Black Wednesday for Millions of British Families

Shadow chancellor Ed Balls said the £110 billion of austerity measures would hit women with children hardest of all.

Mr Balls identified cuts to childcare support worth "up to £1,560 a year for families with two children" alongside other costs from freezing child benefit and cutting tax credits.

He warned: "Today will be a Black Wednesday for millions of families across Britain. All this pain, all in one go, aimed at families with children, is not just deeply unfair, it will hamper our economy too.'

  1. Isn't that the same guy they questioned about how the cuts would affect abused children and he had nothing to say?

    Selective commentary.

    Labour is just as bad as the coalition, so I don't know what they are harping on about.

    You can't trust anyone these days....lies, all I hear is lies.

    Maybe there would be more money to go around if the UK wasn't involved with blowing shit up halway across the world, mismangement on a grand scale, letting all the criminals of the world into the country and handing out British passports like sweets to every crook in the world.

    Just saying....I could write more but I'm tired.
