Wholesale Treason, Why Israel Bought Congress
AIPAC, the Israel lobby used to, well, we don’t exactly know what they are “used to” but every politician in America is terrified of it for some reason, claims to have total control over the new congress.
It isn’t a “Jewish thing,” AIPAC got rid of 6 Jews who were too “pro-American” for their tastes. The last thing it is about is the security of Israel, a regional bully, a small land of ICBMs, germ warfare labs and warehouses loaded with American munitions which they sell around the world.'

Bankers are Above the Law in the US
A Morgan Stanley Wealth Manager, did a Hit and Run on a bicyclist in Colorado! He left the bicyclist for DEAD. He was found, but the police have opted to NOT charge him with a Felony of Hit and Run and only with a Misdemeanor, because they say it would "Hurt His Job and Pay"!!

This literally PROVES Bankers can get away with Murder or what ever else they want and there will be NO repercussions from it! This is why the people of the U.S. are getting Raped by the bankers and no one in government is doing a thing about it!'

R.I.P.: Al Gore’s Chicago Climate Exchange Has Died
Global warming-inspired cap and trade has been one of the most stridently debated public policy controversies of the past 15 years. But it is dying a quiet death. In a little reported move, the Chicago Climate Exchange (CCX) announced on Oct. 21 that it will be ending carbon trading – the only purpose for which it was founded – this year.'

Report: Biofuel is a Twin-Edged Catastrophe
A fresh report from the Danish Actionaid Denmark, Greenpeace and Noah organisations among others suggests that biofuel produced from maize or palm kernels causes two-and-a-half times as much CO2 emissions as traditional fuel.
The report, entitled “Anticipated Indirect Land Use Change Associated with Expanded Use of Biofuels in the EU“, says that increased greenhouse emissions will be the equivalent of an increase of between 12 and 26 million vehicles and mean between 81 percent and 167 percent more greenhouse gas emissions than fossil fuels.'

Legal Aid Withdrawn from Anti-Epilepsy Drug Case
A landmark legal case by families of children with physical and mental disabilities against a multinational pharmaceutical company is likely to be abandoned after legal aid was withdrawn.
The families say manufacturers of an anti-epilepsy drug taken by mothers in pregnancy should pay compensation because the children's conditions resulted from the medication.
But the government's Legal Services Commission, which is believed to have provided more than £3m to help the families prepare for the action, decided to end its financial support just three weeks before hearings were due to begin in the high court in London.'

Obama to Bypass Congress with Carbon Taxes?
In his nationally televised press conference, President Obama indicated that carbon taxes may be imposed on U.S. citizens through a move designed to bypass Congress altogether, Jerome Corsi’s Red Alert reports.
Knowing that the chances of getting cap-and-trade legislation through a Republican-controlled House and a Senate with a larger, more conservative Republican minority will be almost impossible, Obama suggested a backdoor route through the Environmental Protection Agency may be a way to accomplish the goal without requiring new legislation.'

Police State USA: Armed Police Teams Raid Unlicensed Barber Shops at Gunpoint
As many as 14 armed Orange County deputies, including narcotics agents, stormed Strictly Skillz barbershop during business hours on a Saturday in August, handcuffing barbers in front of customers during a busy back-to-school weekend.
It was just one of a series of unprecedented raid-style inspections the Orange County Sheriff's Office recently conducted with a state regulating agency, targeting several predominantly black- and Hispanic-owned barbershops in the Pine Hills area.
In "sweeps" on Aug. 21 and Sept. 17 targeting at least nine shops, deputies arrested 37 people — the majority charged with "barbering without a license," a misdemeanor that state records show only three other people have been jailed in Florida in the past 10 years.'

The Privatization of War: Mercenaries, Private Military and Security Companies (PMSC)
Private military and security companies (PMSC) are the modern reincarnation of a long lineage of private providers of physical force: corsairs, privateers and mercenaries. Mercenaries, which had practically disappeared during the XIXth and XXth centuries, reappeared in the 1960’s during the decolonization period operating mainly in Africa and Asia. Under the United Nations a convention was adopted which outlaws and criminalizes their activities. Additional Protocol I of the Geneva Conventions also contains a definition of mercenary.
These non-state entities of the XXIst century operate in extremely blurred situations where the frontiers are difficult to separate. The new security industry of private companies moves large quantities of weapons and military equipment. It provides services for military operations recruiting former militaries as civilians to carry out passive or defensive security.'

BP Blamed for Toxification

"I've been vomiting, my head feels like it's going to explode, diarrhoea, and I keep passing out," Miller, who worked in BP's so-called Vessels of Opportunity (VOO) oil response programme, said from his bed at Biloxi Regional Hospital on November 5.
Four days earlier, Miller, his wife and dog were boating on the Gulf of Mexico near one of Mississippi's barrier islands when all three of them fell ill.
"My wife and I felt the chemicals immediately and my dog even started hacking like he was trying to cough up a bone," Miller explained.'

West Bank Settlements Plans 'Disappoint' US

Jewish Chronicle Mocks Peer over Telling the Truth about Israel
Lord Phillips of Sudbury has become the target of media derision for remarks in the House of Commons regarding the 'legality' of Zionist regime.
The Liberal Democrat politician told a meeting of the Palestine Solidarity Campaign in the House of Commons earlier this week that everything Israel is currently doing, including the construction of the separation barrier, is “illegal.”
He said “the Wall [barrier] is illegal” and went on to ask “why has the British government never told Israel that?”
“Europe cannot think straight about Israel because of the Holocaust, and America is in the grip of the well-organised Jewish lobby,” Lord Phillips said, adding that the Israeli Minister of Foreign Affairs and Deputy Prime Minister, “[Avigdor] Lieberman is more racist than anyone on the Palestinian side.”
But the Jewish Chronicle wrote that Lord Phillips had “suggested that Israel was created only because of the guilt felt by the West after the Holocaust".'

We're Going After All Your Bank Details: Ministers Demand Earnings Figures in Crackdown on Welfare Fraud
Ministers are seeking access to the bank details of virtually everyone in the country to crack down on the £5billion lost to fraud and error in the welfare system each year.
The Government is to change the law to require the banks and private companies to hand over details of earnings by millions on out-of-work benefits and tax credits.

Greek PM Blackmails Voters Into Supporting Austerity
Greece's prime minister dropped his threat to call an early election Sunday, saying Greeks had shown in crucial local elections they wanted his government to continue with the austerity measures aimed at pulling the debt-ridden country out of a severe financial crisis.
But George Papandreou's governing Socialists lost significant ground to the opposition conservatives compared to their landslide win in general elections just over a year ago, while many voters showed their displeasure with the bracing austerity package by staying away. In a country where voting is compulsory, turnout for the Sunday poll was projected at around 60 percent.
Papandreou had threatened to call snap general elections if his governing socialist PASOK party fared badly in Sunday's vote for 13 regional governors and 325 mayors, billed as a referendum on the government's austerity measures.'

Unemployed - Four Weeks Of Slavery Or Lose Benefits
The unemployed will be ordered to do periods of compulsory full-time work in the community or be stripped of their benefits under controversial American-style plans to slash the number of people without jobs.
The proposals, in a white paper on welfare reform to be unveiled this week, are part of a radical government agenda aimed at cutting the £190bn-a-year welfare bill and breaking what the coalition now calls the "habit of worklessness".
The measures will be announced to parliament by the work and pensions secretary, Iain Duncan Smith, as part of what he will describe as a new "contract" with the 1.4 million people on jobseekers' allowance. The government's side of the bargain will be the promise of a new "universal credit", to replace all existing benefits, that will ensure it always pays to work rather than stay on welfare.'

Boy Hides From UK Social Workers in the Jungle
The boy’s mother is a Ugandan Catholic who has lived in Britain for more than 20 years, has degrees in IT and finance from two London universities, and has held down good jobs. Six years ago, however, she was temporarily homeless with a young daughter. She appealed for help to the social workers of the borough where she then lived. She was told she could put her little girl in foster care, but could be given no help herself. When she refused to hand over her child, a care order was made on the grounds of the mother’s “neglect”.
The mother was arrested at work, in front of her shocked colleagues, by six policemen, one armed with a pistol, and held in custody so her daughter could be seized. With court approval, the social workers then gave the girl to her father, despite the fact that he had a criminal record and was HIV positive.'

John Boehner Says In Order To Pay For The Wars, We Need To Raise The Social Security Retirement Age To 70
Ensuring there's enough money to pay for the war will require reforming the country's entitlement system, Boehner said. He said he'd favor increasing the Social Security retirement age to 70 for people who have at least 20 years until retirement, tying cost-of-living increases to the consumer price index rather than wage inflation and limiting payments to those who need them.

Interrogation Techniques at 'Britain's Abu Ghraib' Revealed
The court was informed that there is evidence detainees were starved, deprived of sleep, subjected to sensory deprivation and threatened with execution at the shadowy facilities near Basra operated by the Joint Forces Interrogation Team (JFIT).
It also received allegations that JFIT's prisoners were beaten and forced to kneel in stressful positions for up to 30 hours at a time, and that some were subjected to electric shocks. Some of the prisoners say they were subjected to sexual humiliation by female soldiers, while others allege that they were held for days in cells as small as one metre square.
The evidence of abuse is emerging just weeks after defence officials admitted that British soldiers and airmen are suspected of being responsible for the murder and manslaughter of a number of Iraqi civilians in addition to the high-profile case of Baha Mousa, the hotel receptionist tortured to death by troops in September 2003. One man is alleged to have been kicked to death aboard an RAF helicopter, while two others died after being held for questioning.'

Obama's Peace Dividend: War Profiteering in the Land of Gandhi
The Nobel Peace Laureate Barack Obama, who in his prize-claiming speech boldly claimed the mantle of Mahatma Gandhi, is now visiting India. And why has he made this pilgrimage to the homeland of his spiritual mentor? Has he come to drink more deeply of the wellsprings of satyagraha, to steep himself more thoroughly in the Gandhian principles of courageous, active, non-violent resistance to evil, to the Mahatma's ceaseless dedication to the poor and the outcast?
No: he has come to seal the deal on the sixth largest sale of war weapons in the history of the United States: $5 billion for the bristling, burgeoning Indian military, currently waging war on millions of its own people in Kashmir and the poverty-devastated state of central India, where the despair is so deep that suicide among the poor is epidemic.
Five billion dollars could have transformed the lives and futures of millions; instead it will go into the pockets of a few American war profiteers -- who will of course spread the wealth around to their favorite politicians ... such as Barack Obama, the leading recipient of war industry money in the 2008 campaign, outdoing even that old soldier and ardent militarist, John McCain.

U.S. Ratchets Up Contra War II Against Nicaragua
Borrowing its war plan against the Sandinista government of Nicaragua from Ronald Reagan, George H W Bush, and Oliver North, the Obama administration has given a green light to two neighbors of Nicaragua — Costa Rica and Honduras — to ratchet up tensions on their borders with Nicaragua.
On October 18, 2010, WMR reported: “Costa Rican police and DIS personnel are allegedly involved in the cross-border [drug] trafficking. Currently, a Colombian bank is being used to buy up land along the Costa Rican-Nicaraguan border ostensibly for “tourist” purposes but the $2 billion project is designed to establish staging areas for renewed Contra warfare in Nicaragua if the Sandinistas remain in power beyond the 2011 election. The US private military contractor Dyncorp is also involved in providing assistance to the Contras using the cover of ‘humanitarian assistance.’”
On October 28, Nicaragua accused Costa Rica of staging cross border raids by Costa Rican paramilitary police into Nicaraguan territory. Costa Rica has been warning Nicaragua against dredging the San Juan River inside Nicaraguan territory. Costa Rica, which fancies itself as an ecological ”green haven,” claims the dredging of the river is causing environmental damage. But as WMR previously reported, Costa Rica, which is backed by George Soros “civil society” agents of influence, as well as Israeli intelligence agents, is trying to paint Nicaragua as an aggressive destroyer of the environment.'

US Military Deliberately Sent Shia and Kurdish Commandoes Into Sunni Areas for Torture, Wikileaks Documents Show.
The revelation by Wikileaks of a US military order directing US forces not to investigate cases of torture of detainees by Iraqis has been treated in news reports as yet another case of lack of concern by the US military about detainee abuse.
But the deeper significance of the order, which has been missed by the news media, is that it was part of a larger US strategy of exploiting Shia sectarian hatred against Sunnis to help suppress the Sunni insurgency when Sunnis had rejected the US war.
And General David Petraeus was a key figure in developing the strategy of using Shia and Kurdish forces to suppress Sunnis in 2004-2005.
The strategy involved the deliberate deployment of Shia and Kurdish police commandoes in areas of Sunni insurgency in the full knowledge that they were torturing Sunni detainees, as the reports released by Wikileaks show.'

Who was Behind the Death of Dr. David Kelly? The Case is Far from Closed
Andrew Gilligan's article of 24 October has as its headline "David Kelly inquest: Case closed" followed by "The details of Dr David Kelly’s death, made public last week, should provide a final answer to the conspiracy theorists, says Andrew Gilligan"
The truth is that the case is far from closed, not least perhaps because no inquest has taken place. The continued refusal or neglect to hold an inquest into this important death, which is required by the laws of this country and of Europe, constitutes a blatant subversion of due process of the law.
In January of this year the well known London lawyers Leigh Day & Co., representing five doctors, formally requested that the Ministry of Justice allow the doctors and lawyers sight of all the medical and scientific documents/evidence relating to Dr David Kelly's death which had been secretly classified (at some time unknown in 2004/2005) for 70 years following the publication of the Hutton Report. Despite repeated questions, both before and after the General Election, the Ministry of Justice has been unable to tell us the exact date on which the documents were classified, nor indeed to enlighten us as to the legal basis for classifying the documents, nor for continuing to keep them secret. It is strongly suspected that no such legal basis exists.'

Israeli Government Documents Show Deliberate Policy to Keep Gazans at Near-Starvation Levels
In 2007, when Israel began its full siege on Gaza, Dov Weisglass, adviser to then Prime-Minister Ehud Olmert, stated clearly, "The idea is to put the Palestinians on a diet, but not to make them die of hunger." The documents now released contain equations used by the Israeli government to calculate the exact amounts of food, fuel and other necessities needed to do exactly that.
The documents are even more disturbing, say human rights activists, when one considers the fact that close to half of the people of Gaza are children under the age of eighteen. This means that Israel has deliberately forced the undernourishment of hundreds of thousands of children in direct violation of international law and the Fourth Geneva Convention.
This release of documents also severely undermines Israel's oft-made claim that the siege is "for security reasons", as it documents a deliberate and systematic policy of collective punishment of the entire population of Gaza.'
