David Cameron was shocked when he resigned to draw attention to civil liberties, but Mr Davis insists he has no regrets.
Many in the Conservatives hoped that Mr Davis would become an influential figure on the backbenches who could speak up for the right-wing of the party on matters such as tax and education. He looks set not to disappoint.
Last week, in one of his first major interviews since being re-elected to Parliament, Mr Davis revealed that he has been hard at work over the summer considering some of the major issues threatening Britain and politicians.

Well he certainly hasn't been doing anything about the constant attack on civil liberties or the Big Brother State he was so vehemently and falsley against back in June. Since then we havent heard a peep out of him and there is nothing in this article to show it was anything but a headline grabbing scam!
