Apart from lying about where she lives for the purposes of fiddling her expenses, it was revealed yesterday that Jackboot Jacqui has been telling the tax authorities a different story altogether.
She maintains that her family house in Redditch is her second home, so she can claim tens of thousands of pounds in parliamentary allowances to which she is not entitled.
But she also registers the Redditch property as her principal residence with her local council, which means she won't have to pay capital gains tax when she comes to sell it.
Meanwhile, she pretends to the Commons fees office that her sister's spare bedroom in South London is her 'main' residence.
And that allows her famously to charge 'second home' expenses for Redditch - up to and including the kitchen sink, a patio heater and her husband's pornographic movies.
This isn't just an abuse of the system, it's wholesale theft and criminal deception. In any other line of work she'd be helping the Fraud Squad with their inquiries.
Hardly surprising, then, that No10 was putting it about this week that she's going to be sacked as Home Secretary in a few weeks' time, as Gordon seeks scapegoats for his selfinflicted meltdown.
To add to her woes, she is certain to be ejected from her ultra-marginal seat at the next General Election.

All in all, the future's pretty bleak for old Jackboots. With her record of dishonesty, what sensible employer would want to take her on? Perhaps she is hoping for a lucrative directorship from one of the
firms bidding to run the £20 billion national ID cards scheme.
Why else would she be forging ahead with this ludicrously expensive project, in the teeth of all logic? You'd think
she'd have more pressing problems to deal with. But, as if that wasn't enough, she's also forcing through another monstrous affront to civil liberties by grinding
on with the establishment of a sinister DNA database, which will store intimate profiles of hundreds of thousands of people who have never been convicted of any offence.
This not only runs counter to our centuries-old presumption of innocence, but also flies in the face of Labour's beloved European Court of Yuman Rites, which has ruled the plan illegal.
And Jackboots still found time this week to issue a list of 'undesirables' who will be excluded from Britain.
They include a couple of violent skinheads, currently serving a ten-year prison sentence in Russia, and an obscure American shock jock, who says that not only has he no intention of visiting Britain, he now intends to sue Jackboots for defamation.
WHAT on earth was she doing trawling the jails of Eastern Europe and the airwaves of America for people to exclude from Britain? Why single out this motley crew - and why now?
All this manic activity from a woman who should be lucky to get a job selling the Big Issue in Redditch High Street this time next year.
Maybe she entertains the vain hope that if she does as much damage as possible now, she'll be rewarded with a seat in the Lords later, which would allow her to carry on with her lavish, larcenous lifestyle.
If there was any justice, she'd be banged up in Holloway and spend the rest of her life on her own ghastly DNA database. Pity we can't exclude her from Britain.
