French Jets Pound Civilian Targets in Tripoli

Foreign fighter jets have reportedly bombed civilian targets in Libya after several world leaders agreed to use military force in the North African country.

Libyan state television has released video footage of "an aerial attack" launched by Western planes against civilian structures in the Libyan capital Tripoli, Reuters reported on Saturday.

The airstrikes were launched after officials of a number countries meeting in Paris on Saturday ordered a large-scale military intervention into Libya in order to end the assaults on civilians launched by Libyan ruler Muammar Gaddafi's forces.'
