Is Your Home Safe From the State?

"An Englishman's home is his castle" was a legal principle founded in 1604 after the famous Semayne's case: it gave protection to householders from bailiffs breaking down their doors in pursuit of money and goods. Of course its antiquity meant that Labour ignored the symbolic and practical importance of the tradition and busily set about allowing pretty much any peeping Tom, Dick or Harry to enter your home.

In the Lords last week Lord Selsdon produced the results of years of research into who has power of entry. Introducing a bill that would allow entry only allowed if authorised by the judge or magistrate, he revealed that about 1,200 powers of entry existed in dozens of different acts.'

  1. Bailiffs used, in theory, to have your permission to enter your house in order to remove your stuff in settlement of a debt and to cover their own charges as sanctioned by the Court.
Labour have allowed them to force entry in your absence including settlement of unpaid civic enforement 'charges', parking tickets and more that have not only never been sanctioned by a Court but which you might be in the process of apealling against.

Should you defend your property against the bailiffs (who are allowed to "restrain" you in your own home) they can call the police for protection against you assaulting them, you get arrested, charged and prosecuted for violence, fail your CRB/ISA check, lose your job, then your home and family before dieing on the street.
    Thanks Nu-Labour, how very socialist.

  2. Yet people who have no sense continue to vote for Labour. If you want a change, then you have to make a CHANGE.

I speak to plenty of people who will whine and complain about Labour and their policies, however, come election day they will take their ballot slip and vote Labour in once more. Gluttons for punishment they appear to be.

The UK is steadily getting worse and worse. They complain about China and Zimbabwe, but those places don't hide it, here they are the same but like to trick people into thinking they are different....Fake.

    This country needs a change.

Personally, I would NEVER vote for Labour again, the last time I voted for labour was way about 10 years ago and that's when I realised, too late that they are a bunch of liars with their education x 3 rubbish. In the meantime, who do you turn to?

To add to this article, I have had bailiffs breaking down my door or should we say accessing my property with the help of a locksmith when the debt owed actually belonged to someone else and had NOTHING to do with me.

I mean, even now they will allow burglars to freely access your home, and yet if you defend yourself, YOU will end up in jail.

At least in America (as bad as THEY are, if an intruder gains entry into your home, you have the right to defend yourself and your family with a gun).

The UK is fast turning into a third world nation.
