Israeli soldiers have killed a 60 year-old Palestinian woman during an overnight raid on a village in the occupied West Bank.
Mariam Ayyad who was trying to block the soldiers from entering her home in Abu-Dis, was pushed away and fell down the stairs and struck her head, witnesses said.
The director of the clinic where Mariam was taken said that she arrived dead, with a broken skull and possible internal bleeding, Reuters reported Sunday.
The Israeli military confirmed the death but said the cause of her death was a heart attack.
Nesrin Jasan, an Abu Dis doctor who inspected Mariam's body however said, "The cause of death was being pushed to the ground and being struck in the head.
" Israeli soldiers also killed a 14 year-old Palestinian teenager from Asira al-Kabaliya village in the northern West Bank on Saturday
