The Mainstream, Corporate Media Is A Propaganda Mill

The Twentieth Century Fox Corporation is not unique in spreading propaganda, but they are rare in admitting it. Rupert Murdoch, himself in 2003, admitted that his Fox company helped to sell George W. Bush's Iraqi-Afghani wars to the American public.

What a guy! Murdoch helped to sell wars that have made America a psychotic outlaw in the family of civilized nations, and destroyed her economy in the process.

Fox, also, promoted the man-made global warming scam with its popular TV shows the Simpsons, Family Guy, King of the Hill, and Prison Break.

Dana Walden, Fox chairman said, "The most powerful way we could communicate the commitment on behalf of our company, was to change the practices within production, as well as work in a message about global warming, about environmental changes, about empowering people to take responsibilities."

"Empowering people to take responsibilities" is Walden's double-speak for weakening people with new carbon taxes, all going to the International Banking Cartel's World Bank, supposedly in order to save and clean up our environment.'

As reporter Sebastian Jones points out (see this and this), former Congressman Richard Gephardt runs a lobbying firm representing giant insurance and pharmaceutical companies.

Retired General Barry McCaffrey sits on the board of a giant defense contractor, DynCorp, and lobbies for war.

And many other "pundits" interviewed by the mainstream news are really high-level lobbyists for giant companies, pushing their agendas.

And yet they are treated as "independent experts" by the media.'

In the documentary, "Demographic Bomb," the Director of the UN Population Division, Hania Zlotnick admits the UN got women in developing countries to sterilize themselves by having TV stars do it in soap operas.

In developed countries, the Illuminati bankers have achieved the same goal in similar fashion by pushing promiscuity and homosexuality in the mass media.

In a famous 1969 memo, Rockefeller-sponsored Planned Parenthood VP Frederick Jaffe proposed the following measures to reduce U.S. fertility: (a) encourage increased homosexuality,(b) fertility control agents in water supply, (c) encourage women to work, (d) abortion and sterilization on demand, and (e) make contraception truly available and accessible to all.

The mass media is the mental "water supply." It defines "norms" (acceptable behavior) and therefore reshapes behavior. You can't watch television without seeing aggressive career women showing up men and engaging in promiscuous sex, often with each other. Homosexuality is treated as normal, the "cool" and "edgy" thing. The Illuminati have moved the goalposts, and created a new bogus reality. They have decreased the birth rate in the United States as surely as in Bangladesh.

An illustration of how tightly controlled the TV plot-lines are: This week, 90 television shows are promoting "volunteerism" in their stories. They don't tell you what else they have promoting over the years, but it's plain to see: racism, i.e. the disappearance of race through interracial marriages; disappearance of religion and family (feminism); and the fore mentioned promiscuity and homosexuality. This agenda is mirrored in the school system.

State Run News: ABC Turns Programming Over To Government

Completely dispensing with any notion of independence or impartiality, ABC News is set to mimic the likes of Communist China and North Korea by completely turning its news coverage over to the government and excluding any dissenting opinions to promote President Obama’s health care agenda.

The night of Wednesday June 24th will officially herald the open commencement of state run news, imitating similar systems in historical dictatorships such as the Soviet Union, where Pravda was the official propaganda organ of the Central Committee of the Communist Party from 1912 to 1991.

In China, the vast majority of news outlets are completely owned and controlled by the Communist Party. Negative viewpoints about government policy are blocked and news developments that could reflect badly on China are ignored and censored. An almost identical system of media also exists in Stalinist North Korea.

Still, at least the Chinese and the North Koreans don’t try to hide the fact that the press is state run, unlike ABC News, owned by the corporate giant Walt Disney Company, which masquerades as an independent news outlet yet in little over a week will completely turn over its news coverage to act as enthusiastic propagandist for the government’s health care “reform” program.

Obama Appointee Wants Soviet Style Media

It’s bad enough the Obama administration has pledged trillions to “bailout” the bankers and has made moves to control business in the private sector. Now they want a Soviet-styled media financed and run by the government.

In the former Soviet Union, Pravda was an organ of the CPSU Central Committee, while Izvestiya was published by the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet.

Ms. Brooks is advocating a likewise scheme here in America, formerly a land that respected the idea of an independent press and the First Amendment. She would put an end to all of this once and for all with her suggestion that media be licensed by the state.

Brooks said her authoritarian scheme would help rescue the corporate media from a “death spiral” and left the government unaccountable to the journalists who must keep it honest. “[I] can’t imagine anything more dangerous than a society in which the news industry has more or less collapsed,” she wrote.

If we have bad teachers, information sources, or dishonest experiences, we don't learn all we need to learn. If we are lied to, it is worse. We are hindered in our ability to judge what is real and true. We can not make valid conclusions, as we spoke about in our last report. That's why we have to spend the effort to use critical thinking and check things out for ourselves.

It is becoming popular to moan the death of US newspapers. Americans like to be romantic, nostalgic, when things pass on. But the truth is newspapers are not just dying because of the Internet, shrinking advertising and dismal profits.US newspapers are dying because they became the prostitutes of commercialism and stopped telling the truth.

Many people stopped buying newspapers because they became the rags of a corrupt industry.

Too many journalists swallowed their pride, ignored their integrity and did what they had to do to pay the mortgage. They followed the marching orders of editors and publishers who forgot, or never knew, what journalism was intended to do.

Television news became entertainment, a boiling sea of lies and half truths. It focuses on a few murders to hypnotize Americans. It sensationalizes and fuels the inherent racism. When it comes to promoting the war and warmongering corporations, no one does it better than television news, regurgitating US press releases as if those were truth.

UN: Israel Broke Six-month Truce in Gaza

A new UN report exposes a bit of misinformation peddled by the US and Israel and shatters the Zionist illusion that the Gaza war was legal.

The report, prepared by human rights investigator Richard Falk, confirms that Tel Aviv was indeed the party that violated the Egyptian-brokered six-month truce in Gaza.

Israel and the democratically elected Palestinian government confined to the Gaza Strip agreed in mid June 2008 to a six-month truce. While reports indicated that Tel Aviv had initially broken the truce with its tanks and bulldozers crossing the southern border of the Gaza Strip on November 4 and 5, echelons in the United States and Israel insisted otherwise.

A widespread campaign in support of the alleged Israeli right to enter the Palestinian territory was then launched by US and Israeli media outlets.

The portrayal of teenage boys as "yobs" in the media has made the boys wary of other teenagers, according to new research.
Figures show more than half of the stories about teenage boys in national and regional newspapers in the past year (4,374 out of 8,629) were about crime. The word most commonly used to describe them was "yobs" (591 times), followed by "thugs" (254 times), "sick" (119 times) and "feral" (96 times).
Other terms often used included "hoodie", "louts", "heartless", "evil" "frightening", "scum", "monsters", "inhuman" and "threatening".

Move to End "Internet Neutrality": Blow to Bloggers. "Ten Pin Strike against Political Freedom"

If the cable and phone companies that transmit Internet data are allowed to charge higher rates to some producers for faster service the result will be “a ten pin strike against political freedom,” a prominent legal authority warns.

Under the new scheme sought by transmission firms, Velvel writes, “large companies would pay more, no doubt a lot more, in order to have their messages, videos, audios, and any other content transmitted rapidly. The rest of us peasants, who could not afford to have our content move fast, would pay less and have it move more slowly.”

“One can be sure that the average guy with something he wants to say will be relegated to lower speed transmissions,” Velvel writes. “Blogdom, and the use of the internet by average people for political purposes, will likely be as good as dead.”

Difficulty Of Being An Informed American

The American print and TV media have never been very good. These days they are horrible. If people intend to be informed, they must turn to foreign news broadcasts, to Internet sites, to foreign newspapers available on the Internet, or to alternative newspapers that are springing up in various cities. A person who sits in front of Murdoch's Fox "News" or CNN or who reads the New York Times is simply being brainwashed with propaganda.

Before conservatives nod their heads in agreement, I'm not referring to "the liberal media." I mean the propaganda that issues from the US government and the Israel Lobby.

During the Second World War the Japanese press reflected government policy, and if the government was mad so was the press. Later, when Britain entered the war, a BBC broadcaster named George Orwell lied through his teeth to conceal the systematic bombing of German civilians by the RAF, and he wasn’t the only one.

Parents Believe Watching Television Is Good For Children

Despite the negativity often associated with children watching television, eight out of 10 parents questioned believed it has a positive effect on their child's development, including helping them to expand their imagination (63 per cent) and broaden their vocabulary (60 per cent).
Three quarters of parents do not feel guilty about their child watching television and when appropriately managed and supervised, believe it can have a positive influence in a child's life, according to psychologist Tanya Byron.

The report, Children and Television Today, surveyed 1,880 parents of children aged between two and 11, through Mumsnet.com, a parenting website. The study was commissioned by Freeview, the digital television service.
