MPs to Debate UK Action in Libya
British MPs are to discuss UK's military intervention in Libya and to pressure Prime Minister David Cameron to avoid a ground invasion of the country.
The United Nations resolution backs a no-fly zone proposal, but it also contains a part revealing there should not be a foreign occupation in Libya.
UK Foreign Secretary William Hague claimed that there would not be a “ground invasion” but he did not reject non-occupying ground troops.
"There can't be an occupation force. But I don't think that means you can't have a ground invasion of Libya,” he said.'
