The UK government has increased its bilateral trade with Israel despite concerns over war crimes committed by Tel Aviv authorities.
Those concerns prompted British trade unions to support an international initiative entitled “Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions campaign” against Israel.
Business and Enterprise Minister Mark Prisk said that bilateral trade with Israel topped £3.07 billion in 2009, surpassing the £3 billion target set in 2008. “In the first 8 months of 2010, bilateral trade grew by 44 percent”.'
