British ambassador to the US Sir Nigel Sheinwald has rejected reports that he helped the son of Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi with his PhD thesis.This comes as the Foreign Office has confirmed Sheinwald used to meet Saif Gaddafi when he was studying at the london school of Economics (LSE) though insisted the meetings were not connected to Saif Gaddafi's studies.
Yet contrary to the Foreign Office claims, LSE sources revealed Sheinwald had a “profound interest” in Saif Gaddafi's studies and offered “active assistance” in his work.
