Israel Arrests Protesters in Tel Aviv
Israeli forces have arrested 19 activists protesting the death of a 36-year-old Palestinian woman, who died from tear gas inhalation at a rally in the occupied West Bank.
The demonstrators gathered outside the home of the US ambassador to Israel, James Cunningham, in northern Tel Aviv on Sunday.
Police arrested eleven activists, accusing them of throwing an empty tear gas canister and a chain toward the ambassador's residence, Israeli daily Haaretz reported.
The demonstration was held against the death of Jawaher Abu Rahma, who died after inhaling tear gas fired by Israeli troops at demonstrators, who were protesting the construction of the West Bank barrier near Ramallah city on Friday.'
