Huge Israeli Bush Fires Incite Feud


As a massive bush fire continues to rage in northern Israel, Tel Aviv has come under strong criticism for not doing enough to contain the blaze.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who has been slammed for his handling of the situation, has already pleaded for foreign assistance to put out the inferno.

The blaze, named the Carmel fire, began on Thursday and swept across more than 10,000 acres of land in 24 hours.

At least 41 people have been killed and many others injured in what has been called the worst forest fire in the region in decades.
