IAEA 'Puts Israeli Nukes On Agenda'

The UN nuclear watchdog has unanimously agreed to put the issue of Israel's nuclear capabilities on the agenda of its annual meeting.

After requests by the Non-Aligned Movement and the Arab League, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) agreed to put the issue of Israel's nuclear capabilities on the agenda of the 52nd annual meeting of the UN body.

American Nuclear Missile Bases In Iraq?

If you toy remember that few days ago Chalabi said something about secret U.S. bases in Iraq. Bahraini newspaper akhbar-alkhaleej said today quoting anonymous Iraqi MP about a secret document never appeared in all SOFA’s drafts about American nuclear sites in Iraq saying:
The Americans are determined to establish at least two nuclear sites in Imam Ali Base - Nasriyah and Al-Bakir - west Iraq, contain long-and-medium range missiles which are probably will target Russia and regional countries.

IAEA: No nuclear material missing in Iran

The International Atomic Energy Agency has denied reports that enriched uranium has disappeared from Iran's nuclear facility in Isfahan. "The article, entitled 'Iran renews nuclear weapons development' published in [Friday's] Daily Telegraph by Con Coughlin and Tim butcher is fictitious," IAEA Spokeswoman Melissa Fleming said in a statement. "IAEA inspectors have no indication that any nuclear material is missing from the plant," reads the statement. The September 12 article alleges that nuclear material equivalent to that of six atomic bombs have disappeared from Isfahan and were believed to have been relocated to covert installations spotted by American spy satellites. "The inspectors only have limited access at Isfahan, and it looks as though Iranian officials have removed significant quantities of UF6 at a stage in the process that is not being monitored," the Daily Telegraph quoted an unnamed nuclear official as saying. The recent IAEA statement, however, confirms that IAEA Chief Mohamed ElBaradei's report on Iran will show that "all nuclear material at the Uranium Conversion Facility in Isfahan remains under Agency containment and surveillance

US Nuclear Weapons Being Guarded By Israel

American supporters of Israel were delighted to learn that an Israeli company, Magal Security Systems-owned in part by the government of Israel-is in charge of security for the most sensitive nuclear power and weapons storage facilities in the United States.

The largest perimeter security company in the world, Magal started out as a division of Israeli Aircraft Industries (IAI)-which was owned in part by the government of Israel. In recent years, however, Magal evolved into a publicly-traded company, although IAI (and thus the government of Israel) still holds a substantial share in the highly successful firm.

What all of this means is that the government of Israel will actually have control over the security of America's nuclear weapons.

Supporters of Israel say that this is a splendid idea, since Israel is said to be perhaps America's closest ally on the face of the planet. However, there are some critics who question the propriety of America's super-sensitive nuclear security being in the hands of any foreign nation, particularly Israel which, even today, officially denies that it is engaged in the production of nuclear arms.

“The Neocons Are Dying to Nuke Iran”

An interview with Dr. Paul Craig Roberts
By Kathy Sanborn

Sanborn: When I read your article, “Marching Off Into Tyranny,” I was impressed by how you were able to concisely sum up one of the most important issues that we face as Americans, namely, the erosion of our civil liberties, mostly due to fabricated terrorism such as the anthrax scare and the attacks on 9/11. You talk about the Florida university professor, Al-Arian, who continues to be victimized by the Feds although a jury has cleared him of any terrorism charges. [As of August 8, 2008, the Associated Press states, “U.S. District Judge Leonie Brinkema postponed the trial indefinitely, questioning whether the government was overeager in filing charges.” –KS]What was your wake-up call, Dr. Roberts, to the fact that the current administration was determined to take away the civil liberties of Americans?Roberts: When they responded to 9/11 with the Patriot Act. That document was thick, and it would have taken months and months to prepare it, yet it came out shortly after the 9/11 attacks. Why does combating terrorism require an assault on the Constitution and the Bill of Rights? It was clear to me that there was an undeclared agenda there. On the day of 9/11, I knew right away that something was wrong. I had been an engineering student at Georgia Tech, and things just didn’t add up. As I watched the towers fall, I could see that the buildings were blowing up from the top, at least initially. The airplanes caused asymmetrical damage, and I don’t think the planes were large enough to cause the buildings to topple. When you chop a tree down, it doesn’t blow up, it falls. The buildings were blowing up, not falling down. Then when I saw pictures of the alleged terrorists, most of them looked just like kids. They were small, and airplane passengers wouldn’t have hesitated to try to take them down. The average American male should have been able to take care of the hijackers. And how they could have fooled all of the intelligence agencies, outwit NORAD, and so on; it just didn’t make any sense. They were really after our civil liberties. That was their undeclared agenda. The effect is that no one has any protection under the law.

Navy Relieves Commander of Air Recon Squadron

'The commander of a Navy air reconnaissance squadron that provides the president and the defense secretary the airborne ability to command the nation's nuclear weapons has been relieved of duty, the Navy said Tuesday.
Cmdr. Shawn Bentley was relieved of duty Monday by the Navy for loss of confidence in his ability to command, only three months after taking the job.
Capt. Brian Costello, commander of the Navy's Strategic Communications Wing One, removed Bentley from command, said Lt. Cmdr. Charlie Brown, a spokesman for the Naval Air Forces.
Brown said Bentley, who is based with the squadron at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma, was removed after an investigation by the Navy's Inspector General. The Navy did not release any details about the investigation or about any possible allegations against Bentley.
But a source close to the investigation told The Associated Press that Bentley's removal regarded an undisclosed personal matter and was not related to the squadron's missions or duties. The source spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to discuss the matter.'

Probably Bush getting rid of another link in the chain that might spoil his plans. Watch, he will be replaced with a puppet!

IAEA approves India nuclear inspection deal

'India and the United States moved significantly closer Friday to implementing a landmark nuclear deal with the approval of an inspection plan by the International Atomic Energy Agency.
The Washington-New Delhi pact would reverse more than three decades of U.S. policy. It calls for allowing the sale of atomic fuel and technology to India, a country that has not signed international nonproliferation accords — and has tested nuclear weapons.
To implement the deal, India must strike separate agreements with the IAEA and with the Nuclear Suppliers Group of countries that export nuclear material. It would then go to the U.S. Congress for approval.'

Such blatent hypocricy!!

So lets just see who doesnt have nuclear weapons in the Near and Middle east errr, errr, errr oh yes Iran , Syria, Lebanon, Palestine
