US, Saudis Make Deal to Incite Carnage

Based on the deal, cited by British newspaper The Telegraph on Thursday, Riyadh would support the Washington-led war on fellow Arab country of Libya, in exchange for the American silence on the brutal crackdown on anti-government protesters in the Persian Gulf state of Bahrain.

“Saudi officials say they gave their backing to Western air strikes on Libya in exchange for the United States muting its criticism of the authorities in Bahrain, a close ally of the desert kingdom,” says The Telegraph article, covering the events in Bahrain.

Saudi Arabia has deployed 1,000 military troops to Bahrain to assist in the brutal suppression of the popular uprising there.'
