  1. Why do people like to fall for snake oil?

If the component originates from red wine, does it then not make more sense to consume red wine in order to benefit from its anti-cancer and anti-aging properties instead of buying something that is still at trial stage?

The problem with some people is that they will fall for just about anything and of course these executives are driven by greed as usual. Nothing new here.
