Married couples in France could end up with criminal records for insulting each other during arguments.
Under a new law, France is to become the first country in the world to ban ' psychological violence' within marriage.
The law would apply to cohabiting couples and to both men and women.

Well, the facts remain that couples and especially married couples have arguments from time to time. As long as things do not get violent and out of hand, sometimes it is good to say your piece and get it off your chest, in fact arguments are part and parcel of relationships.
ReplyDeleteThese new laws sound like dictatorship to me. Soon we really will have a utopian-like society similar to those in the films equilibrium and aeonflux.
The film synopsis for Equilibrium on imdb reads "In a Fascist future where all forms of feeling are illegal, a man in charge of enforcing the law rises to overthrow the system."
This is how it starts, you have political correctness gone mad where you have to whisper your opinion about things just because some people don't like it, then the people you voted for start dictating to you how to live, what to eat, what to drink, how to drink/eat it and when to drink/eat it. Madness.
