Conversation Commissars Now In Canadian Education
Your friend's new fuchsia fedora might be hideous. But don't call it gay, or you might get a language lesson from the conversation cops.
Students at Queen's University who sprinkle their dialogue with an assortment of "homo" or "retarded" could find out the hard way that not everyone finds their remarks acceptable.
The Kingston university has hired student facilitators to step in when they overhear homophobic slurs, remarks bashing women or racially tinged insults, along with an array of other language that could be deemed offensive.

Barking Mad: Dog Owners Whose Pets Are Too Thin Or Too Fat Face Jail Under New Rules
Owners of fat cats and obese dogs could be fined or jailed under controversial Government rules.
New beefed-up codes of practice for pet owners published today state that overfeeding pets is a 'serious welfare concern' that can lead to unnecessary suffering.
People who refuse to put seriously fat pets on a diet could be prosecuted under the Animal Welfare Act - and face a fine of up to £20,000 or even 12 months' jail.

State’s Intervention Swells Public Sector To Over Six Million
Gordon Brown’s decision to nationalise some of Britain’s biggest high street banks will push the number of public sector employees to more than six million for the first time.
In some parts of the country almost one in three workers will be employed by the State, as bankers and financiers join nurses, doctors and council workers on the government payroll.
Overnight 233,000 staff from the Royal Bank of Scotland, 70,000 from Lloyds TSB, 65,000 from HBOS and 3,035 from Bradford & Bingley will effectively have a new boss. They will join the 6,500 who have already come over from Northern Rock and push total numbers of public sector staff to 6.12 million.
The widening public sector is now sprouting tentacles in a number of new areas, as construction companies, advertising agencies and management consultants turn to the State for gainful employment.

The Financial Collapse - What Will Happen Next
'Many are surprised at the speed of events occurring with the current global economic collapse. Yet few appear to be aware of what is still to follow as events unfold in the days that lie ahead. The present crisis is not just an economic crisis it is a political crisis also. What is unfolding now is a going to result in the end of the Anglo-Saxon dominance of the global economy, along with the collapse of their economies and military capacity. We are experiencing some of the most dramatic and historic events in the history of mankind. The political landscape of the world we live is being significantly changed. '

'The current crisis will have enormous global politically recupssions. It will see the end of the ascendency of the western democracies. People will be willing to accept authoritarian forms of government out of economic necessity. Europe will experience the biggest political change. The current crisis has shown the inability of divided leadership in Europe to react to a crisis on the magnitude that has happened over the last couple of weeks. This crisis will bring together the EU nations under a single leader and political system. '
'It will result in the Anglo-Saxon nations sink into abject poverty; their people face starvation, disease, famine, and abject poverty. Their people will suffer greatly, as their societies sink into anarchy, as law and order breaks down, and society collapses. Their nations will be taken over by their creditors as they try and recover their debts, and their people put into slavery. It will be a time of great suffering and tribulation to its people. '

Homeland Security's Space Based Spying Goes Live on the Public
While America's attention has shifted to the economic meltdown and the presidential race between corporate favorites John McCain and Barack Obama, The Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday that the Department of Homeland Security's (DHS) National Applications Office (NAO) "will proceed with the first phase of a controversial satellite-surveillance program, even though an independent review found the department hasn't yet ensured the program will comply with privacy laws."
As I wrote in June, NAO will coordinate how domestic law enforcement and "disaster relief" agencies such as FEMA use satellite imagery intelligence (IMINT) generated by U.S. spy satellites. Based on available evidence, hard to come by since these programs are classified "above top secret," the technological power of these military assets are truly terrifying.Unlike commercial satellites that beam TV programs, forecast the weather or provide global positioning services, their military cousins are far more flexible, have greater resolution and therefore, more power to monitor human activity. By utilizing different parts of the light- and infrared spectrum, spy satellites, in addition to taking ultra high-resolution photographs to within a meter of their "target," can also track the heat signatures generated by people inside a building. In other words, when combined with illegal NSA and FBI domestic surveillance programs--from data-mining to the massive interception of telephone and internet communications--NAO will furnish DHS and outsourced corporate grifters who actually run the program, with the blanket coverage of American citizens long sought by securocrats. Aside from The Wall Street Journal and The Raw Story, not a single media outlet has disclosed this vital information to the public.Despite the absence of rigorous oversight that would determine whether or not NAO complies with what's left of privacy laws, DHS is proceeding full speed ahead. The Journal reports.
Yes it IS really happening. Get Used To It Or Do Something About It !
Also remember that these military satellites aren't just gonna be hovering over the US. It doesnt't matter where you are and don't think that the various Intelligent Agencies aren't going to be sharing information.!
