3/08/2001........sitting upstairs in the restuarants function room l was listening to a CD playing while l waited for the waitress downstairs to finish her duties before she could leave for the night, my shift of cleaning the restuarant would begin thereafter.
ReplyDeleteWhile staring at the wall in front of me its suddenly crumbled into grey dust clouds in a split second....
Returning downstairs l mentioned what l had just witnessed upstairs to the waitress.
Thats strange l just heard a loud cracking sound from the wall behind me while totaling the takings for the day, she said.
Nine days later after finishing work for the night l sat down to watch a bit of TV at home.
Flicking the channels a breaking news story was just developing, it was 9/11.
l sat shocked as we all did watching this unfold....it was when the first tower collapsed
it dawned on me....thats what l saw before me at the restuarant nine days previously, the grey dust clouds in the vision on the restuarants wall.
