The Israeli premier has said that it will put pressure on US President Barack Obama to release an Israeli spy, who was sentenced for life in the US nearly 25 years ago.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that he is considering a public plea to Obama to free imprisoned Jonathan Pollard in the coming days, his office said on Tuesday.
Washington has not made any comments on the matter yet.
US-born Pollard was jailed 25 years ago. His case however remains a source of tension between the United States and Israel.'
