Quran Burning Bid Draws Global Outrage


A US church's plan to burn copies of Islam's holy book on the anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attacks has ignited worldwide condemnation.

Top US commander in Afghanistan General David Petraeus warned on Monday that the action could put the lives of American soldiers involved in wars overseas at risk.

US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has also hit out at the Dove World Outreach Center's plan, stressing that it is "disrespectful and disgraceful".'

    How come when they burn the American Flag or the Bible no one raises any hell or even hears about it? Why all the attention for a book written by a man,you may say profit, but i mean a normal man, and nowadays a book published by the millions, by printing presses. Who should give this whole affair a second thought? How about the poor Muslim (maybe you)that held the Quran, but had it slip from his hand and into the dirt, is he to be shot, or excommunicated? Give me a break!!! The ones that want to revolt about this would have revolted anyway about something less trivial. LET IT GO, OR, LET GOD LEAD THE WAY.
