Doctors Abandoning Vaccines That Don't Make Them Money
The results of two new surveys published in the medical journal Pediatrics reveal that many U.S. doctors are abandoning vaccines that don't make them money. Due to low reimbursements from insurance companies and government health care programs (Medicare, Medicaid), many doctors are simply refusing to offer such vaccines to children. About half of the doctors surveyed said they had delayed buying at least one vaccine due to the cost.These survey results bring several important issues to the surface.

George W. Bush says the biggest regret of his presidency was the intelligence failure concluding that Iraq has weapons of mass destruction.
When in March 2003 Bush ordered the US-led invasion of Iraq, it was largely justified on grounds that Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein was building weapons of mass destruction. That later proved to be false.
"A lot of people put their reputations on the line and said the weapons of mass destruction is a reason to remove Saddam Hussein," Bush said in an interview with ABC's World News on Monday.

The Foreign Office is holding an open day "to highlight the importance of human rights in our work as part of the 60th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights". There will be various "stalls" and "panel discussions", and foreign secretary David Miliband will present a human rights prize. Is this a spoof? No. The Foreign Office wants to raise our "human rights awareness". Kafka and Heller have many counterfeits.
There will be no stall for the Chagos islanders, the 2,000 British citizens expelled from their Indian Ocean homeland, whom Miliband's government has fought to prevent from returning to what is now a US military base and suspected CIA torture centre. The high court has repeatedly restored this fundamental human right to the islanders, the essence of Magna Carta, describing the Foreign Office actions as "outrageous", "repugnant" and "illegal". Yet Miliband's lawyers refused to give up, and were rescued on October 22 by the political judgments of three law lords.
There will be no stall for the victims of a systemic British policy of exporting arms and military equipment to 10 of Africa's most war-bloodied and impoverished countries. In his speech today, with the good people of Amnesty and Save the Children in attendance, shamefully, what will Miliband say to the sufferers of this UK-sponsored violence? Perhaps he will make mention, as he often does, of the need for "good governance" in faraway places, while his own regime suppresses a Serious Fraud Office investigation into BAE's £43m arms deal with the corrupt tyranny in Saudi Arabia - with which, noted Foreign Office minister Kim Howells in 2007, the British had "shared values".

There will be no stall for the people of Gaza, of whom, says the International Red Cross, starvation threatens the majority, mostly children. In pursuing a policy of reducing one and a half million people to a Hobbesian existence, the Israelis have cut most lifelines. David Miliband was in Jerusalem recently, within a short helicopter flight of the captive people of Gaza. He did not go, and said nothing about their human rights, preferring weasel words about a "truce" between tormentor and victims.
There will be no stall for the trade unionists, students, journalists and human rights defenders assassinated in Colombia, a country where the government's "security forces" are trained by the British and Americans and responsible for 90% of torture, says a new study by the British human rights group Justice for Colombia. The Foreign Office says it is "improving the human rights record of the military and combating drug trafficking". The study finds not a shred of evidence to support this. Colombian officers implicated in murder are welcomed to Britain for "seminars".

Human rights are almost entirely absent from this official memory, unlike fear of being found out. Couched in crisis management cliches, the IPPR report is a "call to action" because "weak, corrupt and failing states have become bigger security risks than strong, competitive ones". With western state terror unmentionable, the "call" is for Nato in Africa and military intervention "if deemed necessary".

The collapse of the financial system has reinvigorated Gordon Brown. Just a few months ago, he was rapidly becoming a lame duck, hardly able to stay awake. Suddenly, he has been pushed forward as the Global Chancellor of the Exchequer. Getting drunk on the financial sorrow of millions, he has been throwing up the solutions to the crisis.
But Brown’s solutions will take us to hell if we allow them to continue. At the very time that in the real economy we face the spectre of deflation, the policies Brown is pushing will soon unleash a greater spectre - hyperinflation on a global basis, in the style of the Weimar Republic.
Henry Carey first published the following pamphlet in 1851, after compiling the series of articles he had written for the “Plough, Loom and Anvil,” a newspaper published by his associate William Skinner and intended largely for circulation in the South and West United States.
The selection that follows is from the last article of the series and served as a rallying cry for the restoration of the American System.
It reminds us of the stark contrast between the American System as it was envisaged, and the stench of the Anglo-Dutch liberal financial system, as represented by the City of London and its lackeys around the world.

To establish such an empire–to prove that among the people of the world, whether agriculturists, manufacturers, or merchants, there is perfect harmony of interests, and that the happiness of individuals, as well as the grandeur of nations, is to be promoted by perfect obedience to that greatest of all commands, “Do unto others as ye would that others should do unto you” - is the object and will be the result of that mission.
Whether that result shall be speedily attained, or whether it shall be postponed to a distant period, will depend greatly upon the men who are charged with the performance of the duties of government. If their movements be governed by that enlightened self-interest which induces man to seek his happiness in the promotion of that of his fellow-man, it will come soon. Nowhere Man, Can You See Me At All
A few weeks ago I wrote about an experience I had in September when I witnessed a sighting of odd lights over the Atlantic Ocean and not one person with me cared. They would not even look. The experience haunted me as extremely odd. I wrote about it and tried to forget it.
October rolled around and I returned to walking on the boardwalks that line the coast close to where I live. I always bring my binoculars to look out over the ocean and the great open sky.
I finished my walk and was sitting on a bench overlooking the beach. I noticed the sky filling with chemtrails. I was very interested in this as they once dominated our skies here but recently seemed to stop. We were enjoying a period of normal blue skies with normal clouds for some time now. This day however I was very interested to find the chemtrails were back.

Things are getting crazier by the day. On Tuesday, Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson announced that the Fed would commit another $800 billion to fight the financial crisis which has spread to the broader economy and is causing sharp declines in consumer spending. The Fed plans to buy $600 billion of mortgage-backed securities (MBS) from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and another $200 billion of Triple A bonds from non-bank financial companies that provide financing for consumers. There's just one little glitch, Fannie and Freddie are already owned by the government, so buying the bad paper is like moving the figures from one ledger to another. It's pointless. Except for the fact, that by shuffling the paperwork, Bernanke can drive down long-term interest rates and (hopefully) rekindle flagging home sales. It's a parlour trick.
