Well said Marcy but I think it fell on deaf ears! This is of course the manner to start taking back control of their financial system, however I believe that the majority of representatives in the house will not back her bill for any of a number of reasons, mainly because they are receiving back handers and they don´t have the balls to go against the oligarchs! Although I am totaly in accord with Marcy, that NOW is the time to start to take back CONTROL.

We heard you, Congresswoman. You are the first politician, from my vantage point, who spoke the truth and give solutions. We need more of your tribe. I hope you do not become an endangered specie. In this era and this place, it seems that the truth no longer counts. Only lies and cover-ups. Do you ever wonder why there is such a hurry in passing this bailout? And why they inject fear? And if we buy in to it, because we do not want to feel a bit of discomfort, we suffer more and the disease lingers until it finally kills us all. I believe you that this is the time for all the reforms. But would the others in your Congress chime in? Or do they love their payola so much, they would barter their souls, integrity and honor for a bit of pottage? rk
What a great speach. Sadly honest people who have human needs ahead of stinking corporate needs seldomly do well. I wish america luck as whatever happens there happens over here in the uk.
The future may be painful, but today's failure of this ridiculous bailout was a victory for the American people!!! It's time for us to take back our country from these corrupt greedy politicians!
