Gordon Browns Payoff: 'First Choice' For Head of IMF

Gordon Brown wants one of the world’s most important economic jobs as head of the International Monetary Fund, according to his closest school friend.

Tom Brown said that his 59-year-old pal believes he has “one big job left in him”.

And IMF insiders are thought to consider the former Prime Minister the ideal candidate to take over when France’s Dominique Strauss-Kahn’s term
ends in 2012.'

The Man Who Stole Your Old Age: How Gordon Brown Secretly Imposed a Ruinous Tax That Has Wrecked the Retirements of Millions

The Brown cabal needed to find ways to raise extra tax revenues for the wide-ranging programme of reforms New Labour planned.

So, on one fateful night in that suite overlooking Hyde Park, they decided that, once in power, they would launch a massive multi-billion-pound raid on a gold-plated, copper-bottomed sector of the British economy - its pension funds.'

Please, Not Another Copenhagen

Today, the high-level advisory group on climate change financing will meet for the first time in London. The group will be chaired by Gordon Brown and his Ethiopian counterpart Meles Zenawi, and will include many finance ministers as well as independent financial experts like Lord Nicholas Stern and George Soros.

This gathering of financial "wizards" has been asked identify new ways to raise the money needed to protect all of us from the risks of dangerous climate change. Conservative estimates put this requirement at around $150bn (£100bn) a year by 2020. The figure seems high, but represents just a fraction of the world's annual spending on military budgets, which today tops $1.2tn. It is no longer far-fetched to suggest that reducing climate risk is every bit as necessary as more conventional methods of protecting national interests.'

Explain Why You Sold Britain's Gold, Gordon Brown Told

The decision to sell the gold – taken by Mr Brown when he was Chancellor – is regarded as one of the Treasury's worst financial mistakes and has cost taxpayers almost £7 billion.

Mr Brown and the Treasury have repeatedly refused to disclose information about the gold sale amid allegations that warnings were ignored.

Following a series of freedom of information requests from The Daily Telegraph over the past four years, the Information Commissioner has ordered the Treasury to release some details. The Treasury must publish the information demanded within 35 calendar days – by the end of April.

The sale is expected to be become a major election issue, casting light on Mr Brown's decisions while at the Treasury.'

Revealed: British Premier Gordon Brown Is A Paedophile

By Mike James in Germany – 28 February 2010

In the early months of 2003, just prior to the illegal invasion of Iraq, and working in conjunction with a London-based freelance journalist who had thoroughly double-checked exposures published by the Scottish ‘Sunday Herald’ newspaper, I publicised details of a child-sex ring linked to senior ministers within the Blair government.

I initially published my findings, stemming from discreet leaks from a secret list provided by the American FBI to the ‘Sunday Times’ newspaper, and concomitantly discovered that Tony Blair had issued a gagging order to suppress all further discussion of a scandal that would most certainly have brought a swift end to his administration and made Britain’s collusion in the destruction of Iraq impossible.

The articles I wrote concerning the “Operation Ore” cover-up and the 100-year blackout order imposed upon the report concerning the Dunblane massacre of children used and abused by senior Scottish Labour government ministers can still be found here.'

Brown to Give Evidence to the Iraq Inquiry

Next week brings Brown to the table to give his account of the circumstances leading to the war in Iraq..... but is there really any point in this sham of an inquiry?

So far we have seen everyone on stage pontificating into their own self esteem and clearly showing their allegiance to the prince of war crimes - Tony Blair.

Will Brown reveal something so spectacular that will have us all riveted to your seats? Will he turn on the guy that he never got along with or will it be a case of self preservation for the Labour Party? Either way one can be assured that the questions will be so carefully chosen and Brown just like his predecessor will have all the answers carefully laid out before him.'

The American People's Gold - It's All Gone

Remember a few years ago when the Rothschilds suddenly and inexplicably
walked away from their 200 year seat on the London Fix?

Here is an article, written by an American, that is so damning that nowhere in the media could it get published but in Pakistan. When this story broke, it was played as though there were just a few fake gold bars floating around out there. Not so, it seems.'

Inside the Brown Operation: the Loathing, the Cluelessness and the Sulks

Remember Peter Watt? No one in Team Brown did either –and that, it now turns out, was a big mistake. As general secretary of the Labour Party when the Blair-Brown handover happened (and cash-for-honours was in the air) he was in a brilliant position to know what went on. And, after being abandoned by all of them, he has a motive to tell.'

Brown 'Crackdown' on Yemen Terror is Exposed as Just Spin

Gordon Brown was accused of 'playing politics with terrorism' yesterday as the British Embassy in Yemen was evacuated after 'credible' threats of an attack by the Al Qaeda cell behind the syringe bomb plot.
The Prime Minister was forced into an embarrassing climbdown after Downing Street claimed that he was spearheading a Yemen terror crackdown with Barack Obama.
Mr Brown had to admit today that he had not even discussed the issue with the American President since the attack that nearly brought down a transatlantic airliner on Christmas Day.'

Brown Irked by Plan for Antiwar Demo

British Prime Minister Gordon Brown says he is appalled by an Islamic group's proposal to demonstrate against the UK's continuation of war in Afghanistan.

In a Monday statement issued in response to calls by the Islam4UK group for a protest march in the country, Brown expressed strong dismay at the plan and said he was “personally appalled” by the group's bid to protest against the government's war policies in Afghanistan.'

It's Howdy Doody Terror Time!

Yes, friends and neighbors and all you little kiddies watching the Howdy Doody show; “What time is it? What time is it? It’s Howdy Doody Terror Time!!!” It’s Richard Reid Redux. Was he setting his shoe on fire? Was he just setting off fireworks? Was he going to ignite the powder and chase the dragon in the economy seats? It depends on whether you are reading foreign or domestic news.

Well, he’s from Nigeria and they have oil. The Somalis must have some oil too and they’ve got lots of toxic wastes also. Whose toxic wastes are they? Who’s shipping their sludge to Somali? And… how come Richard Reid’s shoe never exploded and who were the three guys that jumped powder-boy and saved the day and didn’t even have to call their relatives on a cell phone at 35,000 feet? These are all good questions.

Gordon Brown and Dragul Netanyahoo are talking about the next big terror thing. They have to be don’t they? They’re involved in setting it up. Obama (rhymes with Osama) would be talking about it with them but Obama isn’t really involved in the planning because he’s lucky if he can tie his shoes. No… Obama’s people do his talking for him, which means that either Rahm (definitely not Emmanuel) or Hilarious Clinton are probably in the room with Dragul and Gordon; could be Nazgul Negroponte and it could be Dick Cheney, cause he may still be running the White House under the aegis of his Israeli handler .'

Now Gordon Brown Wants to Police the Entire World – How Controlling Can a Freak Get?

Quasimodo in Number 10, hunched, scowling over his desk, has devised yet another plan to police, to increase surveillance, to indulge his obsession with extending his short-lived control over as many people as possible. Gordon Brown, who now seems to have lost his last tenuous grip on reality, wants the European Union to police the carbon emissions of the whole world. That is the leitmotif of New Labour – and, by extension, all Westminster – government: control, bans, observation, intrusion, diktat.

Balked of a legal agreement on imaginary manmade global warming at Copenhagen, Quasimodo and Nicolas Sarkozy are working on plans to create a “European monitoring organisation” to oversee different countries’ actions on carbon emissions. Barack Obama – the leading control freak in the liberal pantheon – has suggested spy satellites could be used.

Quasimodo told reporters: “We’re in favour of transparency; we’re in favour of looking at what’s happening not just in our country and our own continent, but around the world.” That isn’t transparency: that is snooping. “We’re in favour of transparency” – from a New Labour Prime Minister! Goebbels, who always favoured the Big Lie, would have loved it.'

The Green Hypocrites: Prince Charles and Gordon Brown Take Separate Jets... to Lecture the World on Global Warming

Prince Charles and Gordon Brown were accused last night of ‘green hypocrisy’ after jetting into Copenhagen to lecture the world about global warming.

Charles used the £1,019-an-hour Queen’s Flight so he could deliver a keynote speech to the climate change conference, flying back after less than three hours.

The Prime Minister chartered a 185-seat Airbus to take him and 20 aides to Denmark for their four-day trip.'

Gordon Brown Snubbed by Soldiers' 'Curtain' Protest

Gordon Brown was snubbed by badly injured Afghan veterans when they closed curtains round their beds during a hospital visit and refused to speak to him.

More than half the soldiers being treated at the Selly Oak hospital ward in Birmingham either asked for the curtains to be closed or deliberately avoided the prime minister, according to several of those present.

The soldiers, who have sustained some of the worst injuries seen in Afghanistan, described his visit as “opportunistic” and a “waste of time”.'

Gordon Brown Ignores Climategate, Proposes £10 Billion Fund to Fight Climate Change

Gordon Brown proposed a new global fund today to "kickstart" the Copenhagen climate change process and encourage poorer countries to start cutting greenhouse gas emissions immediately.

Just days ahead of the vital UN-sponsored climate change conference in the Danish capital, Mr Brown proposed a £10 billion rich-world fund - to which Britain would contribute £800 million - to give incentives to developing countries to halt deforestation, develop low-carbon energy sources and prepare for the effects of a warmer climate.'

Brown Loses His Cool: PM's Fightback Backfires as He Tries to Storm Out of TV Interview

Gordon Brown' s political fightback was in tatters today after he lost his cool during a media blitz aimed at putting to bed doubts over his leadership.

The Prime Minister became furious as he conducted a string of interviews, claiming he was not being allowed to talk about policy or give full answers to questions.

At one point, Mr Brown tried to walk off at the end of a fiery exchange with Sky's political editor Adam Boulton.

But the move descended into farce because he was still linked up to a microphone and had not realised he was supposed to stay put for the next interview.

Oh Gord, He Has a Cunning Plan

First, the rumours are true. Brown is shouting, screaming, hurling objects around the room, behaving like a maniac. In other words, business as usual. This is how he operates — and has done since he cocooned himself in the Treasury 12 years ago.

It may seem bonkers to promise free healthcare to the Nepalese when so many British kids can’t read and write. But he’ll do so this month.

It seems crazy apologising for the way gay computer pioneer Alan Turing was treated in 1954 — when Gordo was three years old.

Our PM was 49 when he sold the nation’s gold reserves for $275 an ounce. It passed $1,000 last week. Where’s our apology for that?

Gordon Brown Billed Taxpayer for Two Second Homes

Mr Brown, who "flipped" the designation of his second home before moving into Downing Street, submitted an estimated electricity bill for his home in Fife which partly covered a period when his London flat was his designated second home.

He also claimed for council tax and service charge bills for his London flat which included periods when his second home was in Scotland.

Gordon Brown Fights for his Political Life

In a move that left the Prime Minister fighting for his political future, rebels claimed that as many as 50 Labour MPs were prepared to put their names to an email demanding that he step down.

Details of what party insiders described as an attempted “cyber coup” emerged after his authority was dealt a potentially critical blow by the resignation of Hazel Blears, the Communities Secretary.

Gordon Brown Aims to Delay Iraq War Inquiry Report Until After the General Election

Gordon Brown will announce by the autumn a "long" inquiry into the Iraq war, indicating that the potentially embarrassing report will be delayed until well after the general election expected next year.

Ministers have decided that the inquiry should be wide-ranging, possibly dating back to Margaret Thatcher's tacit support for Saddam Hussein during the Iran-Iraq war in the 1980s. Its main focus will be on the conduct of the 2003 war and the breakdown of law and order afterwards.

David Lidington, the shadow foreign minister, said: "I think the government are determined to avoid the report being published before the general election. But they do not have even a figleaf of an excuse for a further delay."
