An elderly widow has been threatened with a £2,500 fine by council officials – for dropping cigarette ash on the pavement.
Sheila Martin, 70, was smoking at a bus stop when a warden pounced and handed her the £75 fixed penalty for littering.
The cash-strapped grandmother refused to pay and has now been warned it could rise to £2,500.
You never hear about these warden nazis issuing fines to addicts who comsume McDonalds, KFC, Pizza Hut,Coca Cola Amatil and such that litter streets or bus stops after a feast waiting for their limousine. Its quite visible more so to me than ash from a cigarette unless these wardens crawl on their hands and kneees with a microscope, l sometimes pick this garbage up and place it in a bin which is usually near a bus stop that junk food addicts find too hard to do. Are these wardens scared of pigs with an eating addiction thats socially acceptable and cool? l'd be a frigging nazi if l spotted that kind as a warden taking photos and fingerprinting on the spot sending the bill to the providers of the addiction..Ha.
Sorry Andrew, sometimes my 'humour' is tongue in cheek or 'black humour' l understand it could be taken literally with my litterbug comment. They are annoying though, litterbuggers. Ha.
