Barclays Urged to Leave UK

A significant number of British bank Barclays' shareholders have asked the bank's board to leave the country and live outside the UK.The UK-based bank has been called to move to New York, US, or elsewhere to have brighter perspective.

The shareholders, who hold over 10 percent of Barclays' equity, said the bank would face better taxing conditions outside the UK.

One of the investors said the situation of banks in the UK had become "increasingly toxic."

    All that bank ever does is charge, charge, charge.

    Personally, I am sick of it, and I don't give a damn what they do, quite frankly!
