First, what they will do is mark the easy ones, sex offenders and those found guilty of domestic violence. Then they'll do those who have a DUI charge. Then they'll do those who are charged with hate speech.Then they'll mark the cards of those who have been arrested for protesting. Then it will be those who have managed their employees in an "abusive" manner.

If you are a sex offender (and in many states this is broadly defined to include hookers), you will not be able to live in a neighborhood where there is any type of activities for children, regardless of how small the group and how well chaperoned. American Jews To 'Anti-Semite' Vet All Government Appointees

Every appointee to the American government must endure a thorough background check by the American Jewish community.

In the case of Obama's government in particular, every criticism against Israel made by a potential government appointee has become a catalyst for debate about whether appointing "another leftist" offers proof that Obama does not truly support Israel.

A few months ago, boisterous protests by the American Jewish community helped foil the appointment of Chaz Freeman to chair the National Intelligence Council, citing his "anti-Israel leaning."

The next attempt to appoint an intelligence aide, in this case, former Republican senator Chuck Hagel, also resulted in vast criticism over his not having a pro-Israel record.

American Zionists are urging Obama to cancel Hagel's appointment because of what they call a long and problematic record of hostility toward Israel.'

Three More Government Drug Advisers Resign

Three more government drug advisers resign over the home secretary's sacking of Professor David Nutt as chairman of the Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs (ACMD).

The three all resigned after a face-to-face meeting with Alan Johnson, the home secretary, which was called in an attempt to heal the rift between the scientists and the government over Nutt's sacking.'

Contrived US Ammunition Shortage

At one location I got talking with the clerk and he told me that his brother works for Remington and has run their ammo making machines for over 10 years, in the past few years they have run 12 hours a day 7 days a week.

TWO WEEKS after our last elections their management informed them that they were to cut back to 2 1/2 days a week and only run 8 hour a day. He said they had 50 semi-truck trailers waiting to be loaded but that they could not fill them.

British Government Calls Summit Over Rising Anti-Semitism

Anti-Semitism has become such a problem that the Foreign Office welcomed nearly 100 legislators from 35 countries to a conference this week aimed at tackling the issue.

The inaugural conference of the Inter-parliamentary Coalition for Combating Anti-Semitism (ICCA) is the first of its kind to receive such prominent Government support.

The two-day summit was held in the Houses of Parliament and at Lancaster House. The Foreign Secretary, David Miliband, said: “Anti-Semitism has been with us for millennia, but has mutated in form and expression through the ages. Today it has adapted to new technologies and has no defined borders.

'Soviet’ Britain Swells Amid The Recession

PARTS of the United Kingdom have become so heavily dependent on government spending that the private sector is generating less than a third of the regional economy, a new analysis has found.
The study of “Soviet Britain” has found the government’s share of output and expenditure has now surged to more than 60% in some areas of England and over 70% elsewhere.
Experts believe the recession will tighten the state’s grip still further as benefit handouts soar and Labour directs public sector organisations to create jobs to soak up unemployment.

Manchester Being 'Bullied' By Government Into Accepting Road Tolls

The Government is threatening to withhold £1.5 billion of public funding for public transport in Manchester unless the city agrees to become a guinea pig for pay-as-you-drive road pricing.

Geoff Hoon, the Transport Secretary, said funding for new tram lines, extra buses and trains would be cancelled unless a majority of Greater Manchester's 1.8 million population voted “yes” in next month's road pricing referendum.

Sarkozy Calls For Halt To Foreign Ownership

Nicolas Sarkozy risked blowing apart the European consensus over how to deal with the financial crisis by proposing today that each country launch sovereign wealth funds to take stakes in key industries to stop them falling into foreign hands.

The French President argued that falling share prices meant that big industries were in imminent danger of being taken over and called for the EU to follow the US Congress pledge to take $25 billion stakes in the country's three main car-making companies.
With France holding the rotating presidency of the EU, Mr Sarkozy is in a strong position to push through his plans for sovereign wealth funds as world leaders prepare to re-write gloabl financial rules at a series of Bretton Woods-style meetings starting next month.

State’s Intervention Swells Public Sector To Over Six Million

Gordon Brown’s decision to nationalise some of Britain’s biggest high street banks will push the number of public sector employees to more than six million for the first time.
In some parts of the country almost one in three workers will be employed by the State, as bankers and financiers join nurses, doctors and council workers on the government payroll.
Overnight 233,000 staff from the Royal Bank of Scotland, 70,000 from Lloyds TSB, 65,000 from HBOS and 3,035 from Bradford & Bingley will effectively have a new boss. They will join the 6,500 who have already come over from Northern Rock and push total numbers of public sector staff to 6.12 million.
The widening public sector is now sprouting tentacles in a number of new areas, as construction companies, advertising agencies and management consultants turn to the State for gainful employment.
