Israeli Airstrike Kills Three Palestinians

An Israeli airstrike on the southern part of the Gaza Strip has claimed the lives of three Palestinians, Palestinian medical sources have said.

The airstrike targeted the victims near the El Bureij refugee camp on Monday evening, AFP reported.

However, an Israeli army spokesman claimed that the people who were killed had been "preparing to fire rockets from the Gaza Strip into Israel".'
