Yemeni Troops Shoot Protesters, Kill Two

Yemeni security forces have opened fire on anti-government protesters in the capital, killing at least two demonstrators, witnesses say.

The shooting came after tens of thousands of protesters that gathered near Sana'a University marched toward the Cabinet building in a bid to bring further pressure on President Ali Abdullah Saleh to resign.

Over 40 others were also injured in the attack.

The march, however, was interrupted as protesters rushed to help and evacuate the wounded from the scene and take them to hospitals.

Earlier in the day, Yemeni security forces opened fire on anti-Saleh protesters in the southern city of Taizz, killing at least two demonstrators and injuring many others.'
