"UK forces used about 1.9 metric tons of depleted uranium ammunition in the Iraq war in 2003," UK Defense Secretary Liam Fox said in a written reply to the House of Commons on Thursday, the Kuwait News Agency reported.
The announcement came after a joint study by the environment, health and science ministries in Iraq said there were communities near the cities of Najaf, Basra and Fallujah with increased rates of cancer and birth defects over the past five years.'

I am watching a series called A POISONED EARTH and a few hours ago was the chapter on DU, a subject I have forced myself to look at and study.
ReplyDeleteIt is not easy for the squeamish to look at the images of the children born without brains, heads, eyes, disformed in ways that one can hardly imagine. But I believe these images should be shoved in front of EVERY American and Brit, and have them study image after image until they vomit in disgust at what they have not risen up against.
4.5 BILLION years of this is now part of the Iraqi genetic structure and they will NEVER return to "normal". The thing is, the armies continue creating even more horrific weapons.
The children of VietNam are in a horrible state and things will CONTINUE to deteriorate over the generations.
The spreading of DU was done not only for war, but the medical expenses will break the governments of the victims. It will forever ruin the race of people targeted. And THAT, my friends is what a CRUSADE in this day and age, against the Muslims, or the Buddhists, is all about.
Meanwhile, a very high percentage of Americans have returned with problems also. I have read of wives who have had to pack ice in their vaginas after making love with their husband because his emissions burn so badly. In fact, it burns right through condoms. Meanwhile, the army lies.
I remember seeing a film made for the soldiers warning them of the hazards of DU but it was not shown to a single soldier. To have shown them would have meant admitting guilt, and therefore open to lawsuits.
May the creators of these things rot in a hell of their own making, forever burning with the pain,with images of their victims, the sounds of their victims, their only awareness.
