Fresh calls for a public inquiry into Omagh bombing after claims bombers' phone calls were recorded

New mobile phone evidence has emerged which could have prevented the Omagh bombing.
Pressure for a public inquiry into the bombing is growing again after it was claimed intelligence chiefs at GCHQ - the British secret organisation which intercepts electronic communications - recorded the bombers' mobile phone calls on the day of the attack.
It is unclear whether monitoring staff were listening to the exchanges live, but it is possible the attack could have been stopped.
