiry would be in secret and not report until after the general election.

The Prime Minister came under attack from MPs on all sides, as well as from families of troops killed in the conflict, after insisting that hearings could not be held in public for reasons of national security.

He also surprised MPs by saying that the inquiry, by a committee of privy counsellors headed by a former Whitehall mandarin, would not seek to apportion blame. Critics said that the committee did not have enough military or political experience.

Happy Deathday England, Love ZanuLabour

Today England awoke to a thumping headache, a nation teetering on the brink of bankruptcy and economic collapse, after a budget that could only really be described as having been farted directly from the bowels of Satan himself. Well, if only he could have taken the time to tune his sphincter before billowing forth such an unholy collection of cacophonous garbage, because as far as I can tell, the entire shambolic mess does not stack up to the harsh scrutiny expected from a particularly learning impaired five year old.

That is not to even mention the fact that the national debt that we have now been saddled with, and are being forced to pay for, is illegal and illegitimate. Words that this regime are becoming quite comfortable with by all accounts, well after all, if the shoe fits, eh?

It’s nice to know that whilst those of us brave enough to still be proud of this country (after everything these criminals have done to it over the last 10 years) are busy attempting, via their best imitation of “stiff up a lip”, “muck in and get on with it” stoicism, to celebrate our national patron saints day, we are smacked rudely in the face yet again by the Vogonesque inter-planetary demolition squad that is New Labour.

Oh, but don’t worry folks, good old Auntie Beeb is on hand to help “reframe” any misguided patriotic impulses we may have into something more obscure and politically correct for the times. After all, there once was a nation called England, according to some bizarre myth that nobody really believes any more. No Common Purpose there then, no Siree.'

So where are the dambusters when you need them? Somebody should just drop a few well placed bouncing bombs on the whole stinking lot of these scurrilously treasonous ratbags. Well, let me give you all a small clue :

The clock is ticking. It is 5 minutes to midnight. Either we remove these inept, evil and rapacious tyrants from power and take our country back, or there will be nothing left to argue about, or indeed anyone to argue about it with, in a few years from now.

What better way to celebrate St George’s day?

Only in America Can You...

Destroy crime scene evidence of the mass murder of 3,000 people and tell a multitude of lies about some cave dwelling patsies and the people will flock to you for protection, cheering you on as you strut about the Nuremberg podium at the WTC.

Tell 1,000 lies or more to scare Americans into invading a country that was NO harm to the USA and had NOTHING to do with 9/11 and your reward is a cushy retirement, with the best medical care in the world, living in a multimillion dollar home you bought with "campaign" donations, get protected 24/7 by SS agents and stand to make around 20 million for speaking fees.

Spy on the USA, handing over business and military secrets to our "friend" and get rewarded by getting elevated to chair a House committee on Homeland Security and in the process of serving Israel, reap in a fortune worth around 500 million.

Torture some poor bastard to death and make snuff movies about it so you can watch them in the privacy of your room later on and beat off to the sounds of the man's death rattle... and get promoted.

Illegally spy on Americans, eviscerating the Bill of Rights, then brag about it to your DOJ head and have a good laugh.

Loot Wall Street pension funds and 401K retirement accounts for trillions and your "punishment" is to get rewarded several trillion more from your buds in the Treasury department.

Butcher thousands of Lebanese and Palestinians and not only see an increase of weaponry delivered to support the next blood soaked invasion, but have US Senators and Reps fighting one another to see who can get to the microphone first to profess their loyalty and undying love of all things Apartheid.
But goddamn it, if we catch you smoking pot, we'll arrest your ass so fast your head will spin.
Since 2000, how many Americans have been arrested for marijuana possession?

FIVE MILLION
Since 2001, how many of the politicians that lied the US into an illegal and immoral war against Iraq and have helped loot Wall Street have been arrested and tried for their crimes?

ZERO, not counting "Scooter" LIbby, who had his sentence for perjury commuted.
This is not just in America, It is happening in every continent on the planet to one extent or another

Gordon Brown Urges US Congress to Help Him Save the World

"I come now to talk of new and different battles we must fight together, to speak of a global economy in crisis and a planet imperilled," he said.

Mr Brown, who did not make his usual claim that the economic crisis began in the US, hailed American innovation as he appealed for it to lead the world out of the economic "hurricane" and protect the planet from climate change.

"I say we should seize the moment, because never before have I seen a world so willing to come together," he said. "Never before has that been more needed, and never before have the benefits of co-operation been so far reaching."

He added: "I believe that you, the nation that had the vision to put a man on the Moon, are also the nation with the vision to protect and preserve our planet Earth."

Brown: World Needs 'Global New Deal'

The world needs a "global New Deal" to haul it out of the economic crisis it faces, Prime Minister Gordon Brown of the United Kingdom said Sunday.

"We need a global New Deal -- a grand bargain between the countries and continents of this world -- so that the world economy can not only recover but... so the banking system can be based on... best principles," he said, referring to the 1930s American plan to fight the Great Depression.

Brown Announces Another £500 Billion Bank Bailout

The Prime Minister is to unveil a series of key measures that will see the Government insure the ‘toxic assets’ of major lenders and pump around £14 billion into the mortgage market through Northern Rock.

On Thursday, the Treasury is expected to announce plans to form a “toxic bank”, using taxpayers’ money to insure £500 billion of bad debt.

In addition, Mr Brown has signalled that he wants a return to more ‘sober’ banking practices, with a possible ban on 100 per cent mortgages to ensure people must save a deposit before buying a house.

Bailed-out Banks to Add £1.5 Trillion to Public Debt

Royal Bank of Scotland and Lloyds TSB, the two banks bailed out by the Government, are to add between £1 trillion and £1.5 trillion to the public debt, the equivalent of between 70 and 100 per cent of GDP, the Office for National Statistics indicated this morning.

Britain’s public sector net debt is already a record high, hitting 47.8 per cent of GDP in January, official figures show. This is the highest level of debt recorded since the ONS started recording data in 1993.

The ONS said that it had decided to add the banks to the Government's books because "the Government has the ability to control the respective banks’ general corporate policy through the conditions associated with the agreements signed relating to recapitalisation."

However the dismal figures do not paint the whole picture, as all the liabilities of the banks are added to the public books, and only the liquid assets are taken into account. The capital assets are not included.

'Peer for Hire' Lord Truscott Grabs £70,000 Housing Perk

LORD TRUSCOTT, one of four peers named in the “lords for hire” scandal, has taken at least £70,000 in allowances for overnight accommodation in London while staying at his home in the capital.

Truscott, 49, now receives £28,000-a-year tax free by telling House of Lords’ authorities that his main residence is a modest flat in Bath, Somerset.

He uses the allowance to maintain a £700,000 flat he owns in Mayfair, central London, with his Russian wife, Svetlana. He bought the property in Bath months after becoming eligible to claim the allowance.

Corrupt and Fraudulent Peers Will NOT Be Stripped Of Peerages

Lord Truscott - Corrupt
Lord Taylor- Corrupt

Lord Snape - Corrupt

Lord Moonie - Corrupt
There were calls for the law to be changed to allow unelected peers to be removed from the House of Lords if they are found guilty of breaking anti-corruption rules.

The four peers, including two former ministers, face a Parliamentary inquiry into allegations that they pledged to amend laws in return for payments from lobbyists. They were secretly recorded in an undercover newspaper sting apparently pledging to seek changes to proposed laws as paid consultants for a foreign businessman.

Senior MPs said that the actions of the peers would amount to "corruption" if proven and Chris Huhne, the Liberal Democrat Home Affairs spokesman, called for the police to investigate the claims.

The public standards watchdog described the allegations as "serious" and threatened to intervene if necessary.

However, despite a recent review of the system of investigating complaints against peers, the most severe punishment that can be served is to demand a public apology.
Even if a Lord is prosecuted and jailed they are still free to return to the House upon release.
One of the Lords implicated in the lobbying scandal boasted to an undercover reporter that there was nothing that the Parliamentary authorities could do "but jump up and down".
And you can bet your bottom dollar that Cameron's and Clegg's Mob will be no better. They Just haven't been caught yet!

Revealed: Labour Lords Change Laws For Cash!

LABOUR peers are prepared to accept fees of up to £120,000 a year to amend laws in the House of Lords on behalf of business clients, a Sunday Times investigation has found.

Four peers — including two former ministers — offered to help undercover reporters posing as lobbyists obtain an amendment in return for cash.

Two of the peers were secretly recorded telling the reporters they had previously secured changes to bills going through parliament to help their clients.

Taylor told the reporters: “I will work within the rules, but the rules are meant to be bent sometimes.”

The other peers who agreed to assist our reporters for a fee were Lord Moonie, a former defence minister, and Lord Snape, a former Labour whip.

The disclosure that peers are “for hire” to help change legislation confirms persistent rumours in Westminster that lobbyists are targeting the Lords rather than the Commons, where MPs are under greater scrutiny.

NASA UFO Fraud Might Save Gary McKinnon

Evidence that U.S. space agency NASA has defrauded U.S. taxpayers for billions of dollars could scrap NASA’s case against UK hacker Gary McKinnon. Credible witnesses have claimed that NASA has altered or destroyed its photos containing images of UFOs. This could become a legal and public relations nightmare for NASA.

Bank Of England To Secretly Print Money

The Bank of England will be able to print extra money without having legally to declare it under new plans which will heighten fears that the Government will secretly pump extra cash into the economy.

The Government is set to throw out the 165-year-old law that obliges the Bank to publish a weekly account of its balance sheet -- a move that will allow it theoretically to embark covertly on so-called quantitative easing. The Banking Bill, which is currently passing through Parliament, abolishes a key section of the law laid down by Robert Peel's Government in 1844 that originally granted the Bank the sole right to print UK money.

Brown Vows New Alliance For Change With Obama

Gordon Brown will today use his New Year message to broker a new "coalition for change" with Barack Obama on the economy, the environment and the war on terrorism.Despite the global economic storm, Britain and the US will work closely on tackling climate change, including a successor to the Kyoto Protocol at next year's Copenhagen summit, Mr Brown says in his traditional turn-of-the-year address.
