British Families Suffer Extra Tax Burden

Middle-class traditional British families have been paying more than a third extra tax than other parts of Europe, according to recent findings.

A middle-class British family, with one parent staying home to take care of children, bears a 39 percent more tax burden than other European countries within the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).

A Christian social policy charity said the situation would get worse by 2013 when child benefit will be cut for the families earning more than £42,000 annually.'
