Britain Seeking a Deal with Kusa

Despite claims by the British government, that Libyan defector Musa Kusa will not be immune from court trials reports say he will be even rewarded for escaping to Britain.

After what the British media called a “cloak and dagger operation run by MI6” to help Kusa flee to Britain, Prime Minister David Cameron insisted that London has promised no immunity from prosecution either from British justice or the International Criminal Court to the former Libyan Foreign Minister.

“Let me be clear, Musa Kusa is not being granted immunity, there is no deal of that kind,” Cameron claimed. But his remarks appeared as a double game following the reports that London is planning to prize Kusa rather than punish him for the alleged crimes he has committed.
