County Sheriff Can Bust Big Brother: Wyoming Sheriffs Put Feds in Their Place

The duly elected sheriff of a county is the highest law enforcement official within a county. He has law enforcement powers that exceed that of any other state or federal official.

This is settled law that most people are not aware of.

County sheriffs in Wyoming have scored a big one for the 10th Amendment and states rights. The sheriffs slapped a federal intrusion upside the head and are insisting that all federal law enforcement officers and personnel from federal regulatory agencies must clear all their activity in a Wyoming County with the Sheriff’s Office. Deja vu for those who remember big Richard Mack in Arizona.

Bighorn County Sheriff Dave Mattis spoke at a press conference following a recent U.S. District Court decision (Case No. 2:96-cv-099-J (2006)) and announced that all federal officials are forbidden to enter his county without his prior approval ......

"If a sheriff doesn’t want the Feds in his county he has the constitutional right and power to keep them out, or ask them to leave, or retain them in custody".'

Relativity Drive: The End Of Wings And Wheels?

The trip from London to Havant on the south coast of England is like travelling through time. I sit in an air-conditioned train, on tracks first laid 150 years ago, passing roads that were known to the Romans. At one point, I pick out a canal boat, queues of cars and the trail from a high-flying jet - the evolution of mechanised travel in a single glance.
But evolution has a habit of springing surprises. Waiting at my destination is a man who would put an end to mechanised travel. 'U.S. tells Russia to pull forces out of Georgia' OR?

'The United States told Russia on Friday to withdraw its forces from U.S. ally Georgia and stop its air attacks on the tiny Caucasus state following fighting in the breakaway region of South Ossetia.

"We call on Russia to cease attacks on Georgia by aircraft and missiles, respect Georgia's territorial integrity, and withdraw its ground combat forces from Georgian soil," U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said in a statement.

Rice issued her statement as Georgia, a former Soviet state that now wants to join NATO, said it would declare martial law and battled to get control of the rebel enclave, which was fortified by Russian forces.

Georgia said Russian fighter jets bombed container tankers and a shipbuilding plant in the port of Poti, prompting Washington's sharpest rebuke of Russia since the crisis began.'

The fact that the mass media as you can see in this article is making Russia out to be the Evil one but it all started by Georgia bombing the shit out of South Ossetia and killing thirty Russian peacekeepers, a fact that the neocon condaleeza Rice is seriously trying to avoid even though it was after her visit when the shit hit the fan.

Once again it's all about Oil and power. The US has been trying to suck Georgia into NATO and therefore screw up Russias deal with Iran for the Caspian Pipeline. South Ossetia wanted to break away from Georgia along with another sub Republic in Georgia. The Neocons in the US however have set up a security pact with Georgia to get control of the pipeline and get it routed through Turkey instead and that combined with the proposed US missile shield around Russia is one more instance of Bush and his cronies manipulating tension and aggression in a region they should stay well out of.
Conveniently timed for the opening of the Olympics and th Mass media distracting the public gaze elsewhere.
Oh and the Israelis are in Georgia too with Military advisors hoping to get a wedge of the profits and in there eyes nothing would be better than to see the US and Russia at each others throats!
