Motorists still being ripped off as oil prices fall, but petrol stays high

Frustrated motorists are failing to see the benefit of slumping oil prices as crude yesterday dropped below $100 a barrel, the AA has warned.
The AA said drivers were being short-changed by up to 6p a litre as oil giants fail to pass on the benefits of tumbling crude prices.
It said that even allowing for a six week lag between oil prices and pump prices, motorists still appeared to be being 'ripped off' and that oil companies were 'dragging their feet.
