Obama Must Deport His Aunt

The national organization, Americans for Legal Immigration PAC, is filing an arrest request with Immigration and Customs Enforcement today and issuing a public demand for President Obama to honor his rhetoric about the Rule of Law by deporting his aunt Zeituni Onyango.

Zeituni Onyango is an illegal immigrant, who is currently under a court's order to leave the country or be deported, and has been living in taxpayer subsidized housing in Boston for five years. She is currently a fugitive from justice and is staying with friends in Cleveland vowing to fight against being deported now that her nephew is President.

Nobel Prizewinning Economist: Let The Banks Fail

Professor Stiglitz, the former chair of the White House Council of Economic Advisers, told The Daily Telegraph that Britain should let the banks default on their vast foreign operations and start afresh with new set of healthy banks.

"The UK has been hit hard because the banks took on enormously large liabilities in foreign currencies. Should the British taxpayers have to lower their standard of living for 20 years to pay off mistakes that benefited a small elite?" he said.

Passport RFIDs Cloned Wholesale By $250 eBay Auction Spree

Using inexpensive off-the-shelf components, an information security expert has built a mobile platform that can clone large numbers of the unique electronic identifiers used in US passport cards and next generation drivers licenses.

The $250 proof-of-concept device - which researcher Chris Paget built in his spare time - operates out of his vehicle and contains everything needed to sniff and then clone RFID, or radio frequency identification, tags. During a recent 20-minute drive in downtown San Francisco, it successfully copied the RFID tags of two passport cards without the knowledge of their owners.

The Era of American Leadership Is Over

Vast numbers of people in the United States and abroad are hoping that President Obama will end America’s illegal wars, halt America’s support for Israel’s massacre of Lebanese and Palestinians, and punish, instead of reward, the shyster banksters whose fraudulent financial instruments have destroyed economies and imposed massive sufferings on people all over the world. If Obama’s appointments are an indication, all of these hopeful people are going to be disappointed.

James Petras examines Obama’s foreign policy appointments and finds the largest collection of Zionist militarists outside of Avigdor Lieberman’s far right political party in Israel.

Petras concludes that Obama’s “diplomatic” team has Iran in its sights, an hostility that meshes with Israel’s own intent. Not realizing that a member of the press had been mistakenly invited to a selected audience, the Israeli ambassador to Australia said that Israel’s attack on Gaza was a dress rehearsal for a major attack on Iran. Netanyahu, the expected winner of Israel’s March elections, has again declared that Israel will not permit Iran to have a nuclear energy program as it would provide the basis for developing nuclear weapons.

It makes no sense for Israel to baldly state its intention to attack Iran if Israel does not mean it. What if the Iranians believe the Israelis and decide to strike first with their long-range missiles?

Obama’s economic appointments are just as discouraging. Obama chose as his Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner, the man who helped Bush’s Treasury Secretary, Hank Paulson, engineer the $700 billion dollar rip off of the US taxpayer, money that was gifted to the crooked banksters who destroyed Americans’ pensions, jobs and health care coverage.

These banksters, and the negligent federal regulators that enabled them, should be put in prison, not handed hundreds of billions of dollars.

Edge Media TV: Brian Gerrish Exposes 'Common Purpose'

Corrupt Peers Can Carry On Lobbying Despite Scandal

Peers who influence or amend laws to benefit companies that pay them will not face any new restrictions after the cash for amendments row.

Jack Straw, the Justice Secretary, promised new laws yesterday, allowing members of the Lords to be expelled if they bring the Upper House into disrepute.

Peers who are “non-domiciled” for tax purposes, potentially including billionaire Labour and Tory donors, could also lose their seats if plans supported by the Justice Secretary become law. Mr Straw said that, in general, lobbyists were too influential in British political life — the first hint since a report by the Commons Public Administration Committee on lobbying that curbs may be coming.

But there are no plans by the Government or the House of Lords to restrict peers who lobby on behalf of companies that pay them, despite criticism that this presents a worrying conflict of interest.

Wealth Of The USA Plundered By Jews by Texe Marrs

It's all over the media, how one Wall Street crook, Bernie Madoff, masterminded the greatest Ponzi scheme in history. Bernie ripped off investors to the tune of $50 billion, and they're still counting.

Fifty billion! That's more than the current market value of General Motors, Disney, Boeing, and Anheuser-Busch combined. And just one solitary individual—a corrupt, money-grabbing Jew named "Madoff"—is the culprit.

But, wait...hold on. Is this one crime the whole picture, the full extent of Wall Street's monumental scam and robbery extravaganza? Not by a long shot!

Yes Virginia, There is a Santa Claus
Citibank's Jewish money-shovelers stole some $200 billion—and then got the idiots at the U.S. Treasury to dole out some $160 billion of our—the suffering taxpayers—hard-earned money into their coffers. Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus and his name is "Uncle Sam."

Illuminati Think Tank Chatham House: Food Crisis? GM Crops Are The Answer

Britain faces a major food crisis unless urgent steps are taken to revive its flagging agricultural sector, warns one of the world's most influential thinktanks.

Following a week in which world leaders and the United Nations expressed deep concern about the prospect of global food shortages, Chatham House suggests there needs to be a major shake-up in the UK's supply chain if the country is to continue feeding itself.

Controversially, the report's authors claim the debate about the use of GM crops in the UK will have to be reopened if productivity is to be increased, a suggestion likely to spark anger from the green lobby.

Israel Is Nobody's Friend

If civilization can survive the cynical path it's on, future historians will identify three great cons that were played out upon the world during this time; the fractional-reserve central-banking system, the war on terrorism and Israel. Abe Foxman is The Defamation League

To delve deeply almost anywhere into the arguments over the Israeli/Palestinian conflict is to invite an overload of irony, but let us focus for one moment on a fracas caused by Abe Foxman, national director of the B'nai B'rith Anti-Defamation League.

Irony No. 1 is that a "league," as such, does not exist. Foxman is it. (When asked, for a New York Times profile, whom in the organization besides himself a reporter might interview, Foxman "couldn't think of anyone.")

Irony No. 2? Under Foxman, "antidefamation" is not really the ADL's line; defamation is.

The Age of Delusion & Denial has entered the War on all fronts, and it must be dealt with if we are to find our way out of this labyrinth of hell-bent collapse.

We built our civilizations on unspoken thoughts of promise and on the hope for a better tomorrow. To that end we tried to learn from the past to avoid major mistakes. But once we began to worship only Money upon the Alters of Greed, we also began to cease creative thought or the building of our own worlds: Instead we seemed to uniformly embrace Destruction, War, and superficial Power, in an almost Holy write of passage, into secret worlds of darkness and intrigue.

This complete reversal disregarded anything of value, of substance, or humanity-in this nightmare race to turn the whole world upside down.

US Banks Sought Foreign Worlers Even As they Laid Off Thousands

Major U.S. banks sought government permission to bring thousands of foreign workers into the country for high-paying jobs even as the system was melting down last year and Americans were getting laid off, according to an Associated Press review of visa applications.

The dozen banks now receiving the biggest rescue packages, totaling more than $150 billion, requested visas for more than 21,800 foreign workers over the past six years for positions that included senior vice presidents, corporate lawyers, junior investment analysts and human resources specialists. The average annual salary for those jobs was $90,721, nearly twice the median income for all American households.

Protectionism - Globalisations Dark Side

AS POLITICIANS know only too well, even the best chosen words can turn out to be hostages to fortune. Six months ago, President Nicolas Sarkozy boasted that when there is a strike in France these days no-one notices because it is simply not such a big deal.

Two years ago, Gordon Brown stated that British jobs should be for British workers. Surveying the industrial unrest which has swept through both countries both leaders must now be wishing that they had kept a firmer bridle on their tongues. Instead of playing to the gallery - as they intended when they basked in their self-confident rhetoric - their comments have come back to bite them.

Gaza Desperately Short of Food After Israel Destroys Farmland

Gaza's 1.5 million people are facing a food crisis as a result of the destruction of great areas of farmland during the Israeli invasion.
According to the World Food Programme, the UN's Food and Agriculture Organisation and Palestinian officials, between 35% and 60% of the agriculture industry has been wrecked by the three-week Israeli attack, which followed two years of economic siege.
Christine van Nieuwenhuyse, the World Food Programme's country director, said: "We are hearing that 60% of the land in the north - where the farming was most intensive - may not be exploitable again. It looks to me like a disaster. It is not just farmland, but poultry as well.

Obama's $2 Trillion Bank Bailout

President Obama is preparing to unveil a rescue plan for Wall Street next week which will dig the world’s biggest banking industry out of a $2 trillion hole.

His plan, which has yet to be finalised and signed off, is expected to include the creation of a “bad bank” that will buy some of lenders’ distressed debt and underwrite the remaining billions of dollars worth of troubled assets. It is also believed to include caps on executive pay for banks benefiting from federal help.
It is believed that President Obama has estimated that total losses among America’s lenders could cost the US up to $2 trillion.

Ceasefires, Israeli-Style

Waging war while talking peace is customary Israeli practice. On January 19, Haaretz headlined: "Israel declares unilateral cease-fire. The security cabinet last night authorized a unilateral cease-fire (to take effect) at 2AM (Sunday morning), ending three weeks of intense fighting."

Declaration notwithstanding, nothing changed. Gaza remains occupied, under siege, and totally isolated. Borders are still closed.

On January 28, The New York Times said "truckloads of humanitarian aid" are stuck in Egypt because of Israeli and Cairo restrictions. Little can get in, and attacks merely downshifted to a lower gear.

Shortly after Sunday's announcement, an Israeli aircraft killed a Gaza City resident. IDF troops opened fire in Wadi al-Salqa village, southeast of Deir al-Balah. Homes in al-Qarara village were attacked. Helicopter gunships struck areas west of Khan Yunis, and F-16s bombed near the Science and Technology College in the same area. Israeli naval vessels shelled coastal areas and turned back ships with humanitarian aid. Agricultural land was raised. Arrests were made.

Gaza continues to be terrorized.

Israeli War Criminals Vow Another Mutilation Of Gaza

Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said in a weekly cabinet meeting on Sunday that the military will harshly respond to rocket attacks which struck the western Negev earlier in the day.

"We will act according to new rules that will guarantee that we are not dragged into an incessant tit-for-tat war that will not allow normal life in the south of the country," said Olmert.

The premier was referring to two rockets that were launched from the Hamas-held territory early in the morning. One of the rockets landed in the Sdot Negev Regional Council while the other hit the Eshkol Regional Council. Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, the military wing of Fatah - Hamas' rival faction - claimed responsibility for the rocket attacks, The Jerusalem Post reported.

"We've said that if there is rocket fire against the south of the country, there will be a severe and disproportionate Israeli response," said the premier. "The response will come at the time, the place and the manner that we choose."

Tosser Mandelson Tells Strikers " Go Work In Europe If You're Unhappy

Lord Mandelson enraged unions and Labour MPs last night by accusing wildcat strikers of "protectionism" and claiming they could turn the recession into a full-blown depression.

The Business Secretary inflamed the dispute over foreign workers by suggesting that protesters could go and work elsewhere in Europe if they were unhappy.

As the mediator Acas was called in to try to prevent more unofficial strikes planned for tomorrow, the peer issued a statement that failed to damp down growing industrial unrest.

His support for free movement of workers in the European Union was also at odds with Gordon Brown's 2007 promise to safeguard "British jobs for British workers", a phrase which has been turned against the Prime Minister by protesters.

The Hustle!

The IMF is out of cash.

That is, according to the governor of Mexico’s Central Bank, Guillermo Ortiz, at this years otherwise absolutely insane Davos economic forum, who said, “The IMF does not have enough money for what is coming.”

Turns out, he was right. The Wall Street Urinal reported this morning:

“The International Monetary Fund is finalizing a $100 billion loan from Japan and is considering issuing bonds for the first time in its history, as part of an effort to double the financial resources it has to fight the deepening global recession.”

The IMF has a lending capacity of about $250 billion, and wants to double that. In the past the UK and the USA have vetoed the IMF issuing bonds to raise money. I doubt such a veto will come from the UK this time, since we are so bankrupt we may just need IMF cash in the not too distant future.

The $250 billion figure seems strangely low to me, considering it is usually the IMF that countries run to when they can’t pay their debts.

But it raises an interesting question - if the IMF extends loans to nation states using money it has borrowed from banks, and nation states are using those loans to bail out banks, where is the interest on the loans going?

This could just be the biggest scam in history - banks use the fractional reserve system to issue loans, creating money out of thin air. This previously non-existent money is lent to nation states to fund their bailout packages, where the cash is forwarded back to the banks again to support their balance sheets. In return the banks give the countries involved some worthless “assets.” The tax payer is now liable to the banks for the interest on loans which the banks effectively lent themselves.

Amazing.

Those involved, from Gordon Brown, through every politician who keeps his mouth shut, to every journalist who doesn’t write about it, should be ending their days in prison.

Public Inquiry! Now.

Fighting an "Invisible Force"

Individuals take the initiative. That's what the enemy is most afraid of.
People only do what they "own" i.e. conceive themselves (unless of course they are paid or propagandized by paid agents.)
In any conflict, it is necessary to understand who the enemy is. As Pogo said,"the enemy is us." The enemy has so permeated the social fabric that society is complicit in its own destruction. Let me explain

Biobank (UK) - Have you Got Your Letter Yet?

There was a bar code at the top of the letter with the words "participant ID" next to it, and my appointment has been set for 5th March 2009 1.20pm.

If I do not wish to participate, then I am to notify them in writing, and give reasons.

I am timetabled to take part in a 90min examination in which genetic material including blood, urine, are taken and various 'medical tests' performed etc. Lifestyle questions will also be asked. Their stated aim is to research into the prevention of cancer, heart disease, strokes etc.

Apparently it involves over 500,00 people aged between 40-69. (I'm nearer the 40 than the 69 by the way). There are huge implications to people holding DNA / gene info, and I am not confident that ethical issues would be understood, let alone taken care of.

Stay Put - Produce the Note

Wall Street and its co-conspirators on Main Street had a great plan.

Step 1: Ram predatory loans down the market with fraud and deceptive marketing.

Step 2: Some of the loans will blow up, but in the aggregate it will all work out and besides, the loans will be bundled and sold off to investors (spreading the toxic waste), so who cares? Great plan, but it had a few problems.

Problem #1: It destroyed the world financial system (minor detail)

Problem #2 (And he's where it get VERY interesting...) For a loan to be valid, the lender needs to be able to produce the paperwork. Guess what? In their mad greed to screw the American people and line their own pockets, Wall Street forgot that little detail.

Many of these loans and been sliced and diced and sold and re-sold so many times that not only is the paperwork not easy to lay hands on, in some cases, it's not clear who actually owns the loan.

Here's where property law comes in. If the bank can't produce the documents and the real owner of the loan can't be identified, the contract is null and void.

You've got to hand it to Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur (and Ohio which produces a lot of great Congresspeople.)

By telling a bank to "produce the note," a homeowner can delay foreclosure by forcing the lender to prove the suing institution is actually the same which owns the debt.

Now, the banks own sloth and disorganization (and inherent dishonesty) can be used against it.

Final word: The media (and Wall Street and its criminal partners in Congress and the former Bush White House) love to call these loans sup-prime. Here's the old fashioned word: predatory.

Many of the loans that were made in the past five years that have created so many problems would have been illegal until Bush & Co not only gutted lending laws, but also literally sued states to stop them from enforcing their own lending laws.

Former governor Elliott Spitzer was the ring leader of the state movement to enforce local lending laws...and you saw what happened to him.

He's no saint (and truth be told, he's kind of a jerk) but if every politician who went to hookers was busted, Washington and all the state capitals would be ghost towns

National March Against Foreign Workers

THE business secretary, Lord Mandelson, issued a stark warning against moves to protect British jobs from foreign workers yesterday as unions planned a national protest march.
With the spectre of disruption to fuel and power supplies, Mandelson insisted that companies must continue to be allowed to employ staff from overseas. In a blunt message to workers demanding “British jobs for British workers”, he said: “Protectionism would be a sure-fire way of turning recession into depression.”

His tough stance was echoed by Gordon Brown, who condemned plans for further wild-cat strikes tomorrow. “That’s not the right thing to do and it’s not defensible,” he said.
While ministers held emergency meetings with union leaders to try to stem the flow of unofficial protests, militant shop stewards were planning their next moves.

Among the plans which will alarm Downing Street are a national march against foreign workers in London, a national boycott of filling stations owned by Total, the French oil company, and a blockade at a Kent power station
