Czech Doctors Quit en Masse Over Wages


Thousands of hospital doctors in the Czech Republic have handed in their resignation en masse as part of a protest against low salaries and poor working conditions.

The Czech Doctors' Union (LOK-SCL) launched the second phase of "Thanks, We Are Leaving" campaign aimed at putting more pressure on the government to increase their wages by one and a half times and to provide better working conditions within the health care system across the country, a Press TV correspondent reported on Tuesday.'
